Did his work and even took time to answer my questions. Within two weeks GMD called back to set the installation date. Two men came out and within 35 minutes the countertop was installed, grouted, and all debris removed. The countertop is beautiful and sets off the bathroom perfectly. We hired them to finish our basement and upgrade our…read morestairwell and they did a terrible job. among other things, they framed a doorway but left 8" shims on the inside which support it, they trimmed a stairwell but it's not level nor did they finish a bottom edge, the baseboards don't meet at the corners/edges, a scuttle doorway was finished on the outside sans door knobs but it's all raw edged drywall on the inside, they hung doors but didn't provide door knobs, etc., etc. In addition, they didn't come prepared and had no idea what was going on when they got here. If I had more energy and time, I should have sued them. Instead I'm writing this post so you don't make the same mistake we did. I got hardwood floors refinished in family room/kitchen after damage from an ice dam and also…read moredecided to get Pergo LVT in the Powder room. The PR came out nicer than I expected! Bill, the sales rep, made a great recommendation with the LVT and our experience with him along with the helpful office staff were the bright spots of the experience and is the reason why I mustered up 3 stars. The hardwood floors came out - just "okay." The areas that got damaged are nice and smooth. Two polyurethane coats - applied all in the same day - a couple hours in between coats - left a shine about the same as the rest of the floors in the house that didn't get refinished. Beware - you probably should expect more dust than typical and the need to discard open food items with dust in it. The crew did an awful job in my case with prepping and apparently didn't wrap a single cabinet or appliance before sanding the floors. Landmark provided a discount acknowledging the mess which was appreciated. Aside from days of dust clean-up (in between working) and re-buying groceries items, Landmark did the job I paid them to do (the floor is repaired and the PR floor is installed) but unfortunately I'm just not up for the dust cleanup again in the future.

Our kitchen was in need of a face lift after we built our home in 1998. The kitchen cabinet doors…read morewere warped and the hinges, knobs and handles were badly worn. But the cabinets themselves were in perfect condition since we upgraded them to birch instead of oak during construction. I had been researching getting just new doors and after many quotes it seemed impossible. Many of the companies that quoted us told us that we needed a full remodel which would be in the $50k range. Finally I found Custom Wood Cabinet Refacing and connected with Ray Liston. He asked me for pictures and after setting an appointment he came out with some door samples. The doors were exceptionally well made. We chose the honey maple with glazing to get a 2 dimensional effect with the existing birch cabinets. I ordered the cabinets in April and installation day was June 16th. Prior to that Ray came back with a sample door to make sure I was happy. Then I had the task of finding new knobs and handles which I decided to play up the stainless trim on my appliances and my stove. On installation day some drawer fronts were missing but Jack quickly acted on this and completed the job...less than one week later. To say that we are happy is an understatement. It has given our kitchen the facelift it needed and with the lighting and granite countertops we installed this year you can now see the beauty of the kitchen!! Run to this company and save yourself money!!! If you have imagination and want to give your kitchen a facelift at a fraction of what a new kitchen costs you have found the right company.
