The service was also fantastic, the waitress constantly kept coming to check on us to make sure our table was good. Everything was seasoned properly and very fresh with a ton of dipping sauces that would make anyone who goes there happy. I will however say, they need to step up on the side dishes- the kimchi could have been a better quality along with their cold radish and spicy cucumber side, maybe possibly add some type of salad bar. The actual bbq pit on the tables could also be a little bit bigger, I found it to be small and it made it hard to cook all the meats and veggies at the same time. An older server with brown hair was walking by carrying waters. My sister smiled, apologized, and politely stepped out of her way. Instead of acknowledging her, the server gave her a very cold stare and continued walking without saying a word. It immediately made the atmosphere feel uncomfortable. The server assigned to our table, a blonde woman wearing a white bow, wasn't welcoming either. From the moment she greeted us, she never smiled and seemed like she just wanted to get through the interaction as quickly as possible. Throughout our meal, she never once came across as warm or friendly. As for the food, it was good overall, but all of our steaks were a bit salty, especially my mother's. To the manager's credit, they replaced the steaks, and I appreciate that they tried to make it right. The replacement steak was a little undercooked, but we chose not to say anything else because, by that point, we already felt uncomfortable and didn't want to make the situation any more awkward. The part that made us feel the most uneasy happened while we were paying. Our server kept looking over at us very intensely. Two other servers standing nearby, one printing our receipt while talking with another employee, also continued looking over at us. Whether intentional or not, it made us feel very uncomfortable. Another thing we noticed was that one of the songs being played in the restaurant contained a racial slur, which didn't help the atmosphere. I'm only sharing what my family personally experienced. I can't speak to anyone's intentions, but we genuinely left feeling unwelcome. If you're a person of color or Hispanic, I would simply say to be aware that this was our experience. Because of the service, the uncomfortable atmosphere, and the issues with the food, I'm giving this location 2 stars.

We were encouraged by a friend to try The Gracious Pig Smokehouse down by the pier, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. From the time we ordered, it took approximately 40 minutes to receive our meal, and it appeared that many others in the dining area were experiencing similar delays. When the food finally arrived, the pulled pork and brisket combination platter fell well short of expectations. Both meats were dry, lacking flavor, and consisted mostly of small pieces with a noticeable amount of charred, blackened remnants. They have 5 BBQ Sauces which is a good variety to have. I liked the Hot , Vinegar , and Rob Sauce the most. For Pulled Pork I found if you mix the Hot and Vinegar Sauces it worked the best. If I would've had Brisket then the Rob Sauce would be my pick for it. The Mild was okay , but I prefer more of a kick. The Mustard Sauce was weak and not tangy enough and I usually like a good mustard sauce sometimes on pulled pork , but prefer the vinegar. Sweet tea ok , not too sweet like some places. Overall it's a well rounded bbq place. My total with tax was $19.70 with my free Veteran's drink , pulled pork platter and 3 sides. I would like to come back and try the Brisket next time.
