They sold me a new tire, and after the cost of the tire and installation, it was about $275. I advised the service person who assisted me that I was turning this leased car in, in approximately 5 months. He continued to tell me that all my other tires were "terrible" and that I should get every tire replaced because it's likely that the leasing company will require it or "ding" me if I turn the car in with bad tires. Mind you, there is only 33,000 miles on this car, and of the 10 vehicles I have leased in the past 20 years, not once have I ever been dinged for tires or required to replace the tires. Throughout his consult with me, the service attendant kept trying to get to me get all new tires...I mean, come on guy, read the room! I don't want or need all new tires for a car I am going to turn in soon! He told me that they would get the tire on and have me out in 30 minutes, and that they would put the spare tire back in it's holding cavity underneath my hatchback floor and I could be on my way. They did indeed get me on my way in about 37 minutes. About a mile from leaving the establishment, my tire pressure monitor tells me that the new tire has 26 lbs of pressure in it. However, the other three tires on my car are set at 35 lbs of pressure. Huh? Why didn't they fill it to 35 lbs to match the other tires? That evening, I stopped at Kroger to purchase groceries, and when I lifted my hatchback to load them into the back, there it was: the spare tire and all of its parts and screws, not put back away as I was assured it would be. Frustrating! Come on people, deliver what you say you would deliver! Good points about this establishment is very courteous customer service and speedy service. Bad points are described above. My car drives noticeably rougher and I need to investigate if I should fill my "new tire" with 35 lbs of pressure to match the other tires.

John is a fast, friendly and honest mechanic. He changed my '05 Ram 1500's brake rotors (and, obviously, pads), and a leaking power steering fluid cooler. Even better, he did so in about 3 hours on a Saturday. On top of that that, he did the job for about half of what the Dodge dealer was asking (my wife) for. Also, he didn't try to rip me off with an up-sell, even though the opportunity was there...he correctly identified a few other issues (that actually were known issues). He mentioned these issues, but didn't try to pressure me to have them addressed at this time. I purchased a used 2022 GMC Terrain (24,576 miles) from The Nice Car Company on December 30, 2025…read more The vehicle was advertised as having passed a "100-point inspection." Within one month (January 26, 2026), the check engine light came on. Diagnosis: codes P0137 and P0500 -- O2 sensor replaced. On March 2, the check engine light returned with code P0500. At that time, the spark plugs were found to be fouled and black. Repairs included replacing the plugs, cleaning the fuel injection and throttle body, performing relearns, and adding fuel cleaner. By March 17 -- just 2.5 months after purchase and only ~1,300 miles driven -- the check engine light came on for a third time. I took the vehicle to a GMC dealership, where they diagnosed fouled spark plugs and an issue with cylinder 4. I was then informed the vehicle is experiencing engine failure and requires a complete engine replacement. For a low-mileage 2022 vehicle, this type of engine failure is unacceptable. I returned to the dealership after the second repair to request an exchange or refund and was dismissed. I was told "check engine lights come on all the time" and advised to continue driving the vehicle. After emailing to request a meeting with the owner, I received a phone call but was given the same response. I was told I had not taken the vehicle to the "correct" mechanic -- despite using a repair facility listed on their own website as approved for the extended warranty I purchased. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend getting an independent pre-purchase inspection and carefully reviewing the vehicle history before purchasing. I would not recommend The Nice Car Company due to this experience with engine failure and poor customer service.
