I'd like to start off by saying I work in the food industry, I understand things happen. I ordered a couple days ago, Feb 28th, and the order is still not sitting right with me. I ordered through Doordash, got it sent to my work to help me get through the day. I ordered a salted caramel macchiato, a pb&j smoothie and a down to earth energy. The pb&j was delicious, kinda chunky at times? I'm hoping that's just the peanut butter. When I've ordered it other times, it's been smooth. But it was edible, so I drank it. The down to earth was for my boyfriend, he mentioned it being too milky for what it usually is (we have ordered frequently, though not as lately, and have a close friend that works at the lakewood stand that has spoiled us in the past). It was edible, so he continued to drink it. Come to the macchiato, I literally gagged first sip and had to spit it out. I'm so disappointed, it was overly salted. Just ... way too much. I'm the type of person to say "I'll get my moneys worth out of this" and continue to drink it, but I couldn't get a sip down. It was like drinking the ocean...i ended up pouring it down the drain a couple hours later.. I mentioned it to some of my coworkers later on, and they too have had quality issues with this stand and either go to the stand in fircrest or order from a different company, now I will be too. Im hoping this stand will be able to get properly trained to follow recipes, I really do like the product when it's correct. Consistency is key! read more

I have been to many stand alone coffee in this wonderful state, if I go to a place twice I always jinx myself and the second drink is gross or I am unhappy with my coffee, this stand alone is always on point !! And right down from my place ! Everyone is so kind and not snotty and fake which can be most chicks at a coffee stand, but these ladies are truly kind and care about your day. I always try a new drink and I'm NEVER upset! It's always great from the energy drinks which my husband is obsessed about the coffee which is my thing! I've been in a few other times and coffee is always on point. It's not the best location because you can only get 2-3 cars per side. Excellent, excellent drive up coffee shop! The baristas are extremely friendly and sociable and the coffee drink choices are unique and very tasty! I ordered Steve a Iced Mocha which was delicious but I liked mine even more which was the Snickers coffee drink in iced form. The beverage tasted just like a Snickers bar and was delicious! I love unique coffee drinks like this but as I have gotten older sometimes they are just too rich and sugary for me to enjoy or I get an upset stomach later from it but the Snickers menu option that was offered here was perfect and didn't bother me at all. I was new to their establishment and wasn't sure what to try, the gal who helped me answered all my questions patiently. I ended up ordering a strawberry, lemonade black tea. My drink was fantastic and refreshing. My only problem is I ordered a 16oz and gulped it down quick. Will definitely be back. read more

I'm going to rate this two stars because emu coffee was fine, that's not why I'm writing this. I'm here because I was incredibly disturbed when I went for my visit to your sumner wa location. There was a man there with two girls in heels and the rest of the girls that were wearing actual work shoes and working. I do not know the situation however it seemed like an interview of the two girls in heels but all that I know is the conversation I over heard. He was telling them that they had to look their best so to remember to wear make up, smile, look nice, & don't get "too heavy". Clients don't like that. Pretty girls sell drinks. Then he grabbed one of the CO2 cartridges and asked if they knew what those were for? oh of course you don't you two aren't guys, do you have brothers? fathers? uncles? boyfriends? husbands? they know what to do with these. He then proceeded to throw his arm around the shoulders of one of the girls and lead them out of my sight/hearing. I just have to know, is this how you treat your workers? because if so I will NOT be back. read more

This place has a fantastic location for the University Place/Fircrest/Tacoma customers headed onto Highway 16, and after their most recent remodel the place looks great! Biggest draw in my opinion? OPEN UNTIL 10PM! No more searching for coffee houses around the area when you have a late night coffee craving! I've only visited this shop a handful of times, but lately it has become more frequent due to their blended coffee-the texture and base is so smooth it tastes like a coffee milkshake rather than an icy concoction like other places. The only thing I don't like is the actual menu is limited (for example, the blended menu only shows names of five coffees, no descriptions), but if you peek into the cart you will see a plethora of syrups and toppings. I asked for a custom blended coffee this evening and it was no problem. The music is bumping and some baristas are chatty and super excited about the business (asking if I have a rewards card or if we went to the grand opening after the remodel), while others open the sliding glass door, take your order, and give you your drink. I don't mind either type as long as they are all friendly, but it is always nice to see employees enthusiastic about their job! This will definitely be a place I will frequent more, especially with warmer temperatures coming soon! read more

Gravity coffee... I don't even know where to start! This establishment is DISGUSTING! I can not even put into words how horrible my experience was here. The barista I had was flirting with me (despite my two young kids being in the car) and making sexual advances.... DISGUSTING! The coffee tastes like New York City sewer water and was so unbearable that I had to throw it out of my car and go get coffee at Starbucks. The barista here gave my dog a "puppocino" which at first I thought was sweet... until my dog started having severe stomach issues and was defecating in my car and I ended up in me having to take him to the emergency vet where he had to stay overnight! Are we sure that they serve coffee here??? Or is it rat poison?! I will NEVER return to this establishment. read more

I went here for the first time two weeks ago and it was a wonderful experience. The baristas were both very nice, it was busy but they didn't show it and my drink and my daughters hot chocolate was perfect. We went today because my daughter wanted the "place that gives you a sucker in the straw". We had a very different experience! It was busy, about two to three cars on each side, we waited happily and one barista came to my car window to get our drinks started before we got to the drive window. When I rolled my window down I was greeted with " what are you having?!" Which threw me off because I was expecting a hi? But we ordered and when we got up to the window, it wasn't very friendly, they were having a conversation between each other and using profanity, softly but I could still hear. The thing that really made this terrible though, was they put the whip cream on my daughters hot coco... on top of the lid!?!??? She's 4! Why would you do that!? The moment she handed it to me I sat it down in the cup holder and it spilt all over my car.... I don't know if this is a normal practice but please stop doing it if it is, or... warn a parent first? I wouldn't have said yes to it if I knew it was outside of the cup. So weird! And yes I am a former barista and this is NOT normal practice. Much love mom of a sticky car! read more

it's difficult to put a star on not only that, but this comment is to the corporation incorporation only if you're out of something, how are you gonna charge your customers extra to replace a substance that you don't even have that doesn't make sense so to the corporation you guys are doing a shitty job all your stands doesn't have ice cream base on top of that nobody tells anybody that you're gonna charge them extra to replace the ice cream base that everybody loves that right there does not make sense do a better job or stop overcharging your customers for something that you can't get this happens again I stop going cause I don't got extra money to be paying for extra things that you don't have read more

So, an update from my last visit. I went today since I was craving a flavored redbull and it's right down the street from me. Usually when I get a redbull here they're disgusting, so I was worried about wasting my money. But, let me tell you today the redbull was AMAZING!! I got a Zero Gravity Mimosa.(originally wanted lime and blueberry, but she said they had no lime so she suggested the blue raspberry vanilla. )I got blueraspberry with vanilla and whipped cream, no cream,lemonade,or orange juice. It was so good!!! Enough syrup and everything...definitely will be going back again....as you guys have regained my business!!! read more

Recently I moved out of state and can no longer get my sweet nectar :(. I never wrote a review for Gravity while living there, and now that I can't go anymore I truly understand what I've lost. Gravity was my girlfriend and I's go to spot (Tacoma location rocks it), and sadly we have yet to find anything nearly as good here in Arizona. Gravity if you're listening Dutch Bros is killing it down here like lines 10-15 cars long...like all the time. We need you to continue your coffee conquest hitting the southwest hard. My previous ratings were very high but what has been my favorite coffee shop since I moved to WA just over a year ago has gone down hill. I'm a regular at this location. My partner and I get the same drinks almost every time. Today they tried to charge us over $17 for two coffees that usually cost us $13 and some change. That's basically an extra coffee! The girl who rung is up actually argued with us. "Well it sounds like you've been getting under charged." If that's the case they have been under charging me for over a year. This seems to happen every time someone new starts, which seems to be at least once a week. I'm over it. Not to mention I'm supposed to get a free drink every so many with their reward card and we havent gotten one in over a month. Maybe upper management needs to make some changes or train new employees to respect regulars. Regulars make the coffee business. read more

Their sizes are pretty big so if you enjoy a lot of coffee you can get it here! The baristas are so friendly and nice would recommend to anyone. I normally love Gravity Coffee, however I was bitterly disappointed. I ordered off of Uber Eats and was looking forward to their Blended Snickers Coffee. I happily took a big sip, and was met with a shard of plastic. No biggie, I just tried another sip. This time I had a whole mouthful of plastic. I poured it into a bowl, and the whole bottom of my cup was FULL of tiny plastic shards. It was as if someone threw a lid in the blender. I tried calling the phone number, and never received a person. Instead the phone number automatically hung up on me. So disgusted and disappointed.
