Great service. Truly a lifesaver. My sister had dropped her glasses and we didn't notice, fortunately we found them but they had been run over by a car. Later that day we decided to stop by Grand Optical and we asked if they could fix them and they said yes. After a week or so, maybe a little before we went to pick them up, they looked good as new. Saved me tons of money, the glasses were especially made for my sister who is 3 and it would've been so much more money if I had gone to the company who made them, but luckily Grand Optical did it for less which was great. I have had 2 pairs of prescription glasses (reading & distance) made at Grand Optical in the past couple of weeks. One of my frames was a screwless IC! Berlin, with an unusual hinge mechanism; it wasn't a problem. Both lenses were done perfectly...the axis for astigmatism was spot on. My glasses were done in two days, and the price was about significantly less than what most optometrists charge. Rene is wonderful and good-natured; he takes the time to explain the various options (e.g., anti-reflective coatings). Grand Optical is a diamond in the rough. This place is AMAZING !!!!!!!! My glasses broke and I tried to fix them but I failed. I needed glasses ASAP. I was freaking out because i needed glasses to drive. I looked online and found some place in Fullerton but the shop was closed. I did another google search and found this shop! Rene was able to fix my glasses in about 4-5 minutes ! I asked Rene for prices for a new pair and he gladly and patiently showed me. I liked a pair but not the color, he told me he might have some in the back. He showed me 2 pairs and I chose one. He told me to come back in 30-40 mins. 30-40 mins later my glasses were ready ! I walked in with broken glasses and came back home with my old ones repaired and NEW GLASSES at very very affordable price ! Rene YOU ARE AWESOME !! Definitely recommending friends ! He's very very honest ! CHECK THIS PLACE OUT. I saved a lot of $$$ OH YES, LOVE HOW THEY TAKE SOCIAL DISTANCING AND PANDEMIC VERY SERIOUSLY. Long overdue but I came here a couple years ago because I was desperate to find a place that could replace custom gradient color lenses, as my glasses were completely scratched. Chanel couldn't even help me with this request-- I was hopeless. Grand Optical said yeah, no problem! They re-created the purple gradient color perfectly and the glasses looked brand new. I have to say this place is awesome it's not your typical optometrist shop it's more like a little factory of lenses in the back and in the front it set up as a display for frames and there's a lot to choose from the best thing about this place is after the great and personal service by the owner (I can't remember his name) is the price ! I walked in mid day with a defect on the edge of my lens thinking i may have to replace it but thanks to the fact that the place is a mini factory with all the right equipment and tools he took my glasses to the back telling me he can shave a very minimal amount of each side of the frame and with that take off the defective edge in last then 15 min he was back with my glasses that looked like new! I asked him what's the damage? money wise ? When he respond $20 I was amazed! He solved a problem that anywhere else i probably would need to replace the lenses. I also like the frames in the front so I asked him how much will he charge me for a pair with all the possible additions and the price he gave me was half price then anywhere else !
