One of the things I enjoy about working in a new area is trying new places to eat. It was one of those Explorations that led me today to Grand Wok. The Great Wok is a place where you can get quick food already prepared by going down a cafeteria style mine and picking your entrees. Their prices are fairly reasonable you get fried rice or lo mein along with one entree for $5.50 or two entrees for $6.50 or three entrees for $7.95. They have a fairly decent selection of freshly prepared foods and I'm cold enough staff to serve you quickly. For my first visit today I got the sesame chicken with lo mein as well as the broccoli shrimp. Both dishes you were very good but I do believe that I preferred the sesame chicken. The broccoli shrimp was good but it was a little over cooked and the shrimp were a little rubbery. The sesame shrimp is prepared nicely and remade crispy even with the sauce that it was in. I certainly will look forward to coming back and trying some of their additional dishes.

Omg this is a hidden gem super nice. There was a line out the front door. I knew were at the right place. The food was fresh and delicious very reasonably priced. By the way they give way too much food for the money

Not the best. But super addictive. For the price hard to get a meal equivalent to this! This is action and flavor packed! Not the best or a culinary masterpiece but will fill you up and have you smiling WM while you lick your fingers at the end.

This hidden GEM is absolutely delicious! The best tasting food I've had in the area!! The portion to price point ratio is very generous. Food was fresh and hot, did I mention delicious? A bang for your buck and taste buds! Also the chilli sauce they include is tasty! Overall I am very impressed and I'm a hard critic. If you're in the area or just looking for some good delicious food, please stop here, you won't be disappointed!

The best sesame chicken in DFW area. With very reasonable prices. Not a fan of the rice or noddles. The chicken makes up for it.

As we were waiting, we noticed that 4-5 tables were done eating and paid their bills. All got up and left, the staff quickly cleaned the tables. The cleaned tables were empty for another 15 minutes. The lady that took our names down took a while to call the next customers. Seems like we were waiting just to wait...she sat one party down and waited another 10 minute to sit the next group... anyways, after we waited for a good 40 minutes, we were finally called to be seated. Sat down and was immediately served with water and took our order down. Time for the food review: Chicken popcorn - nice crisp and texture, but lacking flavor. Felt like it needed a dipping sauce. Pork lard rice - disappointing, bland Pork intestine with green mustard - this dish was okay.. Crispy garlic salted fish - fish was nicely fried and flavor was good. Probably the best dish so far Crispy pork chop - this is the reason why we came here.. we wanted to find a dish like May Ice cream. Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment. The pork chop was extremely salted. From the skin to the pork itself. Walnut shrimp - this dish was foul. Who puts sprinkles on the side?! Tasted like I was eating an ice cream shop. The shrimp was also dry. Overall, not worth going and waiting. Food was lacking.

Came during the soft opening in September 2025 with excited expectations based on what we've heard, hoping to find a new go to Taiwanese spot. Unfortunately we didn't find what we were looking for. I admit this was the soft opening and things may improve, and for their sake I hope they do. Biggest issues for us were lack of flavor in the meat and multiple proteins being overcooked. The sauces they used had the flavor but it seems like the meat just wasn't given the time to marinate because the meat itself was bland. That coupled with proteins being a bit dry from being overcooked and you don't have a good combo. If they can tweak their prep process to let the meat marinate then it would solve most of the problems though. The best dish was the fried pork chop rice by far. A bit on the sweeter side so it just depends on how you like it. The bok choy it came with was basically raw though had more crunch than the pork chop. Service was also a mixed bag. The server was super nice and helped give us recs but it just seemed like they were still getting the hang of working in a restaurant. A glass of water got some food in it so the server took it away but they never brought us a new one. Again, soft opening so I give that some grace, but food has to be more on point for a new restaurant to make it. So all in all, there are definitely some kinks to work through for them. Normally I wouldn't write a review for soft opening but given that there are old reviews here plus food quality missed the mark more than I think it should've, I think people on Yelp should get a heads up.

This place is absolutely made for a group outing, and we're already planning to come back with a group to take full advantage. The food was a delight. The Singapore noodles had this wonderful curry flavor that I absolutely loved, and the combo fried rice was just as satisfying. We also ordered the Peking duck (P1 on the menu). It was good, though not quite as flavorful on its own as we'd hoped. That said, once you load it up with the hoisin, cucumber, and spring onions, it all comes together beautifully. The bao buns that came with it were soft and delicious, honestly a highlight. We also sipped on hot jasmine tea throughout, which was the perfect, refreshing complement to the whole meal. A solid spot with great vibes, tasty dishes, and room to grow on us even more with a return visit.

The bbq pork and roasted pork was okay. The bbq pork was lacking flavor and the roasted pork was not very juicy. Overall, we liked majority of our dishes.
