Nice spot inside Atlantis to grab food. Diner type feel with lots of seating (booths and tables). Staff are friendly and we were seated quickly for breakfast. Breakfast is available all day too. The menu had lots of selections. The food was good and came out fast.

Purple Parrot in the Atlantis for late night eating. Have I been here before? I don't know. Seems impossible that I don't remember this coffee shop. It was really really good! Even the service and decor was great. Mmmm, I'll add it to my list of places to eat that are open 24 hours. Had my usual, corned beef and eggs with rye toast. I probably should have tried the hash browns instead of home fries but they were fine.

Late night visit to Purple Parrot. The Caesar salad was delicious. My favorite was the cheese crust accompanied by it. Our child also enjoyed the pasta, feedback he provided was the meat ball size was too big. Making it difficult for him to enjoy. Staff was attentive and helpful when taking our order.

Old time diner feel with many different types of food from breakfast to late night. Quick accurate service with a smile. I chose biscuits and gravy while my wife has Asian chicken salad. All at five in the afternoon. APP doesn't feel like you are in a giant casino. More like a small town diner in a strip mall. Big portions fresh and hot or cold as each should be. You don't have to stay at Atlantis to enjoy APP but if you stay there definitely find the purple bird and eat up.

My favorite breakfast... country fried steak and eggs.

Breakfast at the Purple Parrot... my favorite dish is their country fried steak and eggs. Their gravy is the best. Service is quick and it's spacious inside. It's easy to maneuver with an electric scooter.

Open 24 hours with an extensive menu, so you can't go wrong. The portions are large and my country fried steak came with 2 eggs and hash browns and a biscuit. It was delicious and my only complaint is that there are no microwaves to heat up left overs.

Steak and eggs breakfast with English muffin

I had a craving for some steak and eggs and since I was in the neighborhood, I dropped by Atlantis' Purple Parrot restaurant. It was a bit of a trek from the main parking lot since it clear across the opposite side of the casino. When I arrived at the restaurant, there was no queue but the restaurant was full of diners. The cashier/hostess greeted me immediately and since I was a lone diner, I had ample choices where to sit; I chose to sit at the bar in-front of the kitchen. My server, Dahlia, appeared momentarily to take my order: (medium well) steak and (over easy) eggs which was served with a side of hash brown and a choice of toast (English muffin) with your choice of jelly (grape). Most of the food was good but the steak was a little tough; I was practically sawing it. Other than that, service (from Dahlia) was very friendly and efficient; in fact, all the servers and hostesses were super accommodating, the quality of customer service you've come to expect from casino and wished from every other business. Overall, my dining experience was positive, but it would have been better had the steak hadn't been so tough especially since the meal was $30.

We haven't been here in quite a while and sadly my fave Chinese lettuce wraps are no longer on menu However my Road Runner sandwich was still available and still tasty. Breakfast good as well. Server was great - Joe - extremely pleasant, quick and apologetic about menu change. I recommend sitting in his section if possible; you will not be disappointed !

This place is very convenient, especially because it's open late at night. The service is very objective, fast, and straight to the point, which I really appreciate when it is late. The food always comes in great portions and is consistently well made. The Caesar salad with chicken is very good, and the country fried steak is now my favorite dish (this photo is just half of the order). Highly recommend. I just wish I had taken more (and better) pictures to do it justice.

I've been here before and the food is always fantastic! This is so typical of thr 24 hour casino diners. Always great food and good service too. They keep the tables very clean but the bus boy that was vacuuming underneath our table and others around us' was shocking and annoying...it was loud too... I've never had this happen anywhere else, Bad Form!

Purple Parrot at Atlantis was our first stop. We got there around 10:30 pm Friday and seated quickly for 4 people. Spacious interior with a lot of tables and bar seating The menu is huge with something for everyone. I got the veggie omelet with biscuit and hashbrowns. The omelet was nothing special but did the job. Hashbrowns are standard but the biscuit was surprisingly soft and fluffy. They asked if I wanted gravy on top but I declined. My friends liked their 2 burgers and other said milkshake was awesome. The service was good. We came back Saturday night around 1 am and they had a limited menu.

Unfortunately for them and I, our main dining experiences are NOT 5 stars. Today we got the following: Complimentary Starter = Good. Shrimp ceviche. Complimentary Bread = Winner, we all loved the bread and had seconds! More bread than I usually eat when dining out. Sea Bass - 3-4 stars. My wife said she would have liked a little more lobster in her dish. Decent portions. Filet Mignon - Our guest barely ate half of her dish. She usually does NOT order steak?!?! She usually orders fish. But she said it was cooked well to her medium request. Pork Chop - Over cooked. Sub baked potato for $3.50 more. The baked potatoes were small, so they gave two. And baked potatoes were also over-baked. See pictures. Elk Chop - My buddy recommended that I try this. I was thinking between this or my usual ribeye or prime rib. The waiter also said to go for it. Sorry, I regret getting this. My dish was over cooked also. The waiter recommended rare, I asked for Medium rare but I think it came medium... Decent portions, but was not able to finish all my veggies. Lastly, my other buddy got the salmon which was also over cooked. And so small of a portion. Sorry, I got distracted and forgot to take a picture. Complimentary cotton candy for 6 to share?!?! Maybe give us two next time...? Complimentary desserts to-go, which was a perfect pairing to my morning coffee cup. No one had room for dessert. I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon to wash my dinner down. Ambiance - Nice restaurant in the Atlantis Casino Resort. I just noticed a private room surrounded with wine bottles. Next time I will see if we can request that room. Open kitchen. Plenty of casino parking. Service - The bus boy was good. The waiter was okay. Both today and yesterday, I feel that I receive a little attitude when I don't spend enough $$. See my Lake Tahoe Aleworx Yelp review. We are just light eaters (but i'm a heavy drinker, lol). Price - $400 + very generous tip. My buddy is very generous, 25%+ tip. So we all followed in his footsteps. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success.

How's that for an opening. We went to Bistro 7 to celebrate my birthday. We arrived at 5pm, wanting an early dinner. The place was basically empty, with only a couple of other tables occupied. After perusing the menu, orders were placed for both appetizers and mains. The appetizers arrived pretty quickly. I must say the calamari was pretty good, nice batter and the pieces were pretty big. We ordered the tempura green beans. Not my jam. The batter was soggy and the green beans had a waxy taste to them. Not for me. After the appetizers we waited for our mains....and waited.....and waited. We were finally served our main courses, probably 45-50 minutes after we arrived. Remember the restaurant was basically empty. I ordered the Ribeye. There was nothing wrong with my order, my meal was fine but not worth the $47 asking price. The steak was way to thin for a proper Ribeye. My friend ordered the Steak Sandwich. He said that his sandwich was more tendon and gristle than steak. Very unfortunate. Another friend ordered the fish taco's. Completely devoid of any flavor and clearly not worth the price. One of our friends ordered a simple burger but wanted it well done. The first burger was served a very rare. It was sent back. She did not receive her second burger until well over an hour after we first arrived. Everyone was literally done with our meals, before her corrected burger arrived. In fairness, the manager did come over and apologized and did removed the charge for the burger but does it really take so long to correct an order for a burger ? Like I said the wait staff were friendly and were working hard but based on the quality of the food coming out to the kitchen, not to mention the absolutely unacceptable time before our food was delivered, there are FAR better options in Reno.

The atmosphere was great--definitely a place I'd recommend for a date night. Joseph was our server, and he did an excellent job helping me navigate my gluten allergy. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made the ordering process easy. I had the Reno Burger and loved the melted cheese served alongside it--it was such a fun touch. We also ordered the meatballs, and they were outstanding. They were packed with flavor, and the portion size was just right. Between the great service, delicious food, and comfortable atmosphere, we'll definitely be back.

It was just nice to sit down at a table with proper good napkins! The blackened shrimp salad was huge and quite tasty. Shrimp was a tiny over done, but flavor kept me digging in. The fried oyster mushrooms were great! Super crispy and toothsome, the sauce was sticky and oh so good. They stayed crunchy even taking them home. Now, the best part was the last part: ice cream. They had a great choice of flavors, making it hard to decide. So we got a flight with three flavors! The ice cream flights will have us returning for a cool treat any time of year.

Our server was lovely, newer, but kind with a great sense of humor. The food was good. The salmon and red wine reduction was a very strange combo, skip it. The ambience was nostalgic of fine dining in days past with worn but comfortable seating and pleasant atmosphere. Although, having been too many fun dining establishments, the buses need some training. As they reached across us over us and around us to clear plates and serve. Sadly, the night was abruptly ended as the manager came over. And told us we had to leave because he had another table to seat at ours. There are many ways a manager could do this, and yes, we have been there for a little over two hours, enjoying our time, the service was slow, in a way that encouraged taking your time...a fine dining experience, which generally you would think would be unrushed. We ordered drinks, salad, salads, mains, dessert for 4... No split meals, no split tabs. One credit card and a generous tip. We had already paid the bill and were getting ready to go within the next few minutes because we all needed to be home before 8. The manager came over was extremely unkind and rude in his tone and request. He told me, without provocation, didn't care if we gave him a bad review. And two hours was long enough for dinner. We all walked out in silence, aghast at his terrible manners and words. All that to say, diner beware. This man undid a wonderful evening with a few sharp words and extremely awful service and poor manners. Realizing that had he said it nicely, we would've popped right up. We were already ready to go. And that treating your customers -who just spent a few hundred dollars with you - with respect and warmth versus treating them with contempt and rudeness. We will not be back. Not that he cares, but if you're looking for a place to have a leisurely fine meal over the course of a couple hours, this isn't it.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience here from begin to end. The staff was kind and attentive, we had a waitress who sat us down and got us coffee and water, and after that it was uphill from there. We had three other servers stop to ask if we needed anything or wanted to give our order, and once we made up our mind the waiter who helped us did a fantastic job. No pen or notepad, he remembered our order with full detail and not one mess up. As we finished out appetizer, sides, and meal he continued to come by and take our plates, refill our water and my coffee. He was on point. By the end of the meal I paid the bill and gave him a cash tip and thanked him. He seemed happy and thanked us for stopping in and conversing with him. Highly recommend this place to anyone, oh, and the food was on point! Sweet, savory, delicious, and it made me wish there was a place like this back home!
