I have been eating here my entire life and I haven't had anything I don't like. Everything is so fresh and so yummy. It is a go-to in my house, especially when we can't decide what to eat. Why call ahead of time when the wait for my order will be the same wait time as if I were to have order it while I were there. It took 20 minutes from the phone call to my hands. This is by far the BEST burger joint in G-Town! I highly recommend trying the classic 1/4 pound burger with fries combo if you've never been here before and have a sensitive palate. Be sure to salt your fries cause they don't salt them for you (and it doesn't taste right without). They make their own ranch here and it tastes awesome with their fries and onion rings (not to mention their fried zuchinni)! My favourite that I get here is the Carne Asada burrito (not the breakfast variety the one on the Mexican food menu). I always have them add rice because otherwise the burrito is only meat, cheese, beans and pico de gallo. Definitely ask for extra pico de gallo on the side and keep adding some to each bite. The burrito is so huge I can only eat half in one sitting (though saving and eating the other half for lunch the next day is excellent if you have patience to warm it up in the toaster oven). I would also highly recommend the salads. My favourite is the Greek chicken salad. It comes with mixed greens, cucumbers, red onions, bell peppers, kalamata olives, feta cheese crumbles and usually comes with their Italian dressing which works really well with this salad. As far as the rest of the menu goes here is a list of those you must try in addition to those I mentioned above: onion rings mushroom-swiss burger (add an onion ring to it for some crunch) chili-cheese fries Oriental chicken salad Carne asada taco (Tip: take this home, divide the meat evenly, warm up another tortilla, add rice & beans and you'll have enough meat for two tacos = a full belly) read more

Let's not kid ourselves, this is a fast food joint. That being said, the staff is friendly and efficient and seem to be enjoying working there. The food is greasy and delicious. I live in Las Vegas NV and these days after work I cook at home for my BF and me, or we go out and sample the buffets and other local restaurants looking for new favorites!' I am "reviewing" Grand Burger on Grand Ave in Glendora because I am definately qualified to review them based on years of delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners they served to me and my family! Looking at some of these other reviews, it seems anyone reviewing Grand Burger has gotten "stuck" on the Chili Cheese Fries and has missed out on some of the more amazing selections they have to offer...... .....yes, they have awesome Chili Cheese Fries, thus they have awesome Chili with Cheese and onions too. But next time I travel "over the hill" to So Cal and visit my kids and grandkids, I will stop in at Grand Burger for one of my favorites - PASTRAMI! You order their pastrami sandwich it is on a great big roll full of delicious thin-sliced pastrami meat, you can order pickles on or off, mustard lots or none, they will fix your sandwich just to your liking! Pastrami meat by its very nature has some fat on it but the meat at Grandburgers is NOT mostly fat, like you get at some other non-chain places. You can ask for extra au jus and they will give you a little cupful to take home, too. Have to get the onion rings with the pastrami, by the way. The order is HUGE! Try the fish and chips! Big hunks of delicious flaky fish in delicate batter - french fries are big and satisfying - they have malt vinegar available, tarter sauce and of course ketchup! I always asked for some dill pickle chips too. On another taste bud is the Grand Burger taco and taquito order.....the taco is so full of meat and cheese and lettuce and chopped tomatoes, you eat what stays in the taco shell and then get a fork to eat the rest of it off the paper wrapper like a salad! It's like a free entree! Can't go wrong and it always tastes fresh! Taquitos order is 2 plus guacamole - the kind you get at the Little League Softball Snackbars which is wonderful! They will put a little shredded lettuce, chopped onion and cheddar cheese on top for you and you don't need to eat again until next Tuesday! You don't have to pay extra for the guacamole. If you ask for some sour cream as well, you'll get it, and you don't pay extra for that either! I've never been a fan of the giant breakfast burrito because somehow I don't think potatoes were meant to go inside a tortilla, but the regular "gringo" breakfasts with french toast or pancakes and eggs and bacon etc. are the best bargain for your breakfast buck you will find on Route 66,,,,, The staff is always cheerful and the food is plentiful and delicious. It's a great neighborhood "diner/dive" or some such and you just can't go wrong. I miss Grand Burgers. The only thing bad about them is they haven't opened one here in Las Vegas yet...well, one can still wish.....! I used to work not far from there so lots of times someone from the office would take our order lists and money and drive thru and bring back - lots ot times I went for my families' dinner on my way home - my kids played local sports and lots of times after games at the park a lot of us from the team would end up the day having a Grand Burger! Because yes, their BURGERS are GRAND, too! Well just go there and see for yourself, but don't get stuck thinking the only thing decent on the menu is the chili cheese fries! read more

I used to love this place, BUT they've changed my mind since. Lately this place has had a complete lack of customer service, employees are usually rude and seem like they aren't happy to serve you. Just today I came in and got a Chorizo burrito. I didn't ask for hair in it but I got it anyway. I took it back to the counter where someone asked what the problem was. After explaining I asked for a refund, which is all I got. But not once did a single employee apologize for something so disgusting. Instead cooks gave me the "dirty" eye. I'd only suggest this place to customers who don't mind bad customer service or to those who like hair in their food. read more

Stopped in here from Santa Barbara. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was great! The burrito was wrapped properly and didn't fall apart. Grand burger breakfast burritos are super good.. Pancakes are awesome.. Good potatoes. Breakfast is good. I've had the BLT with avocado.. It's super good. The fries are normal nothing special. But I'm pleased mostly when I go. I ordered onion rings and they were Orange. It was weird. They tasted ok but it freaked me out they were orange so I didn't eat them. Other than that. My family has been getting food here for a long time and we've been very satisfied with the quality and price of the food. The only complaint I have is that just recently they seem to have changed their onion ring recipe. In the past their onion rings had a batter crust and were so good, but now they have a breading type of coating and they are not nearly as good as the old ones. Go back to the old recipe! read more

I just tried Grand Burger. It wasn't quite as grand as I hoped. I ordered a 1/4 lb burger, no cheese, made it a combo and my friend ordered the 1/4 lb chili burger. My burger was soggy, messy, and tasteless. My friend's chili burger was the same. He took it apart, ate the beef patty and left the rest of this burger in its wrapper. The fries were soggy. The menu is quite varied so we will give it another try and order breakfast before we call it quits on Grand Burger altogether. read more

My mother bought a breakfast burrito from this place. First off the staff is very rude!! Secondly, She took a couple bites and realized that there was GLASS in her food. so, we called the place to let them know about the incident and the "manager" hung up the phone. We tried them back a second time expressing how we didn't appreciate being hung up on and they hung up again. VERY unprofessional. Grand burger is a family owned burger spot. My recommendation is to get the classic cheeseburger combo and substitute the regular fries for chili cheese fries. The regular portion of chili cheese fries is simply too much hot slop. The Assad tacos are a sleeper item here. The guy that often works the drive through has been here since I was a child. Unbelievable! They also have orange bang. No longer open 24/7 due to a city ordinance they close at midnight. This is the perfect place to grab a quick cheap and satisfying burger or go go hog wild on some fried hot slop. Hey the salads are even dank. Cannot go wrong here. read more
