We came into this Texas Roadhouse in high spirits, expecting a normal family dinner. Unfortunately, we left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Shortly after arriving, my mother and sister came out of the restroom and noticed they were getting stared at by multiple servers and even some customers. One interaction really stood out. An older server with brown hair was walking by carrying waters. My sister smiled, apologized, and politely stepped out of her way. Instead of acknowledging her, the server gave her a very cold stare and continued walking without saying a word. It immediately made the atmosphere feel uncomfortable. The server assigned to our table, a blonde woman wearing a white bow, wasn't welcoming either. From the moment she greeted us, she never smiled and seemed like she just wanted to get through the interaction as quickly as possible. Throughout our meal, she never once came across as warm or friendly. As for the food, it was good overall, but all of our steaks were a bit salty, especially my mother's. To the manager's credit, they replaced the steaks, and I appreciate that they tried to make it right. The replacement steak was a little undercooked, but we chose not to say anything else because, by that point, we already felt uncomfortable and didn't want to make the situation any more awkward. The part that made us feel the most uneasy happened while we were paying. Our server kept looking over at us very intensely. Two other servers standing nearby, one printing our receipt while talking with another employee, also continued looking over at us. Whether intentional or not, it made us feel very uncomfortable. Another thing we noticed was that one of the songs being played in the restaurant contained a racial slur, which didn't help the atmosphere. I'm only sharing what my family personally experienced. I can't speak to anyone's intentions, but we genuinely left feeling unwelcome. If you're a person of color or Hispanic, I would simply say to be aware that this was our experience. Because of the service, the uncomfortable atmosphere, and the issues with the food, I'm giving this location 2 stars. read more

Service sucked. Waitress never came back to check on food. Steak was way over cooked. Finally some man came and checked on us and told him the problem and all he could say was oh no I'm sorry. Told me we could have sent it back and I told him He was the first person to check On us and he said oh sorry and walked away. Waitress still Never came to Us. This is absolutely, hands-down, the best Texas Roadhouse location my grandparents and I have been to. This was also the best experience I have had with chain chicken Alfredo, so that's always a plus. My grandparents loved their meals as well, and the cheeseburger was absolutely massive. The rolls were also huge. I tried one of their new dirty sodas and it was yummy. Our waitress, Melissa, was kind and helpful as well. We will definitely make a trip down to Murrells Inlet for this location again. read more

Always have great service when dining at Texas Roadhouse. I had the shrimp and filet combo and the steak was cooked perfectly. Love their Caesar salad and the loaded baked potato was awesome. Can be a bit noisy but not too loud. Recommend getting on their waitlist if it is a busy time. Will be back soon! read more

Food is always delicious. We ordered steaks, chili and a salad. Service was great. However, I recommend not going on a Saturday evening. We checked in at 5:30 pm and weren't seated until 7:20 pm. We were warned the wait was 1 hour and 15 min. I did notice other patrons names that checked in before us were misplaced and later added to the wait list. They also had two large birthday parties shoved into the small waiting area amongst the rest of us. So apparently Saturday evenings are not your best days to go hungry. read more

We went here during the week. Even though the parking lot was packed, I was surprised we only waited about 25 minutes. Our waitress, Hayden answered all my questions on different steaks which helped me make my decision. I ordered the Dallas Filet and my husband ordered the Country Fried Chicken. My wife and I hadn't been to this restaurant for at least 10 years. Our neighbors gave us a gift card for here. Got there around 4:30 pm. Parking lot was full. We're thinking "guess we had been missing something ." We were in the mood for a juicy burger and fries. Start out awesome, we got a basket of yeast rolls, yum. Ordered our meal. Our burgers arrived but just didn't look right. Very burnt looking around the edges. Thought , ok as long as it's hot and juicy, I'll be happy. Nope. Took two bites and was done. Soooo dry. Ricky was our server he came to our table and we felt rushed to tell him what we wanted to eat, I needed to switch out my drink because the sweet tea tasted old. We had to grab another server to help us because he ignored us every time we said "excuse me". He didn't check up on us much until we were finishing our meal and shoved the check in our face. We pay our check in cash and the change we said he could keep and we were also going to leave more on the table before we left.
