It was very good! Excellent location right on Route 66. It is about a block away from In & Out but my heart remains loyal to The Hat. Huge parking lot, with drive thru available. I've been coming to Grand Burger on a fairly regular basis for more than 20 years, now. I used to live just a mile down the street, on Baseline and Gladstone. I typically get the main Cheese burger meal, plus a Jr. Cheese burger all by itself. Almost all of their combos come with Fries or Chicken tenders. I stick with the Fries. Very fresh taste, not too salty. The burgers are certainly better than average, too, but I do think the patties need to be thicker. They're a little on the thin side, for my taste, but the taste is still very good. It's worth the money, for the most part. Although I can honestly say that some of their prices are a little too high for the kind of food they serve, I will still recommend them. The food is indeed good, and the staff have always been kind with me. In my experience, it's been mostly females who work here. I typically eat my food within the restaurant, but they do have a drive-through, if you need. They also have outdoor seating. In fact, the outdoor are is almost as large as the restaurant itself. I no longer live in Glendora, but I still make time for this place, whenever I can. I think it's worth it. read more

Went to Grand burger yesterday after I called in a phone order for a BLT with extra bacon and when I got there my order was ready I walked out the parking lot to my car and I checked my sandwich because it did not feel like it had extra bacon which it did not it only had three pieces and I paid an extra $1. 59 for extra bacon, which originally should come with four pieces of bacon +2 extra pieces that I paid for. Check your food! And on a sidenote it's pretty disgusting to look at the cooks ass behind the register counter when his underwear is hanging out halfway down his butt cheeks. Very solid food here, on a scale of 1 to 10 in food taste and quality, that's an 8, and usually one's food is served up fairly quickly, only on a couple of occasions over the years have I waited over something around 10 minutes for what I ordered. When I come here I always, always get the vegetarian burrito without cheese, loaded with the hottest peppers they offer (which aren't really hot at all, but I carry hot sauce in my purse at all times for just such occasions.) The seating area is fairly small, usually I can find a seat or ask to share a table with someone already there, yet over the years I have had to eat outside which in wet weather isn't all that fun. Still, if you're looking for something solid and inexpensive, this is the place! read more

I've been coming here for years and eat here a few times a month. I personally think they have the best chili cheese fries in the area. I've tried nearly their whole menu but I always come back to the chili cheese fries. The lunch hours are pretty busy, avoid them if you can. It's a perfect place to have a casual informal lunch with friends or family. Food quality is good, service is good, but I have to give it 4 stars because of the prices. Vegi burrito, waited 25 minutes before going to the counter with my receipt and asking, "I'm not going to get my burrito, am I?" after which the idiot behind the counter started searching for the missing order and came up empty. Whenever I am in the area, I try to stop by Grand Burger... It brings back lots of memories, getting to go burgers and fries with the family. Going home, watching a movie and eating our burgers and fries. It was always fun, and the whole family loves the food... The pancakes here are generally outstanding--fluffy and delicious about 90% of the time. However, there are occasional lapses when they are left on the griddle too long, which can be quite disappointing. Overall, a great choice for pancake lovers, but consistency could be improved. read more

I tried the rib eye steak and it was made exactly how I like it. I shared half with family. Full order of zucchini and a nice cold drink. My co-workers had chili cheese fries and I had to come back to try them. Great chili! Who needs to drive to LA when we have great chili here SGV! Plus where can you get breakfast and lunch and a coffee mocha! My son loved the strawberry shake too! They take cards and phone orders too! Catering is a plus and most surrounding businesses already know, if you need 30 breakfast burritos, they got you! Say hi to mom and pop! It's a family thing!!

My brother in law loved the pastrami there, the bread is thin with plenty of meat makes it great. This is definitely my go to place for a great to go meal.
