Where to start. Probably with the best thing which is the sushi. And yes it's included with the price of the buffet. And it's not a crappy 2 rolls set out with all the other buffet dishes. It has it's own section complete with a live sushi chef in the sushi chef outfit! There's about 15 options and it all looks immaculate. The other food is good too, but I stick mostly with the sushi. Like all buffets, its best to hit it around 11am otherwise you're getting cold leftover crap from lunch. Plus the price goes up after 3 anyway so an early lunch here is really the way to go. Also try the soft serve ice cream and the coffee cake for dessert. Yum. Lastly, the service is great and it's one of the cleaner buffets. Don't let the unhappy reviewed scare you off. Perfect spot for cheap Chinese food Unless you have your sights set on gourmet, above-average Chinese food, this place will definitely satisfy your Chinese craving! The thing that always keeps my husband and I coming back is their drive-thru and cheap prices. We each get one of the drive-thru specials which includes soup, a crab Rangoon, an egg roll, two meats (or double of one), and fried rice. I don't care for soup so I always substitute another crab Rangoon for it. For all that food, we only pay $10. Can't get much better than that for a cheap meal for two. It's a buffet so expecting top quality food is foolish. With that being said, it was fresh and warm and rather tasty. The selection was much larger than other Chinese based buffets I have been too. The salad bar was well stocked. The service was decent. Very reasonable priced. read more

Probably not worth your time unless you like eating crappy food. The only thing I didn't try was the sushi which was probably a smart choice considering the quality of everything else. The best thing there was probably the desert and salad bar. This is one step up from Burger King. read more

Large amount of seating compared to local competition. Fairly clean environment and average food quality for a buffet. The price was a plus, two adults and two children with four waters was $29 on a Friday night. It probably beats anything in Belton or Raymore from what I've seen but I can't speak for Grandview read more

Honestly if I could rate this place with half a star I would. I will say that the buffet is clean and I guess that's better than nothing. Personally I went there for the sushi and I guess I'm to blame for expecting great sushi from a buffet. The regular buffet items were dry and overcooked. At the end of my visit I spoke with a staff member and they told me to come earlier, next time....absolutely not. My recommendation is to venture somewhere else, like fusion or mama garden. Was scared to eat the food just from looking at it... everything is watered down, the fish on the sushi was turning brown, everything had a sort of crust over it. I finally decided to just stick to fried rice when I then found a hair on my plate. Won't be returning. read more

This was one of the worst Chinese buffets i've been to in a while, although the green beans were okay all the chicken me and my friends tried was either very dry or soggy and everything was bland. The noodles had no taste the egg drop soup smelled funky and half the food was cold. If you're very hungry it can suffice but i wouldn't chose to eat here again. read more

Excellent service, food is tasty. Reasonable prices, and the atmosphere is very peaceful. Spring rolls are very salty though :/.

We ate here this evening.probably the worst Chinese I've ever ate.chicken wings,spring rolls an egg rolls were so way over cooked.nothing had any flavor pretty bland.egg drop and hot sour soup was watered down that it was gross.the shrimp was not deveined.nothing like gritty sand in your mouth.the only thing they had going for them was the service and the place was clean.this Chinese wasn't worth the price thy charged.the people who give this place a good rating apparently have never ate good Chinese.i'll never eat here again. read more

I absolutely will not be returning to this restaurant. Tonight an older gentlemen and three younger children were enjoying their meal at a booth next us. It came to our attention the eldest child had a mental disorder and was making incoherent noises that he could not control at a high volume. We did not bother us nor the other customers ,until, a couple was seated in close proximity and asked to be reseated because of the "Noise" . To make matters worse the owner came up the older gentlemen can asked him to make his child be quiet or else he would be forced to leave the restaurant. I am applauded and extremely sadden. This older gentlemen was trying to enjoy a normal meal, but that was not possible because people can't seem to be compassionate. My only regret was A) not defending him and B) not paying for his meal, and for that I am sorry. read more

First off this review would have NO stars if that were possible. This place was disgusting. Cooks from the back came out to check the bar and used one pair of tongs to stir several pans of various foods. Ad he did so, I watched food hit his un-gloved hand and land back on and get mixed back into the pan he was stirring. The crab Rangoon was so saturated with grease the shell was difficult to pull apart-as if it had been sitting there for quite some time. The texture of the meat used in at least 4 of the dishes my husband and I tried was spongey. I only ate a third, at best of my one plate I got and my husband who can eat almost anything ate perhaps 3/4 of his 2 plates all together. On top of that the bill was unbelievably high and within the 10 min trip (max) it took us to get home he felt his stomach begin to cramp up. No thanks Grandview! But to be fair we should have known better seeing as it is a Grandview city establishment. read more

I have not dined in yet, but the drive-thru experience is great. Premises are clean and from what I could see the inside looked clean. Menu was full of options, but easy to read and understand. Employee at drive-thru was friendly and clean. Chicken fried rice and sesame chicken portions were hefty. Sushi came with wasabi and pickled ginger. All food was very tasty and seemed fresh and made to order. read more

The food is barely average with hardly any flavor, and not much variety. Sometimes when I go the food at the buffet is dry from being out too long. Its the only Chinese buffet in Grandview, so I guess there's not much incentive for them to step up their game. There are better places to go for a good Chinese buffet within driving distance so I won't be back. read more
