AYCE hot pot. Weekdays are the best. 12 to 3, $25.99. All you can drink. Lillikoi, Mr. Brown coffee, grass jelly, and other flavors. Given a sheet and check what you want. Be careful, order what you can eat. We tend to go overboard. Everything was fresh. Up to 2 soup selections. Favorites: black fungus, fish balls with roe, taro, liver, tripe, napa cabbage, fish, lamb, tofu, etc. Skip veggie dumplings, herbal chicken feet, Shanghai dumplings - all this will fill you up. Help yourself to sauce station and ice cream station with black sesame, mango, green tea, and red bean. Place was clean. Fast service. Private rooms. Clean restrooms. Will be back to bring others!

I'm already thinking about the next time we go back and I don't even live in the area Our friends brought us here for the first time, they mentioned they love this place and after trying it we understand! We were able to go just in time for their happy hour after 9pm. We got 4 different broths, sides, beef, tofu and veggies! The portions are VERY generous so if you're a couple, choose wisely cause it's A LOT. Love that the rice is unlimited and you serve it yourself as well as sauces, drinks and dessert. I wish I had the room to eat more but I just couldn't do it anymore, sadly. I've been to hot pot before a few times and I feel like this one was so easy to follow and order compared to other places. Can't wait to come back some day!

Recommend coming during happy hour as it is $10 less than dinner. However, there are some dinner only items which you'd miss out on. There are many options such as beef, pork, lamb, seafood, variety of vegetables, noodles, broths, and appetizers

If you're craving hot pot, this is a spot that will bring you back to basics and fill you up! Located in a strip mall in Pacifica, there's plenty of parking and shops/Safeway in the same plaza. We went for lunch on Veteran's Day (which happens to be my aunt's birthday) close to opening time, and there was no wait. You order what you want by marking the paper, and the food comes out quick. Its family style, and you share 1 big pot at your table with up to 2 flavors. Because we came with a group of 4 and it was my aunt's birthday, she got to eat free! They have a solid selection of vegetables, meats, seafoods, and some ready-cooked appetizers. Dome more-expensive seafood/meat items are only available during dinner. They also have a drink fridge for you to have a soda/tea while dining! Overall, a very solid spot to fulfill that craving!

The meat was good , I love the Beef Belly and shrimps. There were many choices and everything was fresh and delicious. The noodles were not soggy and it maintained its bite even though we overcooked it. The beverages are so good, lots of choices and they have my favorite Coca Cola. They had 4 different flavors of ice cream for dessert. The service was slow we were in a Karaoke room and they did not check us for our orders. We really had to call the servers for attention. The Karaoke selection were limited and they did not have a lot of Pilipino Songs.

The service here is a hit or miss but we keep coming back because my family really likes this place. The menu is not super big but it's not small either. There's a good variety. The all you can drink adds a nice touch to the meal. If you show your ID on your exact birthday, you get a free meal!

This is my family's and I favorite hotpot place. We've been going here for a couple of years now and the service and food has been consistently amazing. My favorite thing about this restaurant is the wide selection of sauces you can combine, the fruit section, and the ice cream section. We usually get the house original, house spicy, or house satay. They're all pretty good and not too salty. One thing we never not get is the walnut shrimp! Every time we've been here it's a MUST for us. Not too much batter, crispy, good amount of sauce and walnuts too! It usually gets really busy starting at 7 pm, especially on the weekends so be prepared to wait.

Did AYCE hotpot and karaoke with a big group in the VIP room and it ended up around $57 per person plus tip & tax. Incredible fun experience and love that there were so many options of side dishes on top of the meat and seafood options. They included alcohol as well (sake, beer, wine) so this price seems like a total steal!! Because we were the last group of the night they even gave us an extra hour of karaoke which was super nice! The service was really quick and though they did forget some things we ordered it wasn't a big deal and they brought it right away when we mentioned it! Definitely will be back.

this was round one of what we were eating we did two more rounds after that half portion of the meat cause we didn't wanna waste anything

all you can eat hot pot and they really don't regulate on the hour like that at least not me. I've been going there for a while now since 2019 ish Also on top of that they have karaoke the machines are little hard to work out but as soon as you do that's where the fun start I like to do half portions of meat because they do like to stack it up. My favorite is the soup dumplings. It's included on the menu on top of that. They have free drinks in the fridge, but they're self serve If you're looking for a good Chinese karaoke spot I would definitely recommend the song selection is pretty good but I only like Jay Chou and a few selected other they also have a sauce station as well price wise it's pretty good but the karaoke is a little bit on the heftier side but if you like karaoke just go early and you're gonna have so much fun and did I say to karaoke room are private They have a little ice cream cart as well for flavors mango Matcha black sesame vanilla I wanna say do not quote me on this. That's what I remember from last time. They also have a button in the room so you can call your server without leaving.

It's been too long sInce I've been back here. The quality seems to have improved since the last time I was here. I ordered frog legs too and they were even better than I remembered. We use the house soup for heating the meat and vegetables. The portions also seemed to have improved too. I find restaurants that stay in business tend to either get lose their focus and cut costs and skimp over time or they improve and innovate over time, in this case this hot pot restaurant improved and has gotten a very loyal following. Not bad for a restaurant when you heat your own meal.

Food 4/5 Remember to come during Happy Hour 12-4pm for an unbeatable price of $26 pp. There is a variety of appetizers, broths, meat, and vegetables to choose from. They also have an unlimited beverage section with soy milk, grass jelly, and soda that you wouldn't normally find at other hotpot prices. The meat quality here is not the best but for $26, I think it's worth it if you're just looking to get your hotpot craving satisfied. *make sure you ask for 1 serving for two if you plan to have a variety. The servings here are very very generous. Service 4.5/5 There's less crowd here compared to other hot pot places so it is easier to flag down waiters. Ambiance 5/5 A very spacious restaurant and you won't feel cramp with people next to you. Plenty of space on the table for your food and drinks. Suitable for all party sizes!

I rate this a 3 and a half but I can't choose it so I chose 3. The deals are good, but the food some food are good (like the dumplings) but also some food are bad (not fresh salmon) The service was nice but they came too often (idk is it good or bad) so they service was good but just comes too often. The area was kinda crowded and too loud (maybe the vip area was better?) so yeah maybe I will maybe recommend this restaurant.

Hi it's me again... 4 stars bc unlimited drinks, optional private karaoke room, unlimited ice cream, self-serving rice station, a surplus of appetizers. Living my best life whenever I dine at Grand. The best bang for your buck, and the servers are all super friendly. Some apps I enjoy ordering are the honey walnut prawns, crab rangoons, chili explosion chicken cartilage, and cucumber salad. So many food options!

Do yall hot pot for vegetarians ? What are the options and items that yall offer N price pls

Their options and items are shown in the yelp photos menu Price were 35.99$ per person at night

    Free AYCE on your birthday?

Yes, but you need to show your ID, and eat with a table of 4+ people.

Do they charge a 9 month old infant? If yes, how much? I saw a one star review saying they charge $12.50 per toddler under 2

    No charge for infants!

    Do they serve alcohol?

Yes, at least I know they have beer and sake.

Is there a minimum charge for the karaoke room?

I think there is an additional $5 per person? on top of the price.

If I come in at 10:30 - 10:45pm will they still allow us to dine in? I'm trying to see late night hotpot places. We're arriving SFO at 9:45pm from a domestic flight. I don't want to arrive at your place and be disappointed.

You might want to call them to confirm the time for last seating as it only has little over one hour of dinning time.

Do you still eat for free on the actual day of your birthday if you have 4 or more people?

    Yes! (as of 03/01/2024).

Is there a charge for a child under 2 years old?

No, my boy went there at 3 and they didn't charge him.

Do I have to make reservations for a birthday?

If you are booking one of the karaoke rooms you should definitely call and make a reservation.

How long do you have the karaoke room for (vip room)? I remember it was 3 hours when I went last but it says 90 minutes on the recent photos. Is the 90 minutes only for food/ drinks but you still have the full 3 hours for karaoke?

Yes...90 minutes for food and 3 hrs for karaoke...but start at the same time.

What hotpot soup base do you list recommend? Is it possible to get small taste of them in order to make a decision? And does the whole table have to share the same one?

I don't think they will let you taste (too hectic), but I've never thought of asking. I like the mushroom one because it's plain, so that you can taste the meats. They have a bunch that's spicy, which I don't eat. It depends on the size of your… Read more

Do we need to make a reservation?

If you plan on getting a private room, I would recommend you make a reservation.

For birthday lunch, how many guests I need to bring with me to qualify a free lunch?

There should be 4 in your group to qualify :)

Do the Karaoke rooms have a good collection of English songs?

    Yes

Is there broth choices and options for vegans here, one of my friends is one and was curious if it was worth it for him?

Do we get individual pots of liquid at the table or are these communal pots to dip your meat in per table? Post Covid this sounds a bit strange?

There are several (3?) places to put pots on the table. Each pot can be a 50/50 pot. So the answer is communal, but limited - seating for 10 and at most 6 different bases.… Read more

    Do you allow pets?

    No. It's all indoor dining.

Where do you get your yummy ice cream from?

Whose their supplier or ?? There's a self serve freezer as you walk in on the right, you scoop your own.

Do they accept reservations if it's for 5 people lunch?

    Yes

    Is outdoor dining available again?

no there is not, but you can rent the room for extra $5.00 per person. I think if you have a large party. We had 12ppl.

It's AYCE and located near the beach by a little shopping area in Pacifica. Beautiful area. The hosts greeted us with their great smile and sat us down right away. We chose the BBQ pot (half bbq to grill your meats and soup like shabu). I had the coconut pork bone soup and my hubby had the mushroom soup. Both were very tasty and the spice was spot on. They had a variety of meat choices and yes prime beef ribeye! You can either grill it or drop it on your soup. You can also create your condiments to dip your grilled meats. The rib eye, beef belly, pork belly were my favorites. You can tell the meats were of high quality and were fresh. You only need to grill the rib eye medium rare and wow it's amazingly delicious!!! Also they have a wide variety of appetizer, vegetable, seafood, tofu, I can go on! The Kalbi ribs as one of the appetizer was one of the best Kalbi I ever had. The marinate was sooo yummy and the meat was tender! The service was also amazing! They checked on us constantly and our orders came so quickly, it was unbelievable. Yes we were stuffed and happy! The green tea ice cream at the end cleansed our palette and it was a great dessert to end the meal. Afterwards we walked a few steps and the view of the beach was mesmerizing! This place is one of the best grilled and shabu place I have ever been. Wish we had one like this in SF, but the scenic drive to Pacifica is worth coming here. Mark this restaurant in your bucket list as a must try. You will not regret it!

Our reservation was at 7pm and the restaurant started to fill up. It's not that big inside, but they also have a few tables outside. Each person had their own burner, but since I was sitting at the end, I had to share it with my mom. Not a big deal since I always like the broth that she ordered. All of us ordered half hot pot/skillet, so we can enjoy both types of cooking. I liked that one person was in charge of ordering for their group to minimize confusion and multiple orders. The food came out quickly for us to cook. I really enjoyed the New Zealand Lamb and all the vegetables. I wasn't a big fan of the sauces that we were able to customize at the sauce station since they were just normal Asian sauces. Overall a great place to come for AYCE. The price was also reasonable - $41.99 per person for 90 minutes. There is free parking available since it's located in a plaza. Our family had a great time which is all that matters.

They have a fridge with an assortment of drinks from juice to tea to soda, it's so nice to be able to go and grab what drink you want. they also offer ice cream and other dessert type snacks like rice krispies, lollipops for the kids, chips which I thought was awesome and by ice cream I mean they had full sized drumstick assortment of flavors and butterfinger icecream!! like what!! the sushi they offer is a range of sashimi to sushi rolls and to handrolls. it was pretty damn good. my boyfriend enjoyed the salmon avocado handrolls and I enjoyed the salmon poke option...so delicious. for the meats for the hot pot they had a variety of options from pork belly, wagyu, lamb, shrimp and etc. they even offered appetizers dishes like my bf ordered pork gyozas.... the place is not huge but it's comfortable enough. the tables/seats aren't crowded. the staff is friendly enough although it being our first time I was a little uncertain of what we can get or what was included, I wish there was a little more direction but we made it by.

Shabu Shabu / Hot Pot…read more They do offer a nice variety of broth options, but the one we chose (the tomato broth) was pretty underwhelming. It lacked depth and flavor and honestly tasted more like tomato concentrate/paste than an actual tomato-based soup. I also didn't see any real tomato in it -- mostly thinly sliced onions -- and it didn't compare to tomato broths I've had at places like Haidilao or Happy Lamb. The meat quality was also disappointing. It felt low quality enough that we actually asked if we were served the correct meat. We ordered around six plates but only received four, and the selection felt limited. I know their A5 Wagyu is now an add-on/paywall, which is understandable given the low AYCE price -- but the standard meat still didn't feel worth it. On the positive side: the veggies were clean, crisp, and fresh. The only exception was the pea sprouts, which didn't seem properly prepped and felt a bit veiny (though I get that pea sprouts are labor-intensive). Hot Pot Bar / Seafood Bar We didn't try the fish balls/ramen options, but the seafood bar was rough. If you don't order seafood from the menu and instead grab what's at the bar, it's very heavily frozen and not in a good way. The shrimp was honestly unpleasant -- even after cooking in boiling broth, the shell still stuck to the shrimp, making it hard and annoying to peel. It wasn't a fun eating experience at all. Sushi The sushi side was mixed. One thing I appreciated: they didn't overload the rolls with rice (some AYCE places do that to fill you up). The salmon sashimi was solid, and a few rolls were genuinely decent -- the Lion King roll was tasty. That said, the unagi was a bit bony, which wasn't what I expected. And the biggest red flag: on the Lion King roll, 2-3 pieces of the baked salmon were still raw inside, which was a no for me. Hand rolls were actually better -- they came with a good chunk of avocado and decent fish portions, so no complaints there. Sides The corn cheese was a huge letdown. It tasted like corn with mozzarella sprinkled on top and microwaved/baked without much effort or flavor. We also ordered the fried oysters, which were decent but didn't taste fresh -- they felt like they came frozen in a bag and refried, with a heavier batter than I'd want. The chicken karaage, on the other hand, was pretty good. It actually tasted like it was made in-house, and it was one of the better items we tried. Overall For the price, I wasn't expecting premium, but I was expecting decent execution and better quality control. Between the bland tomato broth, low-quality meat, unpleasant frozen seafood, and the undercooked "baked" salmon, I left feeling disappointed. Also worth noting: if you have a party of 4 or more, they automatically add a minimum 20% gratuity. For our party of four, that came out to about $32 per person. Personally, I wouldn't recommend Shoryuken, and I wouldn't return.

All their food is incredibly fresh. The broths are also super flavorful. My favorite is the house spicy broth. If you have kids, they'll love the miso broth. Kids will also love how all the ingredients are served up via a train that snakes its way through the restaurant. You just grab whatever you want and start cooking. Make sure you put your name down on the wait list as soon as you can, as this restaurant will fill up super fast and the wait can get very long - often well over an hour at peak times.
