What a great find! A Greek restaurant only minutes from Six Flags New England. Located in Longmeadow in what we thought was a residential area. After driving through a road of beautiful homes, the road opened up to a commercial area and we found the restaurant located in a little plaza. The parking was a little difficult at the time we showed up, but I was able to squeeze into one of the two spots available. Once in the restaurant, we waited only a minute before the hostess showed up to seat our party of four. The kids chose a plain hamburger and fries and a turkey club. I chose a spanakopita with a Greek salad, and my cousin ordered a veggie pizza with feta. We were served some warm bread and butter while we waited. Our food was served quickly and all of us were impressed with the presentation and portion sizes. My meal was delicious, but I wasn't able to finish my spanakopita. My cousin was quick to scoop up my leftovers and throw it into his pizza box. I am hoping to get back here soon. I would love to try the moussaka and grape leaves. read more

Came with my grandparents who wanted to take me out for dinner. We have a mutual friend who comes regularly and highly recommended it. I really wanted to grade them on their pizza but wasn't feeling it today. I went with a cup of clam chowder and parmesan crusted pork chops. Chowder was ok, had better had worse. Pork chops were better than good. Moist bite with that crisp crust. Roasted potatoes that came with the dinner were ok, needed some seasoning and or butter. I wanted no part in ordering dessert (was beyond tired and wanted to get home and go to bed) but my grandmother ordered the oreo pie which the couple bites I had I know I would have enjoyed it all to myself. Had good service. Our waitress at the bar was very polite and catered to our needs. I would certainly recommend getting reservations as it was packed and the online orders were flying out the door. Last night my husband and I dined at The Grapevine on Maple Rd. We've gotten plenty of pizzas from there in our 4 months since moving here, but this was our first time eating there and it was jammed!!! That tells me that the food is good, with so many people willing to wait for a table. We chose to sit at the bar for our meal because I was starving and I'm so glad we did! I got to witness the level of professionalism with the staff in dealing with the constant stream of customers waiting for a table, the constant stream of customers picking up their take out orders and the constant ringing of the phone for customers placing orders. Every person that I saw working there always had a smile on their face, were kind and helpful to everyone, engaged in easy conversation and made every person there feel as if they were the most important person there. I overheard one worker say that she had been there since 9:30am (nearing a 10 hour shift at that point). She chatted easily with customers, joked with them about their orders and, I kid you not when I say she answered the phone with a smile on her face every single time! Delicious food here! Their menu is hugeeeee. They have pastas, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salad, and more. My friends and I got food to go and it was ready exactly when they said it would be. I got the bacon cheeseburger with the gluten free bun and I have to say, it was one of the best gluten free buns I've ever had! I have loved every item on the menu that I've tried so far! I've had the chicken parm, bacon cheeseburger, fish sandwich, and the gyro pizza. Everything tastes delicious and fresh. The chicken parm grinder was huge and filling. The bacon cheeseburger was juicy and cooked to my liking (medium rare). The fish sandwich was my favorite. The batter on the fish wasn't too thick, but was more of a crispy goodness. The side of fries that come with the burgers and sandwiches are amazingly crispy as well. The gyro pizza had the right amount of toppings and the crust wasn't too thin or too thick, it was just perfect. I've only ever gotten take-out here, but the service has been exceptional. Baked ziti, cheeseburgers, Reuben's on rye, and a small pizza with ricotta, garlic, and broccoli were all quite good. The fries are crispy outside and soft in the middle. First time pizza run at the Grapevine; it was pretty good, nothing exceptional but a fairly solid pie if you like Greek style pizza. The sauce had character the cheese was ok and the crust was crispy crunchy, not quite as much flavor as I have had in other Greek pies but overall I was pleased. read more

We opted for the Athenian White Pizza which has spinach, roasted red peppers, garlic and feta. It was super delicious. The crust is crispy and fairly thin. Overall, I'm thrilled to have tried this place that is right down the road from my house. This place is going to be a problem for me now that I know it's so close and it has tasty food. This place was SO nice. The food was good, and the service was so friendly. Reasonable prices, too. I had the chicken parm sub, and my colleague had a toasted tuna sub. We split a fries and they were good and crisp and not too greasy. It really did have a diner like feel. But it's a sit down, Greek/Italian sort of place at its core. I haven't had the pizza yet, but I think that's going to be next. The restaurant was clean and well set up. We were the first ones for lunch at about 11:30, but people rolled in while we were there (A lot of older folks... Retirees it seemed.) The difference between small and large sub is small are 8 inches and large are 12. The 8" grinder was still huge. I'm amazed I finished it and my portion of the fries. The meat in the sub was great. No real fat or gristle. Solid breast meat. I can assure you I'm headed back there next time I'm in the meadow. read more

Just went to this place, wanted to try it out. Went with my wife. Place was packed, had to park across the street but that wasn't a problem. Waited for a bit to be seated. This place has a small dinning area so your having dinner with everyone basically. Wait staffs isn't the greatest, not aware of who's there. Wouldn't think of a small place. Then I get home, and the pizza was bland and flavorless. (I ordered the Hawaiian pizza.) Reheating it today just brought back bad memories. My biggest complaint - and, to be fair, I had read this in other reviews - was the crust. It honestly seems pre-made like a pie crust.
