i have no respect for a company who allows their managers to berate and harass employees outside of business hours. firing someone over not having time to prep so they could tend to customers needs, WHILE THERE'S A HURRICANE OUTSIDE, is a wild thing to do, and then to quit right after? get some help. the manager at this location is a shameful example of what a manager should be. oh, and not to mention that grain and berry let her come back and rescinded the fired employee's job offer because the manager said "i will come back as long as they aren't there." did we suddenly forget that managers are replaceable too? read more

We are visiting from out of town and this place is delicious. Do not go an hour before closing. Because they will dismiss you if you do come. I recommend coming during the day because you will get amazing customer service and the food is fresh and hot! Reason why I gave them 3 stars due to the evening staff being so rude. Apparently their customer service stops 30 minutes before closing. Attention manager and staff: if you are closing before 30 minutes before time please lock the doors if you do not want to assist your customers! read more

This place is incredible. I got the oh, kale no bowl and it was delicious. The consistency, fruit, and granola were all better than I expected. At first I thought $10 was pricey but after getting my bowl and not being able to finish it because I was so full I realized it was worth every penny. While a product can often keep me coming back, it's really the customer service that does it for me.. and theirs is incredible! I came in with my toddler and they gave her a little bowl of fruit and granola, which she loved! They also were very friendly and asked how we heard about the place, and made sure we liked what we had ordered. My only suggestion would be to have an "order here" sign because it was a little confusing upon walking in. We had a great experience and will definitely be back! read more

Normally like this place but I reorder my same usual bowl in the app and was previously told to state "dine in" so they would make it how it's made when you dine in, which make better with the drizzles on top instead of in the granola. The girl missed my note (the same note that is on all my past orders) and said I ordered it wrong and started talking over me explaining that it was my fault. Then the manager came and explained that my order was very unusual.... And literally the next two people ordered it the exact same way. All it is is the grain and berry bowl for dine in. What is complicated about that. Could have just said "I'm sorry I missed the instructions" and I would have been fine. Now I have to worry about an argument every time I order the most common bowl. read more

This place is more about the look then the flavor. All smoothie bases are pre-made. Not sure what the shelf life is, but I prefer to watch them blend fresh. The smoothies portion of the bowl is grainy, for example the kale bowl has tiny pieces of kale. Texture eaters beware. It does crave a sweet tooth and will be delicious on a summer day, however I think there are better locations in North Pinellas. The ambience inside is nice, used to be an old Starbucks. read more

I really wanted to love this place, but after a few times of ordering through their online system I realized they are not consistent. The prices do not match the quality of their food. For an example today I ordered a kickin' chickn' quesadilla and when I went to pick up my order the girl behind the counter told me "We are all out of chickn" so they made my $13 quesadilla without any protein and didn't even offer a drink or anything for the replacement. In fact I went in 30 mins after placing the order and they didnt start making it until I walked in. With that said I will not be returning back. read more

Recently raised their prices between $1 and $2 on everything. My bowl that used to be $10.84, which was already pretty pricey, is now $12.84. Absolutely insane! Who raises prices like that in the middle of a pandemic when people are struggling??? I used to go three times a month. I will not be going anymore. Too expensive not worth it read more

I've only had the açaí bowls and they are quite delicious. There are 4 types of bowls to chose from: Açaí, Spirulina, Pitaya and Kale. I need to get more adventurous and try the others. For açaí my favorite is the Grain and Berry which is granola, banana, strawberries, blueberries, Nutella, peanut butter and coconut shavings. Omg. Can you say DELISH! I recently found out about this place from family & friends and I had to try it for myself! I have to say, I enjoyed everything I had there so far! I've had the healthy elvis smoothie and several of the açaí bowls. During my most recent visit, I had the wheatgrass shot and the green whisperer. The wheatgrass shot was nice in the sense that it came with an apple slice to ease the bitter taste of the shot. The green whisperer is my favorite fruit shake and the healthy elvis is my favorite post-workout shake. They explain all ingredients in detail on the menu and in person/ The atmosphere of the restaurant is calming and soothing with the dim lighting. This restaurant used to be a Starbucks but I like the way it was remodeled. All in all, this is my favorite, healthy option for shakes and açaí bowls in the Tampa Bay Area! read more

Grain and Berry is not my favorite. There are several menu options from fresh smoothies, pitaya bowls and acai bowls. When ordering, I began to speak and was interrupted "do you want to sign up for our rewards program" um ok. So, I did. Then I was able to order. The prices are a bit higher than I've experienced elsewhere. I liked the toppings, bananas, granola, nutella but did not like the acai. The flavor was off to me. The acai was presented nicely but honestly was hard to eat out of the large glass goblet. Would I stop by again in the future? Maybe. read more

Everything...literally EVERYTHING about Grain & Berry is amazing. Smoothies, açaí bowls, banana splits?!?! What?! Yes y'all, they have it all. Spacious seating, ample parking (you can use the business park lot next door too), clean bathrooms, and courteous staff. I highly suggest this place for breakfast, a quick smoothie for errands, or an after work or workout pick-me-up. read more

My son and I came here for a treat after his soccer game. What a cool place!!!! We each had a pitaya (dragon fruit) bowl with fresh fruit on it and holy hell was it good! Our orders literally came out within a few minutes and they serve the smoothie bowls in beautiful glass dishes almost like large ice cream dishes. So presentation was A+++! The cashier was enthusiastic and super cool, made us feel welcome and didn't mind as I squinted and stared at the menu trying to figure out what to get. The bowls were delicious!! I would give it 3.5, if it were possible. Five stars for all the menu items. By far, the freshest, tastiest ingredients of all the Tampa Bay competitors (I think I have tried them all!) They lose stars at this location because the granola layer has slowly been creeping up with less of the base (acai, spirulina, kale, pitaya) overall. The price is crazy as well at 10.75 plus tax and tip. Hey, there's a line no matter when I go so I can understand but it becomes a rare treat for most people rather than a regular thing. read more

I was psyched to try this place when it was named best acai bowl in the Tampa Bay area, but I think my experience suffered from the high expectations. While they make for a beautiful presentation, the bowl shape requires you to eat a lot of toppings before you can excavate the acai, only to end up with too much naked acai at the end.The acai base was pretty good but oddly heavy, and the toppings were fine. The granola in particular was pretty lackluster. Not bad but haven't been craving a return visit. I think Tampa Bay can do better! read more

It's about time this area got something like this, their açaí bowls are so good and well presented, I have yet to try the pitaya or kale bowl, but I did get a make your own bowl, it was a little pricey but worth it, it's a pretty big bowl and you can eat it there or take it to go and it's the same size bowl. Hopefully they stay there, I would eat here before heading to the causeway to lay out or maybe a Sunday breakfast after a run. I was so used to Starbucks being in that building but this was a great replacement! read more

We had a nice experience this morning at grain and berry. They offered my sister a taste of the dragon fruit base as well as the açaí base so she could decide which she would enjoy more! They also let you switch out anything you don't like, even changed my dragon fruit base to include mango instead of banana! Both bowls were tipped with delicious fruit and Nutella!! So so yummy!! It's a bit pricey but very filling and healthy!! Stop by for a bowl!!! read more

Just moved to area and decided to Do pick up order through yelp app and give this place a a try. The menu was detailed and made it easy to choose 2 different avocado toasts one vegan and one with dairy as well as a delicious peanut butter smoothie. The staff was friendly as I was met with warm welcomes and my order was fresh made and ready to go. The ingredients were all very fresh and I can't wait to come back and try more items. read more

I've been wanting to try one of those Acai bowls for the longest. I saw this place and had to try it. So I get there and as soon as I walk in I'm greeted. I Love that customer service! So, I'm like ugh, so much to choose from, where do I start. So the nice lady was patient as I took forever to decide and so she suggested their most common Bowl the Grain and Berry bowl. Ok, I'll take it. Order up and I was on my way to work but mostly to dig into this bowl. Omggggg, so good, so fresh, so much of it. Definitely worth the $10.50. This place is FANTASTIC. My family and I went there today for the first time. It's so clean and photogenic and cute. They have a vast menu with smoothies, avocado toasts, yogurt bowls, spirulina bowls, açaí bowls, etc. You can take your food to go or eat it there in cute glass ice cream bowls. I ordered the caprese avocado toast and the grain and berry açaí bowl. I loved both! Totally worth the money! It was $15 total for both. The acai bowl was very large with lots of toppings. The açaí base wasn't frozen and you can tell they only use quality ingredients. I'm thrilled and will return soon! read more

Thanks to my friend Ashley's insistence on visiting this place across the street from her other addiction(orange theory) I finally decided to try it out and it was all that and then some. The shop is small, simple, modern furnished with a good atmosphere . I was there late morning and so my meal was intended to fill my breakfast and lunch craving and it just did that. Ive always loved fruit but I didn't know this cocktail of it would taste so good and filling without being uncomfortable after completely clearing the seemingly large bowl. It wasn't actually that big after all. Since it was my first visit , I couldn't just pick my favorite one but with the help of the most patient employee in the world, I listed what I liked and we came up with the Grain and Berry minus the peanut butter . I have already recommended this establishment to a lot of people and I'm definitely going back this week. Amazing service and an even better product. read more

This store does not take gluten free seriously if you have any sensitivity I would highly recommend staying away from this place! They will say some of their granola is vegan make sure you ask to check the bag because it's not. They serve moldy non organic fruit! They have no organic products. read more

Incredible concept of fresh Acai, Pitaya, Oatmeal and Kale Bowls. Fruit is fresh, ripe, and bountiful. Add Nutella, peanut butter to make your own creation or pick one of their creations. Add protein to any bowl too! Absolutely delicious. Smoothies too! Son got the Elvis smoothie with bananas, peanut butter, Nutella, honey, chocolate, whey protein and milk. Amazing! Price is right for the high quality and place is immaculate. Staff was friendly. Manager was great too! We will come regularly and are so happy it's close to home!! Hooray!! read more

I've intended to try Grain and Berry since they opened but hadn't had an opportunity to until this morning. I walked in and mind you, last time I was there it was the Starbucks so I felt somewhat nostalgic. I was the only customer there at the time, and the staff was very attentive. I went with the 'Oh Kale No' to go. It was neat to watch the staff assemble the bowl and see all the fresh ingredients being combined. The total came to $10.17 which is on the higher end- I certainly couldn't justify getting it daily, but as a special treat... sure. Taste. This bowl is so yummy!!! Love how all the flavors come together and was great after my morning run. I will be a return customer- not as frequently as I'd like do to cost effectiveness, but certainly returning. read more

My base was quinoa and brown rice mixed. Some of my fillings were pineapple, edamame, seaweed salad, beet, to name a few. You can pick 6. They also have toppings which I picked crispy beets, almonds, to name a few. You can pick 4. The two sauces were cucumber wasabi and poke sauce which I picked to be on the side. It came out quickly and quite colorful. This bowl was ok but about 60 percent of it was quinoa and rice, and I would say maybe 15 percent was salmon and the rest were the fillings and toppings. I didn't really need the sauce which I don't love the flavors of. I just wish there had been more fish, but I think it was barely there. Ambiance is fine and clean and colorful.
