Gravity Sourdough Pizza Company is currently my #4 spot for pizza in Charlotte. They're super consistent when it comes to quality and flavor, which already puts them ahead of a lot of places. The vibe is chill, and the employees are genuinely cool--honestly the kind of people you'd grab a drink with after work. Anytime I'm over at Camp North End, I usually pre-order. It takes about 45 minutes to get your pizza (sometimes longer when it's busy), so ordering ahead is definitely the move. read more

If you're at Camp North End, this sourdough pizza spot is an absolute must-try. The space is small with only about six indoor tables, but they also have a patio--and the best part is Camp North End has tons of unique seating areas, so you can easily take your pizza to go and find a cool place to sit if it's busy. We tried two pizzas and both were amazing. You can really taste the fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the sourdough crust is out of this world. I also love that they give you dipping sauce with your pizza because who doesn't want to try different sauces with their crust? You also have to order the Cosmic Fries. They're perfectly seasoned, topped with cheese and truffle oil, and come with your choice of dipping sauce. I highly recommend the creamy garlic--it was incredible. Their menu is growing too--they've recently added a couple new pizzas and have a fun selection of beer, soda, and even THC drinks. If you eat inside, the playlist is also awesome and adds to the vibe. Friendly staff, great food, and an awesome local business to support. Definitely worth checking out! read more

This was my first time checking out Gravity and I'd been wanting to for a long time. I was in Camp North End for an event and was hungry and happy to try. I ordered the hot honey pizza and LOVED it. It was slightly soggy, like towards the middle. But it didn't mess up the taste at all! It was such a great flavor combo and the hot honey ranch was really good too!!! I'd definitely go back and try other pizzas, can't wait to go back. This is a great food stop if you're in Camp. Great service, seating and some fun pizza options. read more

I pre-ordered a pepperoni pizza--it was so good! It came with a dipping sauce so I went with the ranch (also excellent). I usually don't eat the crust on pizza but I didn't waste a bite of this crust! Parking can be annoying. Most of the closest parking is reserved for delivery pickup (15 minutes) so it can be a bit of a walk to the parking lot or parking deck. read more

After reading the reviews that there were only 6 tables, I was worried I wasn't going to get a seat, but by the time we ordered at the counter and were ready to sit, a table opened up. The pizza was delicious, especially the Tommy Boy. Each pizza comes with a side of their special sauce and they serve free water, beer, and wine. A little expensive for 2 small pizzas at $40, but I will definitely be returning! read more

We had a really stellar experience at gravity. Firstly, I love me some pizza on sourdough. Secondly, their options are unique and delicious. Thirdly, they have an online ordering system that is a life saver when you're at CNE and it's super busy. We were at a bar next door, put our order in online, grabbed it when it was ready, and brought it back to the bar to eat. Camp North has the Day of the Dead celebration so I had to stop by.. And Gravity somehow seems to call my name.. Packed and crazy busy. They handle the whole thing very very well. Small place and casual. Typical pizza joint. But what I like about them is they have a limited menu. Maybe about 8 different type of pizzas offered. But they know they're good at it.. Cooked in a stone oven. It gave it a very nice crust.. We order the pepperoni just to be save. And I was starving so I didn't want to "experiment". I wasn't disappointed nor regretted it. I came here for pizza while attending movie night Thursday at Camp Northend. I ordered around 7:50 pm through the app. The pizzas are 12 inches and they had multiple specialities. However, I just ordered a cheese pizza. Every pie comes with a sauce of your choice. I initially ordered the Calabrian chili aioli, then I thought ranch would probably go good with that. Then my cousin told me the hot honey ranch is really good! I decided to get all 3! They were playing the Notebook that night and it was packed! So it took longer than usual for the pizzas. I received a text an hour later stating my order was ready. When I got there I also ordered a bottled water which was $2. The cashier was pleasant. The restaurant had a very fun and cool theme. Visited Charlotte and came to Gravity Pizza while visiting a nearby bookstore. Well there's not a lot of seating inside, there is a lot of seating outside simply given the area that it's in. They were pretty steadily busy while I was there and yet the food still came out in an incredibly reasonable time. We ordered the cosmic fries, a pepperoni pizza and the pretty fly pizza. Pretty Fly pizza was phenomenal. Tasted like elote with chicken. The pepperoni cups were nice and crispy. The pizza wasn't too saucy or floppy. The sourdough crust really made this pizza shine. The fries were also very unique and delicious. Very pillowy. $45 for two pizzas, two drinks and Fries is completely reasonable and worth it. Lived up to the "sourdough" name sake! Great tang to the dough and good chew. Quality of the toppings is fair to the price point. I feel like the dough could handle a little more toppings. I did have higher expectations for this place. Sadly, my review is off of cold pizza. The workers lost our table's ticket. We waited about 45 minutes. We did not receive a text message or anything. We were also sitting at the front tables next to the condiments so we could hear our name/pizzas called out. In order to be recognized by staff, we had to go back in the standing line to ask about our pizzas. No offer to warm it up, so we ate cold pizza. We had an amazing lunch at Gravity! The staff are very friendly, and the space is small but cute. We ordered the Tommy Boy pizza (ricotta, pepperoni, hot honey, basil) without red onions and an order of their fries... everything was exceptional! The 12in. pizza was a great size, and crust really is special--so soft and flavorful--plus they were generous with the toppings. I liked the shape of the fries also. They were like curved potato wedges and had lots of Parmesan cheese on top. And we got to choose a sauce with each order, so we went with red sauce for the pizza and hot honey ranch for the fries--both were great. Gravity Pizza was delicious! The wait for our order took awhile, but they were going as quick as they could it was just very busy. So I'd recommend ordering online ahead (before 4pm because online ordering ends at that time) if you want to get Gravity on a Friday or Saturday night. But everything was fresh and delicious. The pizza dough was light and airy. The mixture of sweet honey, spicy chilies, and meat made the Tom pizza with ricotta mouth wateringly delicious. The atmosphere was fun, clean and welcoming. Did a pepperoni and mushroom pizza - dough was just right - hate when these oven places do too much crust and black burnt bubbled crust. Pepperoni is all the cup ones and the mushrooms were canned diced up, but I actually prefer that. If you LOVE garlic, get the cheesy garlic app bread - chunks of it cut up in every bite! I just wanted to write a review to say thanks for existing! Summer of last year, I saw you guys on instagram and since I was visiting Charlotte, I decided to visit Camp North End to try this delicious looking pizza. Turns out I'm terrible with directions, so I asked a cute stranger walking around if he knew where it was. He ended up becoming my boyfriend and is the most amazing man I've ever met in my life. Insanely good!!! Sourdough pizza is such a good idea, I actually ate all the crust! Little cup pepperonis are crisp and just the right size. The regular ribbon fries were so seasoned and delicious! 10/10. The ricotta complimented the pizza so wonderfully, the crust was super light & overall a beautifully cooked pizza. They use a big pizza oven so it's the perfect char flavor. So I went here on a Friday night and it was super packed. I'm not even gonna judge them off of service because as an ex food service employee, I get it and feel you. However the one thing that bummed me out was they ran out of pepperoni. Food - I ordered the Tommy boy minus the pepperoni and I subbed it with sausage. The pizza was a complete banger and I loved it. I would have been pretty upset if I waited for an hour and half and the pizza was mid. The pizza was really good. Crust was the star for me. The ratio of sauce and cheese was also 10/10. I'm also surprised the pizza was that good because it was so busy, sometimes the quality isn't as good because of the quantity of pizzas being pushed out. So mad respect for the quality of the pizza to how busy it was. Definitely going back when it's not busy. lol read more

The pizza and garlic bread were over cooked. The crust and bottom of the pizza and bread were burnt. The garlic bread could not be eaten due to the horrible burt taste. Only parts of the pizza could be eaten. We would have returned it but did not want to spend another 30 minutes to do so. read more

Slices here are GIGANTIC, one is easily about 3 standard slices of pizza, or two normal NY size slices. We got a pepperoni and a cheese. The pepperoni had nice kick to them and the cheese was a high quality. You had to let the pepperoni grease drain onto your plate a bit, but that is expected. The thing that makes both slices so good is the garlic butter bath all around the crust that you can see them doing in the kitchen. Not just that, but the texture in the crust will make even non-crust lovers think again. You're basically left with big doughy garlic butter breadsticks. Definitely a 5 on taste. My only complaint, and I'm sure it is partly by design to keep people from staying long, the stools you can sit on to enjoy your pizza inside the restaurant are THE WORST I have ever placed my derrier on. Even for 15 minutes, it wasn't just uncomfortable, it was painful. It took me a couple blocks to start walking correctly again. Might as well just get rid of them and have people stand to eat. Terrible. Almost knocked a star off for it, that bad. Regardless of the world's worst stools, I would come back for more pizza and just plan on not eating it there.

The pasta salad it came with also lacked flavor, though very green and appearing loaded with flavor but it was gummy. Didn't finish that. Overall, it was okay but I'm not likely to return just because there are better options based on the things we tried. But taste is subjective and it just wasn't our vibe today.
