I recently came in for a recall repair and was initially stressed out when I learned that no loaner vehicles were available. But any frustration I felt was quickly eased thanks to Jeremy Sanchez, the service manager, who went above and beyond to turn the situation around. Not only did the team address the recall, but they also found and fixed a nail in my tire and handled a few other concerns--all quickly, professionally, and without hassle. What really sets McGrath apart is the level of care and communication. Jeremy took the time to listen to all of my concerns, acknowledged how inconvenient being without a car can be, and actually took meaningful action to make things right. It's rare to find a service manager who is both approachable and effective--but Jeremy is just that. I'm so grateful to have a reliable, trustworthy point of contact for my car service needs. This experience reminded me why I keep coming back to Honda--and now, specifically, to McGrath City Honda.

I just bought my chevy trax in June, so I haven't had it long. Long store short. I took my trax in for a oil change, tire rotation on Saturday. Everything went ok until today I notice my car is pulling to the right when it was doing that before I took it to them, secondly I have the chevy app on my phone and I notice it keeps saying tire is low on the driver side which that wasn't happening and it still is saying that. Lastly I called the dealership and explain to then what was going on and he tells me so mess that didn't sit right with me and tell sme that they can't and their not taking any appointments because they have a new system. I told him I want my car fixe like it was before bought it too them. I hate going to new people because it always seem like they mess up something else so now I have to wait a week to bring it back in for them to fix what they messed up

Robert was the first face I saw and he was able to show me a version of the car I wanted since they didn't have the exact version I wanted. I left having exchanged contact information and him letting me know that he would let me know when something arrived that fit what I was looking for. The next day he let me know that something had arrived overnight that fit what I was looking for and we scheduled a test drive for today. While I hadn't planned on purchasing today, I couldn't resist. I'm sure it was a combination of my being ready, his savvy salesmanship, but also his in-depth knowledge of what I was looking for and the features of the car. I did come in with trade in options and negotiated on that end. It did take a long time, but it's been about 10 years since I last purchased a car so who knows if that's typical. I had my son with me and Robert interacted with him as well and asked what he thought about the vehicle which made the experience even more special considering the last time I bought a car, I was eight months pregnant with him. I can't speak to the service area, but I will update when it comes time to get my vehicle serviced for an oil change or anything else should I need it, but for now I would definitely look for Robert for any of your sales needs if you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, kind, and listens to your concerns.     Went to get my car in on Monday for supposedely just an oil change but it so happen that the check…read moreengine light was on again as it does sporadically in the past few years, an issue i had with my 2019 Kona that i have brought up many times before to the dealer with no resolution (code 50700)... Anyway, so i brought the car around 9:30 am, was assigned to a service advisor Thomas, dropped the car off and received a link to an online tracker that does a poor job updating the status of the car. Tracker had not moved from "arrival" until around 1pm with a laundry list of services amounting to $3K. I of course declined all of them except for the oil change service i went there for. I made a plan of taking it somewhere to get those services as the price would be less that at the dealer's. Then i got a call from the service advisor Thomas who persuaded me to do 3 of the myriad services on the list, as these were the reasons for the engine light. I hesitantly and regretfully said yes. Thomas informed me to give him 2 hours to get the services done and never head from him ever again. Went to the dealer around the time i was told the car woud be ready, around 3:30pm and i waited patiently in that lounge for 3 more hours with no Thomas checking on me nor updating me via text/call. The online tracker says service still "in progress" so i kept waiting. At 4:15 pm i texted them about the status of my car, and got no reply. I realized the text i initally received from them with an online traicker is not something you can reply to. I called around 5:15pm, no reaponse, left a message. It was around 5:55 pm, i was the only person left in that lounge, when i went outside to get some air, when i saw my car parked outside. So i went in to look for Thomas, but was told by the attendant guy on the service desk that Thomas left but would be back in 2 minutes. I told him my car is outside and asked if it was ready. The guy said to wait for Thomas. So i went back to the lounge until 6:25 pm when i noticed staff clocking out for the day. Went back to the service area where most lights were turned off already. The inattentive attendant guy on the desk from earlier was just sitting there watching videos on his phone, and i asked him again where the heck was my service advisor. I told him my car has been sitting outside for over an hour now and Thomas was nowhere to be heard or found. Guy hastily called Thomas and it turned out, my car had been ready all this time. Paid $$$ for the services i was bamboozled to, just to get rudely ignored and receive the crappiest customer service, no apologies or acknowledgement for their non-communication and negligence. So much for their department being called a Service Department. What i went through in spite of my patience was a disservice from McGrath Hyundai. They employ negligent service agent who seemed to only call you to bamboozle you into getting add on $ervices$, and inattentive staff who are busy on their phones while on the clock, than tending to their customers. Lesson learned. This was a stab in the heart. I will not be bringing my car there for service. And oh, to drive the knife deeper, check engine light went back on after driving 30 miles post-service. And that stupid useless tracker still says service in progress. Do better McGrath Hyundai.
