I'm usually very picky with chai but they always make it perfectly spiced, the staff is super friendly. I frequent the Port Orchard Hayworth location. Atmosphere is always friendly. Wait times can be a little long when there is only one person working both walk up window and drive through. Love the GC Energy drinks. I have had lovely customer service experiences there. It is hard to be so bubbly all the time, so hats off to the barista's and baristo's. I prefer the build your own versions. Taylor the barista there is always offering different options with a bright smile on her face. Love when she is working. She got me hooked on an energy mix of red base, raspberry and peach flavor topped with coconut milk. Not too long ago stopped by here and the barista was prompt and sweet. When I got home I accidentally spilled my entire drink. I returned back to ask for a new drink (was willing to pay for a new one too) and the lovely lady remade my drink for me. This spot is right off the freeway and easy to navigate to. Just to give you an update on my Gravity Coffee experience I wanted to use my gift card up a few weeks later and went to the 72nd St. location in Tacoma and the barista asked me how my day was and I said fine. I just want to use up my gift card because I'm probably never gonna come back here because of my past experience and she asked what happened so I explained to the barista.... she talked to her assistant manager that was there with her at the time they apologize to me for having bad customer service from the company and actually gave me two free drinks to make up for it! We were waiting in the line and couldn't read the menu from so far away and wanted to be prepared to order so we looked it up on our phones. I'm providing a four star because I really enjoy going to GC, but this particular experience I had was not the one. The cup I got was not a GC cup. There was no branding, the plastic was thinner than usual, & the lid was not secure. When going for my first sip, the drink spilled & trying to find where it spilled from, I found that it was coming from the lid, & when attempting to close the lid, my entire cup exploded & this drink spilled all over my car. A wild experience to have a cup explode when trying to close the lid. It would of been nice if the barista mentioned, "hey we have an alternative 32OZ cup since we don't have our original ones." I would of been completely fine with getting a smaller size had I known that prior to ordering. after reading the nutrition facts about the drinks, I realized that it's these contain endless amounts of sugar, hence ending my further drinking experiences with GC. It was an amazing time with GC, their drinks are tasty & really not like any I've tried before, but the amounts of sugar is scary. read more

I've been a Starbucks fan for years but GC is the only one coffee I love beside Starbucks. It is a little more expensive than Starbucks though. Whenever I am in Seattle, I have to have GC! Nice and fast service, no waiting time, friendly staff. However I was a little bit disappointed as my salted caramel macchiato here is not like the other GC stand. I'll be honest, I'm not a huge coffee guy, but gravity is SO GOOD.

Placed an order for delivery to a customer's office and they canceled on me. No phone call, no email, no explanation just a cancellation. Be careful! I will never request a delivery order via yelp from this location. Very embarrassing to have to call my customer and explain the cancelation and show up empty handed. read more

There's an old saying that's goes "The two things you can't avoid in life are death and taxes". I am here today to update this popular phrase. There are actually three things you can't avoid in life, death, taxes, and a truly terrible experience at Gravity Coffee - Tacoma. You might be asking "Nick, it can't be that bad, surely you must be exaggerating?" I wish I was, but sadly I am not. I would like to make it clear that the staff is not the issue here, their employees are a bright light in an increasingly dark world. The issue with Gravity (of which there are many) is that upper level management is absolutely and utterly incompetent. While I don't have any proof (yet), I think it's safe to say that Gravity had a role in the recent events unfolding in Afghanistan. I will end this review with some advice for anyone unfortunate enough to make the mistake of visiting Gravity Coffee - Tacoma; order the Area 51, it's the only thing they do right. read more

Bummed that I didn't enjoy this coffee stand. The girls are all pretty, and have huge smiles. Their uniforms look great and their social media presence is huge. so many of these stands are popping up, but i have heard sad things about the owner, as well as how girls are treated in this business. I went into the drive thru one time to try out the coffee. I was surprised they didn't offer drip coffee, and even more surprised that some of the baristas working didn't even know what drip coffee was. They were kind and offered to make me something else but I wasn't interested. I'd rather support a local mom and pop shop then a franchise like this. read more

Came by and got up early to get my wife coffee before she went to work the last two mornings to be an awesome husband but the location was closed both mornings. The sign says it opens at 430am so I'm not to sure what the deal is??? I waited from 5am to 530 and no one came by but the police to ask what I was doing there waiting. So no coffee for the second day and I got up early for nothing. I might have to rethink my surprise coffee mornings to something a little more reliable. It really does suck though I thought they were doing good turning the place around from the last guy but I guess not??? Love the coffee and the owner but I need coffee this early in the morning.
