We started with a Caesar salad, which was a bit of a letdown. Didn't taste much like a Caesar salad at all. The mains were good - fettuccini alla Norma and pappardelle bolognese - but both were a bit saltier than we would have liked, yet still very good and the saltiness wasn't a dealbreaker. It was a delicious meal. Loved the garlic knots that they gave in the beginning. It had a lot garlic and flavor compare to other places. I had the stuffed chicken special which came with spinach and mushroom on the inside in this savory sauce and hubby had the penne vodka and both were delish! I was impressed by how much flavor both dishes had. Service was efficient. We had such a lovely New Year's Eve dinner here. Restaurant Options were limited because we booked last minute but I'm so glad we found this place. The food was so amazing , pastas and desserts were better than places I've had in little Italy . The seafood black ink pasta was a hit, Penne vodka was also good. Steak was a huge ribeye and the garlic knots were so good we almost filled ourselves up on those alone. Baked clams were also eaten in seconds and we really liked the tricolor salad. The desserts. Food was OK, service was definitely lacking, my main issue is the mark up. Da Vinci Pinot Grigio is a $11 bottle of wine they charge $55 which is ridiculous and it's the cheapest bottle they sell. Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio is $75, ouch! I also noticed the table next to us was given a bottle of sambuca for their after dinner coffees. I thought to myself, self I would like a little sambuca with my double espresso, then the bill came and it was $14 for my sambuca. Waiter didn't know the prices of the specials either and I'm glad I asked, stuffed chicken breast $39! Very small clams, but there was a good amount so that makes up for the lack in size. But the baked ziti with sausage was WAY too salty. I could not finish 1/4 of it and now I'm questioning whether or not they even gave me the right order because all I see is meat sauce and no sausage? The meat sauce is just so so so so salty and I'm disappointed that I spent money for something that's inedible. I would've made a call about this but they are now closed. read more

This is hands down my favorite Italian restaurant in Queens. Another spot that I've been going to with my family since I was young, and for good reason- their consistency and attention to their customer base is impeccable. First off, the atmosphere is wonderful; dimly lit, not too noisy. Very clean room with very polished servers. The food has NEVER disappointed. My favorite go-tos are their chicken francese, penne alla vodka or their veal chop special. Also love their calamari, and those garlic knots are dangerous- in a good way, of course. (Don't fill up on them too much, you'll want to enjoy your main course too!) Owners Peter and Carmelo treat you like family. Baby clams, filet mignon, sea bass, calamari, baked clams, can't complain. You ready get generous portions of everything and its worth every penny. They are truly a family restaurant. We went late and saw how well they treat their employees!! They ate together family style at the end of the day, no wonder everyone gave us great service! Their service was like 10 stars! The Penne alla vodka was a bit too saucey personally for me, but over all. The dish was great and you should try it out. I have been going to the pizzeria once in a while when I get my nails done. I usually pay 6.50 for a slice of focaccia bread. The people are not friendly there, they don't say hello or acknowledge you when you come in. You have to speak up. Finally a young boy comes out I place my order and the guy making the pizza gets it so I know he heard me. Then the kid charges me $7 . I just paid and left. I will never go back again. Another table who came after all got their appetizer (fried calamari!). So I waived at the waiter asking him where was the appetizer and he gave me an "ok" and went to the back. Please note that he never checked on us in those 45 minutes. I was getting annoyed, really hungry, and at this point I was in a rush to get home to take care of my baby. I walked to the back to find the waiter and to ask what happened. He just said "it's coming". I then asked did you forget? If so, please cancel. He then blamed on the kitchen for forgetting the order. After canceling the appetizer, we had to wait for another 30 mins for our entrees. When it finally came 2 of the orders were wrong!!!! They brought out 3 veal Parmigiana when we only ordered 1! I asked the waiter where is the mushroom because he tried to pretend that he gave us the right orders. He said its inside! There is no mushrooms in veal parmigiana! He had no idea about the dishes! How can u be a waiter if you don't know what the dishes are?! I'm not sure why this place got such good reviews. It took us forever to get seats. When we got there the waiters were so rude to us, ignoring us to say hi to guests they they were friends with. When we wanted to order, it took forever. Seriously. We got a seat at 7:30 and we ordered at 8:50. We were flagging down waiters and all we got was "one minute, be right there". Absolutely enjoy everything at Graziella. From the warm bread and butter to the generous appetizers and the awesome specials. While I wouldn't say it is the most innovative cuisine and you're going to be blown away by the creativity of the chef, this is by far the best standard Italian restaurant I know of. For appetizers, me and the three other guests in my party shared the baked clams and calimari. Both were excellently prepared. For entrees everything was perfect with my friends ordering the specials including the sea bass and the filet mignon. I had the linguini with clams which was delicious. The Caesar salad was swimming in dressing with awful store-bought croutons, the shrimp were good but the waiter didn't tell me that the five shrimp they put on my small salad added almost TWENTY dollars to an eight dollar Caesar salad. The pasta was just OK-- hard pieces of pasta and essentially flavorless meat sauce. Don't understand why people like this place. It reminded me of a not-so-good catering hall meal. I recently placed an order on Grubhub for the fried calamari that was not breaded and UNDER COOKED. According to the rude man on the phone, who's been doing this for "20years", he doesn't bread the FRIED calamari only dips them in flour.... Beside that ridiculous notion my husband called as a concern consumer in regards to undercooked seafood which is very dangerous. Being a chef, his first thought was to let the establishment know what their cooks are sending out. Instead of acknowledging and offering a resolution, my husband was met with a very rude & obnoxious attitude telling him he doesn't know what he's talking about. The calamari was still grey with a hint of purple, last I checked cooked calamari is white. My husband had to call Grubhub to settle this matter since Graziella choose to ignore the fact they're sending out under cooked seafood. read more

That being said, I've been eating here for major family events, for, well, forever, and this restaurant does not disappoint. I landed here with my girlfriend by mistake. The place is small and cozy, people that eat there are long time clients, the food was great and the best part for me is the owner!!! Lol. This is my mom's favorite local spot for Italian. Small but very cozy and the head waiter (also owner) is a gracious gentleman in his 70-80's who always makes you feel very welcome. Nothin fancy but good homestyle Italian cooking. The calamari is usually lightly fried crispy and well seasoned and VERY plentiful. But the last time we went, if seemed off...maybe cuz it was near closing time. In my opinion, the BEST veal parm in town, hands down. Tender inside, crispy on the outside, mounds of mozzarella and homemade marinara. My mom LOVES the Chilean sea bass, also the BEST in town. Seared to perfection, sooo moist inside, slides off your fork like butter. Unfortunately the last few times we went, the waiter said they stopped selling it because...the price of Sea Bass at wholesale was so high that they couldn't turn a profit from it. Sooo sad. Great place to go for Italian food. The restaurant is small, about 10 or so tables. You are served bread and fresh,warm garlic knots after you are seated which are delicious. I would avoid the bread and just have the garlic knots though - the bread is nothing special. The chicken marsala was a large portion and very good! As a first time patron of Graziella's, I was pleasantly surprised. When I first entered the restaurant, I was greeted by friendly staff. Not only did they bring out starter bread with butter, but they brought out these amazing garlic knots on the house (that just made my mouth water as I'm typing and thinking about them). Perfectly garlicky and delicious.. I soon realized as all the garlic knots have been eaten, that I would be foolish not to use the house bread to dip into the remaining oil and garlic on the plate! Yum! The waiter then recited the specials of the day, and we placed our order. We had the baked clams for our appetizer, which were juicy, well cooked, almost perfect. We also had the fettuccine bolognese and the rigatoni with shrimp and broccoli in a white wine sauce. The pasta dishes were of a hearty portion, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. For dessert, we ordered the coconut sorbet in a coconut shell. It was very "coconutty" with bits of shredded coconuts in it.
