Typical Chinese buffet. Ok if you crave multiple things and don't want to pay high bill. I came here Wednesday around 6pm. Restaurant wasn't full and I got seats right away. Staff quickly brings out drink and cleans plates. I tried probably almost half of the food. Some are okay, some are dry and hard to chew. Food is warm, not hot. The highlight is sushi bar: fresh and decent flavor. Lots of food has no label so you play guessing game. Restaurant is clean. I paid around $18 per person without drink and tax.

The service charge (that the manager said was a tip) and the receipt showing them asking for another tip.

Warning, Warning, Everyone be alert, I went there with my family to eat, when I received the bill (I had given the waitress a $25 tip already) I noticed a #17 service charge. I asked her what this was for and she said because we had more then 6 people. I went and asked to speak to the manager, a young and rude young man tells me that they charge everyone a service charge who have more then 6 people because sometimes people don't tip. so they charge a service charge, I told him that I gave the waitress $25 and if I should ask for my money back, being that they are automatically charging a tip and he said go ahead. On top of the charge, they ask for another tip when you get your receipt. I asked that where is a sign saying that they charge a service charge for tables with more than 6 people, and he said that they did not have to display it. The city needs to investigate this place for fraudulent practices and charging extra, in my opinion illegally.

This place was amazing! The ham was in a puddle of water. Just how I like it! The pudding was watery and the claims were amazing! The smell of the restaurant brought me back to when my mom would cook Chinese food for me as a child! 5/5 would recommend

I have been here many times on the weekend never had a issue. 5 of us went today and I was disgusted it wasn't even left over quality the food was cold and old. The customer service was horrible and no one bothered to ask how the food was when they took our plates away full. I have a video of a sugar dough ball that was so hard it sounded like wood

I took friends there, the waitresses were stone-faced and unpleasant and a few of my friends had diarrhea afterwards.

And it's the nicest place to eat in the casino. It's fairly expensive at $21.95 for dinner per person. You get $3 off that with your Lucky North card, and I also had an offer on my card for another $7 off. We also cashed in our points that were on our card to save a few more dollars, so we paid $30 total for the two of us, with non alcoholic drinks included. I'm vegetarian, and there's a lot of options for me. Off the top of my head, there's pizza, garlic sticks, salad, macaroni salad, soft pretzel sticks, fried mac and cheese, baked potatoes, rolls, spring rolls, and a make your own pasta station. Now, of all of that, the macaroni salad and the pretzel stick were good. The rest was just ok. There was also pimento macaroni and cheese, but I really didn't like that. And I didn't do the pasta station this time, but that is usually good. Like all buffets, it changes, so everything isn't available each time you go. On the dessert bar, there is an Oreo pie that I really like. I usually go get that first to make sure I get a piece, lol. Of the whole buffet, that is the one thing that I truly like. Everything is ok, but nothing is amazing. The pie is really good though. My husband is not vegetarian, and he is really why we come here. There's a much bigger selection for him, and I know he had prime rib. That was probably all he needed to be happy. :) I just found out that they have a brunch until 3pm on the weekends. I would prefer that, so we'll try to go earlier and get brunch next time.

The tables weren't being cleared off and staff were walking in and out of the kitchen without taking in any dirty dishes. People were piling their plates on tables that were empty but not cleared. On my most recent visit, during lunch time with friends, we all had the all-you-can-eat buffet, which is a great value at $13.99 (current price). The woman serving us was very generous with the portions and also made sure we had plenty of injera bread to eat with it (though there is also rice on the buffet if you prefer.) Although I don't know the names of any of the things I ate, there were mild and spicy options, several kinds of lentils, a kind of pureed chickpea dish, sauteed/braised greens and two kinds of mixed veggies - one with carrots and one with cabbage. Although the buffet is all-you-can-eat, we were all stuffed and just managed to eat what we were served. A few side notes: -- Hours here on Yelp say they open at 11 am which is incorrect. They open at 12 pm each day of the week. -- There is street parking and in this section of the city, it is still free! -- Seating in the front room inside can accommodate approx 20 people. On the day we visited, we were a group of 4, and several singles came in, and two other groups of 4, and the place was packed -- There are also several meat options on the buffet; if you want the meat the buffet price increases by $1 -- Beverages are all in bottles - water, sodas, etc -- This place uses disposable paper plates and plastic cutlery -- Don't forget to ask about the samosas! They have a veggie one and a meat one, and though we forgot and were too full, they looked and smelled amazing!

There are no gloves for utensil sharing and no plastic protections to prevent snotty six year olds from sneezing all over the dining options. The clearest giveaway should have been that the place was dead empty at peak dining hours on a Friday evening in a crowded strip mall on a main road in Henrietta. It was almost creepy. The weirdly-placed chandeliers and oddly-stained carpet only added to the eerie atmosphere. The food was pretty bad. Nobody goes to a Chinese buffet for an authentic Chinese experience, and I understand that. I've never been to China but I would imagine they don't serve garlic bread, pizza, chickie nuggies, California rolls or jello cubes as part of a traditional dinner. What upset me was the poor quality of all my Americanized Asian classics. The fried rice? Terrible. Lo mein? No where to be found. Sweet n sour chicken? No thank you. Dumplings? HOW DO YOU MESS UP DUMPLINGS?!?!? There was a large vat of egg drop soup that had physically congealed and solidified. I was disgusted. At 20 dollars per head, China Buffet is a massive waste of time, money, and calories. There is absolutely no reason for me to ever set foot in this "establishment" again, and I truly hope they do Monroe a favor and shut down soon.

We had barely finished eating and weren't planning to linger but apparently finishing our drinks and chatting for five minutes was a bit too much for him. He told us that there were customers waiting and that we had to leave. I might note that there were a few empty tables at that time but even if there weren't that poor behavior was uncalled for. We won't be going back to Chen's.
