I've never received such poor service. Besides the faucet dripping after a supposedly new one was installed, the owner then insisting it's normal and they'll charge me another $49 to come out again if he thinks nothing is wrong, today I noticed numerous scratches in the wood laminate flooring in front of the rug in front of the sink. I don't know what they did but clearly you can't trust these guys in your home. They could've easily put something down to protect the floor. They clearly don't care or only give good service to certain people. They only offer a 30 day guarantee on their own work but tell me delta offers a lifetime warranty on the faucet. Conveniently they took the box the faucet came in and any warranty information with them. The receipt they sent shows only one price for everything, $359. He was a couple of hours late, but had called me to let me know. The quote was pretty high (around $563), considering that I went to Menard's and was able to buy a sump pump for $150. I cut a 6 x 6 inch hole in the drywall so the plumber could access and remove the old outdoor faucet and replace it with a new outdoor faucet. The plumber arrived with the owner and the owner said the opening may be big enough to replace the faucet without making it any bigger. 30 minutes and $339 later the owner said they were done. I went outside to check out the new faucet and then saw the 6 x 6 opening had not been repaired or replaced. I asked the owner about this and he said "We don't do drywalls". This is akin to surgeons telling patients after an operation to sew themselves up! You are the one mistaken. I did not say you made the hole bigger. What I said was the following: "When you saw the hole you said it should be big enough for you to replace the faucet without making the hole bigger". read more

I liked them when they first came over because they are nice and seemed to be helpful. Unfortunately, they did a lazy job and gave us some very bad advice. They told us that we would have to remove some duct work to be able to install a gas line to the kitchen. They also recommended an HVAC person to do the job that never replied to our phone calls. We ended going with another HVAC person who came over and showed us that the Grateful Plumber people's measurements were completely wrong when they determined where the gas line would go (their measurements were several feet off!). This other company easily installed it without removed any duct work. The Grateful Plumber's careless miscalculation almost cost me a lot of extra money. Please be careful if you hire them and double check their work. read more
