Handel's is an Ohio based franchise that was started by Alice Handel in 1945. The local location is limited to a walk-up window near Greyhound Pass in Carmel. We had a choice of over 50 flavors, including sherbet and vegan options. Service is friendly and quick. I selected a small cone with coffee chocolate chip ice cream. The small cones are quite large. There must have been a quarter pound of chocolate chips in my ice cream! It was delicious - not too sweet. My husband had the strawberry cheesecake crunch small cone. He loved the crunch and thought the ice cream tasted very fresh. I appreciated that the paper wrapper on the cone was not glued to the cone. I love my cone. We ate our cone at clean outdoor benches that are on the north side of their shop. Parking is close and the shop was not busy during our afternoon visit.

Having grown up in Columbus, OH she had this ice cream often and loved it. I thought it was like any other ice cream shop, but I have to say that the Graham Central station was one of the best ice creams I've ever had. We went to the east Carmel location, which has walk-up windows to place your order. It's in a shopping complex with plenty of parking. I got a small size in a cake cone. The small cost $4.50 before tax. Wasn't small at all, so I'd recommend this and it would be plenty imo. Handel's- worth a venture. I wished they would have one in North Indy or west side.

There is also a station where you can play vintage games, like a small arcade game station. This place is super cute and has a variety of frozen yogurt selections and they change everyday. There are other options like boba tea, rolled ice cream, shakes, etc. but honestly I come for the frozen yogurt. They have probably more than 40 toppings so there is something for everyone. You can ask for small cups to try flavors if you want. When you're ready to fill your cup, you can select small or large. I tend to go big or go home. Frozen yogurt is by weight so fill up accordingly. I tend to mix a bunch of flavors that I like. I have been going here since it opened years ago. It's one of my favorite places for a sweet treat. They also have two different large tablet-like game tables that has maybe 100ish games that we love. Trouble is a classic! I hope this place is around forever and I recommend to everyone I know.

You did not greet me. You did not smile at me. You are a screen. But sure, let me consider my tip percentage. The drink itself was decent but not memorable. Would I go back? Probably not on purpose. That said, the vibe inside was surprisingly different from what I expected, in a good way, so points for that. Kids seem to absolutely love this place, which tells you something. If you are a child or have one with you, this might be the move. For the rest of us, check it out and form your own opinion.

The creamery / dairy is such a cool addition to the whole experience. They make their own ice cream and various cheeses. They offered them on a cheese charcuterie board for an appetizer. The place sits on a large and very pretty plot of property. The cows are adorable and they have my favorite cows - the cute and sweet brown Swiss and Jersey breeds. The restaurant is vast and the atmosphere is comfy and rustic. The food was great and everyone seemed to enjoy it. It was all well prepared. We tried the fish, burger, mac and cheese and scallops pasta dish. I had a filet steak and it was wonderful. The staff were very knowledgeable and so helpful and friendly. They have a gift shop and sell many cool handmade items like lotions, soaps and food. If I am ever back in this area, I will absolutely come back.

We only got desserts as we had other dinner plans we got some milkshake, scoop of ice cream, soda float, and a small cup of their organic chocolate milk All were delicious and very very tasty Outside you can meet some of their animals, they have a big old red barn that houses baby calves and there's some chickens and if you go in further to the property you can see the big cows
