Typical casino cafe with slot machine music in the background. The service was quick in the beginning but we had to wait a bit for our food. Food was okay but nothing exciting. It was a bit pricey but we all have to make a buck to survive.

Came her about 8:30 pm because I needed real food, and have enjoyed the meals here in the past. Today was very quiet here - the whole casino was almost empty, too! I was seated quickly and not one, but two, servers asked if wanted a drink other than the water they quickly brought. I think the servers outnumbered us customers 2 to 1, at least! I had checked the menu before coming here and found a new item - a pesto grilled cheese sandwich. Simple comfort food with a new take on it. This one has the pesto, cheddar and jack cheeses, as well as grilled red onions, and sauteed mushrooms on grilled sourdough. You can pick another bread if you like, but I kept it traditional! With that sandwich you also get a choice of a side: French Fries, Sweet Potato Fries or Onion Rings. You can also upgrade to Fruit Cup, Garlic Fries, Soup or Salad for $2. I added a side salad, extra Ranch! (I just use the salad to get the ranch dressing into my piehole! ) The salad came quickly, on a chilled plate, and was accompanied by two dressing in containers. Lots of salad on a smaller plate with two dressing was a challenge to cut and mix, but I managed! The sandwich followed soon after, and was nice and melty hot. I admit, it was not much to look at (the always eat first!) but the first bite was a blend of heavenly tastes! The cheeses, the pesto (just enough!), the grilled, soft yet sweet red onions, and the sauteed mushrooms all blended well. The moistness of the fillings softened the bottom bread a bit, so I need to remember to flip the sandwich halves when they arrive next time to help the steam escape. Still, the flavor was more important than the texture of the grilled bread. My server, Jennifer, was professional and friendly, and kept tabs on my needs, as did two other servers throughout the meal, keeping me filled with iced water and iced tea. Overall, a great late night "snack." Left happy ...

Clean and quick service. Food is Sysco.. taste like Applebees, tgif, dennys if you get my rift. Mass produced and lacking nutrients.

Convenient and acceptable are the words I would use to describe the Grand Cafe. We dined here before a show at the GSR and not doubt of the convenience. We dined early, roughly 5:30pm for a 7pm show. There was no wait and was quickly seated. The menu is diverse, offering your standard burgers and salads, but also offered a short list of Asian cuisine, which was an interesting surprise. The Asian food was passable but far from authentic or even flavorful. That said my wife ordered the burger. It was quite good. The fries were excellent. I may have sampled one or two. I ordered the Bowl of Chili. When I asked the waitress what she thought of the Chili, she replied "I'm not really a Chili girl, so I'm not a good judge but people order more burgers than the Chili". Err...okay. Not exactly a ringing endorsement. What the hell, how bad can it be, he says... Much to my surprise the Chili was quite good. A solid blend of beef and beans. The flavor was actually pretty good. I would order this again. Served with a side order of minced onions and sour cream. You won't confuse the Grand Cafe for fine dining, but you can't beat its convenience.

This evening (11pm) we chose to grab a bite @ The Grand Cafe open until 2am on Saturday evenings. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and the music was vibing from the DJ nextdoor at The Crystal lounge. Each of us enjoyed our late night eats. 1. Grilled Chicken Sandwich w/sweet potato fries. 2. We were seated promptly. Our sever was nice and pleasant. She gave me time to review the menu. There's plenty of seating. Very nice old Hollywood, but modern decoration. Food was good and plentiful. The kids menu was a great value. $10 for 2 pancakes, an egg and hash browns. I got the same thing but the adult size and it included two bacon and two sausage For $24. The hashbrowns were made perfectly. I did have to wave down our server for a few items on different occasions, including a spoon for my coffee and creamer, butter for the kids pancakes, so make sure you ask for these upfront so you don't have to wait. Overall, nice breakfast

First off the hospitality is great! Kell is amazing 100/10 service. She's such a gem and was so sweet the entire time. She gave my family and I recommendations on the food and kept it real. We decided to go for the chicken noodle soup, creamy cajun chicken and shrimp pasta and the grand cheeseburger. The burger was an 8/10, chicken noodle 6/10 and the pasta 9/10. Very good food but the service was the star of the show, would come back simply to get served by Kel again.

Try this place out and you will not regret it . Got seated within a few minutes of arrival , clean restaurant . Nice menu . Delicious homemade chili and my salad was 10/10. Server Terry was not only personable and sweet but very good . I'll definitely recommend this place .

This is my second review for this place within a few days. That is to thank Claudia for an amazing service during our morning breakfast and special thanks to Terry for serving dinner. Terry did not just accommodate my request but was very helpful with menu and suggested a yummy item. She is very soft spoken and very professional. I appreciate her. Ty Terry for making my boring evening fun.

Two years later and we're back. Same great food. Same quiet and quaint ambiance. Same great service. We were ironically seated in the same table as two years ago. Food and service were even better this time. I love the updates. Hubby had chicken quesadillas and I had sante fe chicken salad. It definitely hit the spot after being on the road. Thank you Sierra.

Parking is fairly easy, with plenty of street spaces nearby, and an easy walk if you're already hanging around the neighborhood. The service was friendly and fairly prompt, and even for a weekday night the place was bustling, leading to a bit of a backup. Cool vibes all around, and it's neat to sit at the bar and watch the chefs do their thing. Though it does mean this is a little bit on the noisy side. Look at the menu, and there are tons of tempting options. As the name suggests, their specialty here is small plate off the grill or out fo the fryer. But they do serve really good-looking ramen, too, which I will make not to try next time I swing by. I at first went with a quick bite of grilled chicken thighs, which were just amazing! They were juicy, eprfectly seared, with some grilled green onions and an amazing sweet soy sauce. I also went with the yakionigiri, which are balls of rice that are grilled, brushed with sauce, and topped with a sort of mango slaw. A bit uncommon, but wow, these were also just so delicious! Also had a glass of sake, though they have a full bar should you want some other sort of beverage. Prices here are, I feel, a little on the higher end for small plates. However, I think it is definitely worth coming and trying this place out at least once or twice, just to expereince some of the good food. I'm sorry it took me so long to finally step through the doors, but I am certain I will be back again to try more of what's on the menu.

One thing we noticed right away was that the bonchon was already set on the tables before guests arrived. It wasn't a large spread--just a small tin of cheese corn and a divided tray with kimchi, bean sprouts, and fish cake--not sure how long they were left out and did look and taste dry. The servers seemed to work well together. Different team members checked on us, cleared dishes, served food, and helped other's tables. Once it got busier, they also used robot servers to help deliver food. We started with the salad with house dressing and the popcorn chicken. Both were good, and the chicken was nice and moist. For the BBQ, we ordered the Chardol, Ju Mul Luck, Hawaiian Steak, Tri-Tip Bulgogi, and Galbi (short ribs). Having eaten at quite a few Korean BBQ restaurants in Las Vegas, we noticed the portions here were a bit smaller. They also limit each round to three appetizers and four meat selections. Overall, the service was good, and we especially appreciated Eurie for being friendly and attentive. The only thing that concerned us was when another server changed our grill. Instead of lightly drizzling oil onto the grill, she forcefully squeezed the bottle, causing the oil to shoot out onto grill. It seemed like an unnecessary safety risk for both guests and employees. Our favorites were definitely the Tri-Tip Bulgogi and the Galbi. Both were flavorful and tender. The Chardol was good, but the slices were very thin and the portion felt a little small. The restaurant filled up quickly between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., so it's clearly a popular spot. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would come back for the Tri-Tip Bulgogi, Galbi, and the teamwork displayed by the staff.

A fried squash (pumpkin?) was delectable, had some very good bean curd/mixed veggies, the Sichuan water fish did the job but was a bit short from the best I've had-- which to be fair is tough because there is so much Sichuan food everywhere these days. A second veggie dish with lotus root was also excellent, and the sweet and sour pork, while not memorable, was distinctly better than the sweet and sour chicken.
