Eggplant Tower appetizer Thin slices of eggplant with mozzarella and fresh tomatoes topped with basil drizzled with balsamic vinegar.

This is a review for Graziella Restaurant; a quiet, intimate, friendly neighborhood staple, next door to Graziella Pizza, run by the same owners. The restaurant has an old-world feel, with timeless decor, roughly 10-12 tables, and a repeat local clientele. They offer a full bar, and a diverse but not too expansive menu, including some daily specials. As long time patrons we were happy to hear they have new additions to their offerings, such as the delicious eggplant "tower" appetizer (pictured) with grilled eggplant, fresh mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, basil and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. Our party of 3 shared this and it blew us away for its freshness and balance of flavor. The staff is hard-working, and the kitchen is quality. The vibe is "understated". For a small spot on Francis Lewis Blvd, the menu might seem pricey. Consider it an indulgence. Management accommodates guests from parties of two to large groups and is not looking to turn the table, we've found we often stay until closing. Recommend!

A solid local restaurant, reasonably priced with gold food. The bread to start off the meal was delicious - warm, fresh, and a great way to get things going. We started with a Caesar salad, which was a bit of a letdown. Didn't taste much like a Caesar salad at all. The mains were good - fettuccini alla Norma and pappardelle bolognese - but both were a bit saltier than we would have liked, yet still very good and the saltiness wasn't a dealbreaker. Service was a bit on the slower side, particularly to get us the salad appetizer (over 30 mins). All in all though, would definitely come back.

We had such a lovely New Year's Eve dinner here. Restaurant Options were limited because we booked last minute but I'm so glad we found this place. The food was so amazing , pastas and desserts were better than places I've had in little Italy . The seafood black ink pasta was a hit, Penne vodka was also good. Steak was a huge ribeye and the garlic knots were so good we almost filled ourselves up on those alone. Baked clams were also eaten in seconds and we really liked the tricolor salad. The desserts. I don't know who makes them or where they get it from but get the pineapple and lemon and peach and orange sorbettos. Service was on point and being New Years owner was kind enough to give us a complimentary bottle of champagne. A true neighborhood gem. We will be back

Food was OK, service was definitely lacking, my main issue is the mark up. Da Vinci Pinot Grigio is a $11 bottle of wine they charge $55 which is ridiculous and it's the cheapest bottle they sell. Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio is $75, ouch! I also noticed the table next to us was given a bottle of sambuca for their after dinner coffees. I thought to myself, self I would like a little sambuca with my double espresso, then the bill came and it was $14 for my sambuca. Waiter didn't know the prices of the specials either and I'm glad I asked, stuffed chicken breast $39! If money means absolutely nothing to you and average at best service is good for you then 5 stars. Bon Appetit!

Baby clams, filet mignon, sea bass, calamari, baked clams, can't complain. You ready get generous portions of everything and its worth every penny. They are truly a family restaurant. We went late and saw how well they treat their employees!! They ate together family style at the end of the day, no wonder everyone gave us great service! Their service was like 10 stars! Food wasn't perfect, medium well came out medium rare, but it's definitely getting there and worth going again especially since they were quick to apologize and fix the meat! :) --- OMG I came back again and the veal chop literally melted in my mouth... This is my new weekend italian spot!

This is an Italian restaurant that you should definitely try out. Although today there was a slight problem in the kitchen, everyone makes mistakes which should not reflect the review harshly. The kitchen staff misread our order and missed our appetizer. The servers were polite and quick to respond to the problem and helped us with it right away, Nevertheless, the food was amazing and it is definitely worth the return. The Penne alla vodka was a bit too saucey personally for me, but over all. The dish was great and you should try it out. The second dish we got was the Fettccuine bolognese and for a man who loves ordering any pasta with meat sauce every Italian restaurant he goes to, this was definitely one of the best ones I've ever tried. A must try dish I must say. The service. 10/10 The food. 9.5/10 The cleanliness of the restaurant. 10/10 The location and parking availability. 10/10 Overall a 9.7/10

Manager Beatrice is truly a gem -- very attentive, super sweet, and made my family feel so welcome. The atmosphere was warm, family-oriented, and comfortable. The prix fixe menu was excellent from beginning to end. For appetizers, my mom had the burrata with heirloom tomatoes, and my sister and I had Nonna's meatballs, which were delicious. My sister had the rigatoni, my mom had the salmon, and I had the short rib of beef, which melted in my mouth like butter -- that's how tender the meat was. For dessert, I had the cannoli's while my mom and sister enjoyed the chocolate lava cake. Everything was flavorful and beautifully prepared. The bathrooms were also nice and clean, which is always a plus. My family and I will definitely be coming back again -- even if it's just to stop in for a lychee martini and the grilled octopus, one of my favorite meals. Highly recommend for a family dinner, date night, or casual night out

Our server was very pleasant and happened to be the only one working at the time, though with so few guests, it seemed to be all that was needed. We ordered the three-course lunch special. One set included the meatballs to start, followed by the chicken Parmesan and bomboloni for dessert. The other included a Caesar salad, tagliatelle Bolognese, and tiramisu. There was a bit of a longer-than-expected gap between the appetizer and the entrée, especially considering we were essentially the only table being served, as the other guests had already finished their meal. That was a little frustrating. Aside from that, most of the food was solid. The only real disappointment was the chicken Parmesan, which was quite overcooked. It was unfortunate given that the kitchen was only cooking for the two of us. That said, the mashed potatoes, an unusual pairing with chicken Parmesan were excellent: perfectly creamy and incredibly smooth. The tiramisu was also quite good, but the real standout was the bomboloni. I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed them, since fried doughnuts wouldn't normally be my first choice for dessert. I would definitely return.

Mekayla, who had recently started working there, was our waitress, and she is delightfully bubbly and energetic, making our entire experience there that much more fun. We started with drinks (good wine and mixed drinks), then the warm goat cheese and beet salad, drizzled with a sweet balsamic dressing - wonderful! For main entrees, we had the chicken paillard (very tender grilled chicken over a bed of risotto) ), chicken scarpariello (with medallions of chicken and sausage, potatoes, peppers in a delicious garlic sauce), and pollo e penne (grilled chicken with broccoli rabe in roasted garlic sauce). All three were excellent, and paved the way for a very tasty tiramisu (with lady fingers along the rim as well as soaked with espresso) and Cloud Nine coffee (coffee with Bailey's, Amaretto & whipped cream - a delight!) We are only sorry that we waited so long to eat there! We're definitely returning to try more items on the menu! They start you off with a basket of warm Italian bread, garlic olive oil (This is yummy!), and crushed tomato sauce. We got the mushroom pizza to share (3/5)- not the best pizza, crust is on the thicker side of a NY slice, and the sauce was ok. If you add the garlic olive oil (from the bread basket) onto your pizza, it adds a great flavor! For my main dish, I got a penne alla vodka with shrimp. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Vodka sauce was incredibly delicious, shrimp were plump and well cooked (tasted fresh, not frozen) - which is hard to find in most restaurants. If you order an entree (not including pasta dishes), it comes with a side salad or spaghetti! Service was also friendly and very attentive.
