This place is definitely very very cute. If this is your first time going there, you'll probably be a little confused at first, honestly. It's located in what looks like a small house with parking in the rear so if that's where your GPS takes you, it is right. The inside is kind of small with not too many tables around. I went with two other friends with the intention of studying and getting a whole lot of work done. I feel like that would've been a lot easier if there was more outlets. In a room with that's suppose to seat about seven or eight people, there was one two outlets -- and they were located at a desk that only sat two. There was also suppose to be WiFi which worked great on my iPhone, but would not connect at all on my friend's and I's HP and Dell Laptop. So, all the work that I was planning to do on my computer was thrown out the window. I mean, if you have a Mac you should be fine though. The menu present at the shop was definitely not as extensive as the menu that was on the website. Given, the menu at the store was written on a chalkboard so I can understand that there was only so much they can write. I suggest that when you're going you view the menu online for a bit just as a guideline. In my opinion, the food prices were way too high for mediocre drinks. I paid $6 for a smoothie and a cookie, when I could have gotten much more with my money somewhere else. Nonetheless I paid because it really is a cute local shop and I'm all about supporting local businesses. The customer service there was really great though. It's ran by a bunch of young teenagers (like 16+ maybe) from what I saw on my day there. Normally that would be like disastrous but they were all super sweet and kind and made sure they got your order right. Overall, it's a cute place. I definitely think the best part about it is the aesthetic and scenery. It looks like a coffee shop that would be in a movie where a girl falls in love with her local barista or something like that. They played good music at an understandable volume so it wasn't too distracting. This place as a date idea? Definitely recommend. For a place to study and do work? Eh, not so much. read more

On the one hand I want to love this place because the setting is unique, it's locally-owned, and the people who work there were nice. On the other hand... The coffee was just okay; I think they get it from Jittery Joe's (something like that? I'm not from Georgia)? Anyway, it was not noteworthy. There is a good amount of seating, but the coffee shop is in an old house, so everything feels a bit rickety. The small, cramped windows make the whole shop feel *dark.* Like I needed to buy a coffee just to stay awake in the shop. The ladies working were nice--they were!--but it seemed to me that they were green. I don't know. The problem is, we placed a relatively simple order (2 breakfast sandwiches + 2 drinks) and it took 2-3 minutes for the lady to simply write down the order (correcting it several times as we stood there holding our things), then several minutes thereafter to deliver the order. They didn't seem terribly busy at the moment. I just got the feeling that they hadn't worked in foodservice before because they seemed inefficient. Overall, I would probably not come back unless they streamlined their food/drink delivery pipeline, but even then, it's a bit too cramped, a bit too dark for my liking. read more

This place was cozy. Comfortable. The lady behind the counter was very friendly. She quickly made up my latte with almond milk. First time I've ever had one of those. The baked goods in the cabinet looked amazing. I really, really wanted a brownie. But I abstained. It seems there are a lot of local regulars here who come in to grab some coffee (Jittery Joe's), get some work done, meet with the local gossip group, etc. There seem to be a lot of outlets for the laptop set. Why, you may ask, am I in Grayson, GA? The answer is because my wonderful lady wanted to find a place for me to work today while she traveled all over kingdom come, and this fine establishment was kind of in the middle of where she would be going. So, we have a coffee house in the middle of no where. However, if you find yourself in the middle of nowhere, then this is a fine establishment to grab a cup-o-joe. It is an old house converted into a coffee shop. 3 or 4 little rooms with tables and moderately comfortable chairs. There are a number of comfy big chairs like they have in coffee shops everywhere, but the chairs at the tables do leave your tailbone a bit pushed up into your neck. The woman who owns the place whose name I did not catch is extremely friendly as is her staff. Customer service is top notch. I did not eat anything, but had a cup of tea and cup of coffee. The tea is "two leaves" brand and is excellent. They have a number of varieties, but as I am boring, I had a regular black tea (oolong or Dajeerling, but it doesn't matter). The coffee was some kind of christmas blend. Not the most fantastic cup of coffee I have ever had, but still good. So I guess I drop a star for the broken tailbone and the not quite top of the line coffee. But, still leaps and bounds better than starbucks, panera, dunkin donuts, or any of the other chains, and more comfortable, too. I have no idea why you would ever be in Grayson, GA. But if, like me, your significant other is trying to find a place to dump you for a day, this is a pretty good place to be stranded. read more

Yummy and friendly coffee shop! This place felt like the twilight zone- everyone was talking and interacting with me in such a friendly way. The coffee is amazing and they didn't mind adding in some extra Carmel sauce into my freeze. They have a wide variety on their menu coffee wise, and I'm definitely gonna come back to try some of their baked goods and scones. The interior is quaint and cute like a good coffee shop should be. I'm also definitely going to remember that they sell king of pops here, I'm always looking for a place nearby that sells them. I don't know what took me so long to try this place with it being right down the street from me! It is located right next to Graft, which is one of the top Gwinnett Farm-To-Table restaurants. Grayson Coffee House gives a community and homey vibe. There is ample space inside to relax with some awesome Jittery Joes brew coffee or Italian zodas. They make food too which I didn't try, but all of it looks great! The desserts and pastries were tempting. They also have memorabilia that are cute. The whole area is gorgeous, especially with nice weather. I would highly recommend trying this place! Even if you don't live close by. It's worth the drive to try a friendly, neighborhood coffee shop that warms your soul. read more

absolutely terrible. the new owner has run this place into THE GROUND. everything is severely overpriced for what it is, 6 dollars for a smoothie?! come on. the owner claims the pastries are "homemade" but don't let him fool you. everything is from Sams Club, Great Harvest or Sweet Brown Sugas and overpriced to the point that you can get one muffin priced for more than enough to get six at Sams Club. the drink are mediocre and the coffee often tastes like muddy water and the espresso tastes burnt. the food tastes like cheap gas station food, especially the chicken salad sandwiches and the lamb gyros, the chicken salad used to be nice chunks of chicken and perfect dressing but now its a soggy mess from a tub, un-flavorful on cheap bread "toasted to look nice", everything is pre-made and reheated and then you're charged $8.00 for it. not to mention the terrible treatment of the wonderful staff, degrading them and bringing them down to the point of tears when they did not a thing wrong, they don't even receive the tips they work hard to earn. if you do visit TIP IN CASH, they work too hard to not get their tips. $50.00 plus in tips from those who tip with their cards go straight to the owner in claims that "They're to cover the mistakes that the staff make" and for "the cost of goods" the time that i felt the worst for them is when i was ordering and this sweet girl was taking it and the owner kept talking over her and butting in and not allowing her to do her job, this has happened every time i went. for Christs sake do not support this business, this is absolutely not the place to go if you want to spend locally. read more

I LOVE Grayson Coffeehouse!!!! From the day it opened to this Sunday when I got a cup of black Jittery Joe coffee at the drive thru it has been one of my favorite places on the planet!!! The vibe and energy of the coffeehouse is wonderful. I have even had first dates there. All the cute signs and yummy treats...there are lots of cool things to buy there. I love it all!!! It's a local gem! I love this small homey coffee stop. It's a great place to go get some work done or have a small meeting. They also have a patio and it's across from a nice park. My favorite is the frozen vanilla chai! You can get it with or without caffeine. They have yummy pastries and even popsicles. If you like some of the art on the walls they have options to purchase. This was my first visit to this coffee house... I'm on a bit of a coffee/tea spot hunt. I was looking for a place to sit and do some homework and have a few sips of caffeine. The place is small, cozy and relatively quiet (excluding the smoothie machines/coffee makers). The seating was a close fit, my table was bumped into and belongings brushed when it became crowded. The customers were friendly, the staff was nice but really not engaging. This coffee house is tucked in a smaller town, so I'm sure I was a new face to the neighborhood (thus not many wanted to speak). The prices were reasonable,but I didn't try the coffee because I was honestly looking for tea....so I opted for a smoothie...&& it was YUM. They also had a live band, they were young kids (like I think one may have been in middle school)...but they had a good turn out. I'd visit again...probably to do homework again because of their great hours on a weekend. read more

I'll have to say I was very impressed!! I tried this little gem the other day when I was in the mood for my Starbucks fix... and they were closed due to remodeling. I told the very polite lady what I normally get and she told me she could make it happen!! The atmosphere is super cute and cozy!! Used to go all the time but will not return under new management. $5.25 (menu said $5) for a single scone!? Owner explained how the price of everything has gone up. Uh, I paid $3.65 for a scone at Panera. A whole clamshell of scones at Publix is even less then that. What else am I paying for when I buy your scone? Service included but dang! I also got a bagel with cream cheese and it was really sorry. I could not find the cream cheese. A very little amount for what you pay for. Drinks are good, sometimes sickly sweet. Somewhat overpriced for my taste. I'd rather support local businesses and pay a little more then a corporate coffee house but I don't want to be ripped off either. read more

I felt like I was in a movie when I visited the Grayson Coffee House. Grayson is a small town where everyone knows each other. The baristas know many of the usuals and whip up their drinks with no hesitation. The setting is an old house with lovely hardwood floors; the decor is eclectic and rustic, making it feel like an authentic coffee house. They use Jittery Joe's coffee and teas, and I was pretty happy with my chai tea latte, however it was a little too sweet and the spices had a hard time coming out due to all the sugar or maybe flavored syrup that they use. Overall great customer service, clean dining area and bathroom, good drinks, and a small but satisfying lunch menu. I didn't try any pastries but they had a large selection. Plenty of parking and when the weather gets warmer, they have a patio with tables and chairs. They don't have many outlets for charging your laptop or phone but I overheard them saying an electrician was coming to add more. Overall great! I highly recommend it for studying sessions, informal meetings, or catching up with friends. read more

Highly Disappointed! I've been wanting to try this place for a while now but today I was let down by my experience at this establishment. Staff/owners were friendly but seemed very distracted while I placed my order. I ordered a Vanilla Iced Latte and two sandwiches (a chicken salad and a grilled cheese). I waited for about 20 minutes and had to walk up to the front to check on my order. Shortly after it arrived, but still no coffee drink. I had to walk up front again to remind them of my coffee drink, it had been forgotten. After it arrived, it was awful! The latte tasted like a powder creation of some kind! I would not recommend! Also, sandwiches were super bland, hardly no taste at all to be honest. I wasn't expecting top chef at a coffee house but these should just be removed from the menu all together! read more
