Felt like an hour given the heat in Charlotte this summer lol. The staff was very friendly and also checked on us several times during our meal. Nice touch. You order and pay at the counter then find a seat. We were lucky in that there was seating available when we arrived but not when we left. We got water which is self serve on the counter. All pizzas are 12". We ordered a cheese pizza and a Tommy Boy pizza. My son and I were able to take both down between the two of us. The pizzas were fantastic. We especially liked the Tommy Boy. The cheese was great but we had eaten at Zeppedies the week before and theirs was definitely better. The crust is sourdough so it's different than a traditional pie. Highly recommend. read more

We stopped by a few times this evening to place and pick up two orders. The first was a half pepperoni/half cheese pie which cost $14 or $14.75, and the second was half shroom city with red sauce /half pepperoni which was around $18. The first pie with 2 sodas and an alcoholic spritzer was around $30. Water is free! Food is good ! Staff is delightful especially the cashier. The place has a cool, quirky vibe. Loved learning about the benefits of sourdough for digestion and blood pressure. Plenty of seating inside to eat and enjoy, or wait. They place old movies on old tv sets. Restrooms are connected-FYI- maybe not the cleanest but fully stocked and real toilets not the portable ones- which are the responsibility of Camp North End as a whole not the restaurant. Gravity Sourdough is a delicious local pizza spot in Camp Northend, which offers a lot of fun things to do before and after your meal here. There is a a galactic/space theme inside, which is pretty neat. There are a few tables and seats, but not a lot especially when it gets busy. The vibes were good, the service was good, and food came out quickly for freshly baked pizza in a big oven. We split the Garlic Crunch Cheesy Bread, Tommy Boy, and Da Bomb, which all came with sauces. The Garlic Crunch Cheesy Bread was so garlicky and cheesy! It was perfect on the thin piece of bread. We got the hot honey ranch to go with it, which definitely had hints of honey, but you can eat the bread without sauces. As for the Tommy Boy... it was an impeccable pizza! The basil, caramelized red onion, and ricotta really helped make the pizza taste even better. I liked Da Bomb, but it definitely had a kick from the Calabrian chili. The Tommy Boy was probably my favorite pizza out of the two. For the pizzas, we got the creamy garlic and Calabrian chili aioli, both of which were average. The pizzas were flavorful enough to eat without the sauces. I also like that the pizzas were cooked in a brick oven because the char at the bottom made the pizzas more scrumptious. Overall, this is a good pizza spot in Charlotte! The pizza options all sound good and the ones I tried were good. I would give this place a 4.5/5 stars if I could. read more

Great place. They are located in Camp North End so there is lots of parking. You order at the counter and they will call your name when your food is ready. We went during a weekday so it wasn't busy, they have about 5 tables so I can see on the weekend how this place may be crowded. Honestly, I'm a fan of this spot! I came back with some friends while attending an event next door and the smell just pulls you in. I mean the pizza just smells so good you can literally smell it just walking around outside in Camp North End. I HAD to get another taste lol. If you're at Camp North End, this sourdough pizza spot is an absolute must-try. The space is small with only about six indoor tables, but they also have a patio--and the best part is Camp North End has tons of unique seating areas, so you can easily take your pizza to go and find a cool place to sit if it's busy. We tried two pizzas and both were amazing. You can really taste the fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the sourdough crust is out of this world. I also love that they give you dipping sauce with your pizza because who doesn't want to try different sauces with their crust? You also have to order the Cosmic Fries. They're perfectly seasoned, topped with cheese and truffle oil, and come with your choice of dipping sauce. I highly recommend the creamy garlic--it was incredible. Their menu is growing too--they've recently added a couple new pizzas and have a fun selection of beer, soda, and even THC drinks. I came here for pizza while attending movie night Thursday at Camp Northend. I ordered around 7:50 pm through the app. The pizzas are 12 inches and they had multiple specialities. However, I just ordered a cheese pizza. Every pie comes with a sauce of your choice. I initially ordered the Calabrian chili aioli, then I thought ranch would probably go good with that. Then my cousin told me the hot honey ranch is really good! I decided to get all 3! They were playing the Notebook that night and it was packed! So it took longer than usual for the pizzas. I received a text an hour later stating my order was ready. When I got there I also ordered a bottled water which was $2. The cashier was pleasant. The restaurant had a very fun and cool theme.
