We visited for a family brunch today and were initially hesitant to stay due to the long line, but ultimately decided to wait. While trying to get my husband and young daughter settled at a small table--something I've seen done here before without issue--a male staff member approached and told my husband, "We're too busy for you to seat yourself." This was surprising and felt unnecessarily confrontational, especially since other guests were doing the same--families with one adult ordering while the other sat with children. It was unclear why my husband was singled out, as the self-seating approach appeared to still be the norm? The inconsistency in how guests were treated was noticeable and confusing, not just to us, but to nearby patrons as well. With only one cashier handling a growing line, it may have been more effective for the staff member to assist with the flow of service rather than confronting a guest who was simply trying to accommodate his child. Ultimately, the interaction left a negative impression, and my husband no longer felt comfortable dining there, so we chose to leave. Unfortunately, the experience lacked the welcoming and relaxed vibe we were hoping for and reflected a need for clearer management and communication. A disappointing visit overall. read more
