Try the shaksuka!! I could tell this dish was crafted with love. It was so good and I even got gluten free bread to go with it. I felt so loved and not like a nuisance. All plates were cleaned in our party! Our waiter was outstanding, too. I would absolutely try Counter Culture again and I will look forward to it.

My revisit is 4 stars. May be the winter menu is as impressive as before. Food still good compared to many restaurants there. I still like the meeting room there available for our company party. I got the New York strip combo with bone marrow. The steak is good quality and the bone marrow is good. My appetizer is the grill artichoke. It is good as first course. The drink also change in this season. They don't have coconut for the old drink.

Counter Culture was an amazing experience from start to finish. We came with a large group after Gasparilla, had a reservation, and they went above and beyond by giving us an entire private room to ourselves which made the night even better. The service was outstanding. Everyone was incredibly attentive, organized, and patient despite the size of our group. Drinks came out quickly, food was timed perfectly, and we never felt rushed or overlooked. The food was excellent across the board. Everything was flavorful, well-presented, and consistently good, even for such a big party which says a lot. From starters to mains, nothing disappointed. Between the attentive staff, great food, and seamless handling of a large group on one of Tampa's busiest weekends, Counter Culture absolutely delivered. Perfect spot for group dinners, celebrations, or post-event gatherings. Highly recommend we'll definitely be back.

WOW this place is a hidden gem. Everything I and my girlfriends had for breakfast was delicious. We started with the carrot pressed juice. It was so refreshing and tangy. I highly recommend getting this to drink for the main course. I got the classic Benedict and it was perfect. The egg was cooked to perfection. My girlfriends also got the eggs Benedict. They enjoyed it however they had theirs with grits. I would say that the grits were the best grits I have ever had. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast if you're in the area I truly enjoyed it. Parking is free valet or you can self park in the parking garage in the back.

We went here for a birthday dinner on a Thursday night. The place was absolutely dead, but I don't know why. The food was impeccable! The espresso martinis and mocktails were great! Bartenders and staff were super friendly. The table favorite was the grilled cheese/ tomato soup and chicken parm options! My only gripe is that I wish they offered more gluten free and dairy free options.

A horrible after work experience. Ariel our server was in point as usual, friendly and knowledgeable, she deserves all the stars. The food was underwhelming and disappointing. The $15 burger was served cold with stale roll, in both burgers. The greens served in the burger were yellow and tasteless. Shrimps with Potatoes overcooked, and potatoes very bland with minimal to no tomato/bean sauce as explained in the menu. Pistachio butter with the 4 slices of sour dough was bland and flavorless. If this is an example of how dinner menu might be we probably could not be back, especially for price point.

My fiancée and I had been wanting to try Counter Culture for a while, and we finally went for our anniversary. We had a great experience! The service was professional and very attentive, exactly what you hope for as a guest. The atmosphere is elegant and upscale, though it was a bit tricky to find the entrance. The food was unique and everything we ate was absolutely delicious. Counter Culture serves modern American cuisine, and at first, I wasn't sure what that meant. But after trying it, I get the appeal. It's not just American ingredients, it's classic dishes elevated with international flavors. I loved it!

I've been for brunch and it's incredible! The poached eggs bourguignon is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I was very excited to go for dinner because I love the Edison (sister restaurant) and it's the same chef. However, dinner was a huge disappointment for me. We got the half portion of the autumn squash smoked ricotta ravioli ($21) as an "appetizer." The crab was slightly overcooked but the flavors worked very well together. I really enjoyed it while my boyfriend thought it was good but not great. Then I got the yellowfin tuna au poivre ($42) - the fish is cold which threw me off but it has to be because it's raw in the middle - it was pretty good. The maitake mushroom lardon boulangere on the dish was my favorite part to be honest, it was delicious and paired well with the fish. I absolutely hated the asparagus, they were so big and stalky without flavor - I wish they did regular, thinner asparagus. For our last dish we got the Black Grouper ($45), which was an absolute miss. The flavors just didn't make sense. The rice had Indian flavors and was overpowered by the lentils, but then there was truffle creme (?) which wouldn't pair with Indian.. It was one of the worst grouper dishes I have ever had. It was my boyfriend's dish and he couldn't even finish it. To spend as much money as we did, I wasn't impressed. What I would go back for is brunch and potentially the "Happening Hour" which has a monthly rotating menu with $10 app dishes that look delicious.

I've been to Counter Culture several times for brunch. The restaurant has a lovely modern vibe, delicious food and attentive staff. They have a very nice outdoor seating area with umbrellas and a bar you can sit at. Parking used to be a little difficult depending on the time but there has since been a parking garage built. They now offer valet parking right in front of the restaurant, or you can park in the garage. We used the garage this time and it was super easy! Both are complimentary. The garage is about 200 feet away from the restaurant. For brunch today we ordered the Pecan Morning Bread. We've ordered it many times and it's always delicious! It's a favorite of mine! Please never take it off the menu!!! For breakfast I ordered the Macadamia Nut Pancakes with tropical fruit and passion fruit syrup. My hubby ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict which are served with hash browns. Both were delicious! Our server was Patrik S. (That's what was printed on our bill). Unfortunately, I completely forgot his name. The service was excellent and Patrik was extremely attentive! Counter Culture is one of our favorite brunch spots!

Counter Culture has a beautiful location about a block from the Tampa Bay with a partial water view. Not only is there valet parking, but there is a public garage nearby for free and abundant spots (it was Sunday). Restaurant was very bright, open concept and perfect for a group. We went for Sunday brunch and there was a lot of people. Wait time was not long. Food was just OK. Biscuit and waffle were dry and presentation was kinda bland on some food and not worth the price tag. The menu has lots of fancy words for descriptions so I expected more. Just very pretentious. Service was slow to get food, but waiter was amazing. So friendly and attentive. Good atmosphere.

5 star experience at Counter Culture for brunch! Somehow I'd never been and was super excited to try it for the first time. Our group of 6 started with the coconut pecan morning bread which came with butter and a fantastic jam. This bread was DELICIOUS, super moist, warm, and you could see all the fabulous coconut strands and pecans throughout. I did not try the avocado tostada but my friends enjoyed it, it was just too small to share with our entire group. I ordered the egg white omelette (baby spinach, burrata, roasted tomatoes, sliced avocado, sourdough toast). It was delicious! Lots of burrata and tomato throughout which gave it good flavor since it was really just egg whites. It also came with a piece of avocado on the side so I made a mini avocado toast with my sourdough. It is gorgeous in this restaurant. Beautiful natural light, open-concept kitchen... wow! Can't wait to come back and try more.

Tried out the brunch!! Definitely a great location, pretty restaurant, service is always great, parking can be right. But everything was tasty and fresh! Would definitely recommend! The place is a little upscale, very clean and a good space for actual conversation!

I had ordered a 9oz pour of wine and when my server was trying to serve me the wine, they accidentally spilled about 6 oz of wine on me, my purse, and my friend sitting next to me. I got most of the wine's trajectory on me and my whole left side was drenched. The server may have said sorry immediately, I didn't hear it, but I was also in shocked from having a conversation with a friend to having a black of cold liquid poured on me. I had to ASK for additional napkin, as I only had the one on my lap that was also wet. Our server came back, and asked if I was okay and did say sorry. They also asked if I get cut? Physically, I'm fine, but I'm uncomfortable - My left side is soaked, I smell like wine, and you didn't bring the napkin I needed...so I asked again, may I please get another napkin. Now, I get it, people make mistake. Thankfully it was white wine, but I sat in wet clothes for over an hour to dry. We were there from 12:30p-3:00pm. I expected sometime during that 2.5 hour lunch for a manager to come swing by the table and just check in. Did they? Nope. Did my wine get comped? Nope. But is a complimentary wine what I expected? Nope. The only expectation I had from this incident was for an upper management staff to check in. Would I be treated differently if it was red wine instead? Shouldn't have matter either way. I'm completely disappointed in the way this matter was handled. This is not the establishment where I would expect this lack of service. If you want to know about the food, it's fine and consistent, but you pay a lot for the small portion size, and can get better and more food across the street, and you may not get wine spilled on you to boot!
