    Blueberry Cheesecake

Hubby took me to Graze for our Anniversary Dinner on Friday night and WOW!! Food was incredible. We started off with the Korean Fried Chicken which came with a delicious parmesan ranch. I got the Friday fish fry and hubby got the Bone-In Pork Chop with jalapeño grits, white bbq, and a blueberry gastrique. Both main dishes were some of the best food we've ever had. And of course ended with the Blueberry Cheesecake! Not only is the food amazing, the restaurant is right on the downtown Madison capital square with a stunning view that can be enjoyed from all seating. They also have patio seating. We came for regular brunch menu on Easter Sunday. The ambience is open, airy, and inviting. Service was prompt and accurate. However, our server wasn't super familiar with the menu and didn't know what was in certain dishes. We ordered a variety of dishes. Overall, everyone liked their meals. The flavors were great. Love the Korean fusion. However... despite that we were the first ones in the door, they did not have the chicken that was on the menu. That seemed strange to all of us that they didn't plan ahead for a holiday weekend. A solid restaurant would usually have their menu items well stocked prior to a holiday weekend. Overall, still a good expertise if you're willing to be flexible.

Top tier dining in Madison. The bibimbap has been my favorite for years. Farm to table ingredients, thoughtful dishes, and a great atmosphere with a lovely view. If you go on a weekend, be sure to get a reservation!

Had a reservation and got sat almost immediately. Cheese board was not bad, a little overpriced. The fish fry and bimbimbap were just okay. Overall, the restaurant is nice but I would not go back.

I know most people like it here, but everytime I've been here over the years something has gone astray. This time we went to Sunday brunch with a group, including some kids. We had reservations, so we were seated right away which was a plus. Also, I will say I don't think any of the issues we had were because of our waitress. She was super friendly and quick enough to take our orders on a day when there restaurant seemed full enough, but manageable. We got our drink orders in and our food at the same time to speed up the process for getting little kids food, and the waitress even took note of that. We also ordered an appetizer to help during the wait. It took a while for the drinks to come out, but they were all rather tasty. I think my apple cider mocktail was the best and refreshing since it was getting hot in the restaurant with the sun beating in. Our food however took forever and the kids meals did not come out any earlier than everyone else. One person in our group also initially didn't get his meal, which the waitress apologized and said there was a mixup in the kitchen. That's fine, it happens, but then the staff running meals tried to bring him the wrong order 3 times. The rest of us were all finished eating by the time he finally got his food. Overall, the food was fine. I got the eggs benedict which was a little underdone on the eggs for me as the whites were too runny for me. The kids chicken nuggets were pretty tasty with a flaky breading. I heard decent reviews of the breakfast burger, but the thing that was the best to us was the breakfast sandwich. It was quite messy, but the messiness of the sauce was worth it. We also got an appetizer of the cinnamon roll. I feel like it's a little mislabeled though, as it was more like a morning bun with some frosting/glaze over the top. Tasted pretty good and helped keep kids entertained for a while. Overall, the food was fine, but the experience wasn't great. With the multiple mixups in orders and getting a little green house effect going with the sun shining in, there wsnt a great feeling when leaving. Again, I don't think it was our waitresses fault, so not sure what was going on in the kitchen.

I came here again, with some friends, and one of us is vegetarian. Our server offered her a vegetarian menu which was greatly appreciated. We loved the interior decor and the large windows that gave us awesome lighting. Service was prompt and our water glasses were never empty! Food was delicious!!! We also ordered a mimosa flight. The tart cherry was definitely the best tasting flavor out of our flight and we loved it.

Graze is a stable downtown. Blend of WI pub food with a korean and sometimes Spanish twist. Love their desserts, I think dinner is just okay, but I really enjoy their bunch. Dumplings were great and this one sorta cold brew cocktail was great.

All the food was incredible. We also ordered the Cesar salad, housemade strozzapreti, and the chefs burger. Cant wait to go back and try more of the menu.

While wondering around downtown Madison, we passed by Graze a few times and finally decided to swing in for Sunday brunch...and we are happy we did! Graze is a local eatery that focuses on fresh-made, locally sourced food and drink. For brunch, we started with a few bloody Mary's and then dove into the food. I went with the Korean Fried Chicken Honey Biscuit with fries and my buddy went with the Loaded Hashbrowns. Both meals were cooked well, and delicious! The fried chicken was crispy, well breaded, perfectly fried and coated in that amazing sauce. My only gripe is the biscuit. The biscuit was great taste wise, but the way it was cut with the bottom being too thin made it unable to be picked up and ate as a biscuit. I ended up eating ugh with a fork and knife. The space itself is gorgeous. High ceilings, dark colors, wood accents, industrial seating, local art and massive windows on three sides looking out onto the downtown streets. Service was great as well. The bartenders and food runners were helpful, friendly and pleasant. Overall, wildly impressed with Graze. Definitely on my list for my next trip to Madison!

I had dinner plans, so I just wanted to stop in for a drink and snack. They have some really good offers for HH and their cheese curds are half off. They come with ranch and hot honey, and apparently they recently won best cheese curd at the cheese curd crawl. They were super tasty. Well seasoned, perfectly fried, and kind of chewy. I am not on the hot honey frenzy train, but I tried it and thought it paired well, just wasn't for me. The ranch was tasty though. Even the happy hour portion was hefty and I couldn't put down half. A little wine and cheese on a beautiful day, just makes for a good experience. They were making some pretty interesting cocktails behind the bar, and it is definitely worth coming back to try out their other options.

The real excitement of this place is found in the upstairs and downstairs bar areas. The downstairs area is known as the Rathskeller which is like an old dank cellar, great for parties. The craft beers they make here are decent, but on the little on the tame side, although I would recommend their I-5 draught IPA. The wine and dessert menus are very limited, but I noticed that they do sell a cannabis infused seltzer. They do keep things interesting menu-wise with monthly specials and featured Dane deal specials. The food overall is on the 3 to 4 star level which is fine as long as you're expectations aren't too high. Everything's handled on the handheld device, including the final payment and tip. They have the right formula working for them, the food and prices are fair, the beer is decent and the service was attentive. 10 photos for more insight, including the menus and bill.

The sandwich was ok, the corned beef was tough and big pieces would pull out of the sandwich when I tried to take a bite. It is not. It is rock candy flavored with agave. It was sweeter than my wife's rail Margarita on the rocks with salt. Their French onion soup is arguably the worst I've ever had. Flavorless. Slightly warmer than room temperature and the cheese was barely melted yet alone browned. Their appetizer of pork belly Fundido was the best option of the evening. Flavorful delicious and filling it was fantastic. However, the $40 pork chop entrée was unpalatable. Describe as a pork chop topped with a strawberry barbecue sauce. The sauce had no strawberry flavor. The pork chop can hardly be described as a grilled pork chop and is better described as a salt brine soaked Virginia ham warmed topped with watered down sweet baby rays barbecue sauce. Honestly. You could take this cut of meat, put it in a wooden box in the woods and use it as a salt lick stand during deer season. It was disgusting as much as it was dehydrating. The accompanying mac and cheese was basically Kraft dinner topped with panko. The highlight was the summer squash and that's saying a lot as it was nothing special and for crying out loud-it's squash. My wife and I could not stomach finishing more than half the entree between us and left. I repeat. The servers at the bar were great. But nearly everything brought in front of us disappointed.

My husband and I both had salads and the bowl was too small for the salad but it was a decent salad I do wish the cheese was sprinkled on top as it ended up going to the bottom of the bowl. For an entree I had steak frites. Fries were solid and the cooking of the steak was good with the charcoal but it didn't have much flavor. The chard on the side was also good considering I've never had it. For dessert we had the valentine special chocolate cake and again it was good but nothing super special. We didn't stick around the bar too long but enough to get a winning pull tab. I would come back for the bar tenders they seemed chill.
