I've had 2 negative interactions with this company. First one, I had scheduled an appt online to have my heat/cool air seats repaired. I received a confirmation appt so I proceeded like normal. When I arrived, I was told that they don't work on electronics. Normally I wouldn't care, but why not call me when I scheduled this appt a week prior to let me know this? Okay, just waste my time then. 2nd interaction, I called to schedule an appt to have my rear shocks replaced through my CarMax warranty. The man who answered immediately said they don't have time... Now this sounds absurd because it's a car repair shop.. I asked well can I just schedule a future appt then? He said no... LMFAO what a complete joke. read more

I really don't like writing bad reviews for places that I like, but I have to get this off of my chest. I've been bringing my three vehicles here for the last three years for oil changes and at the recommendation of the manager there I had an older vehicle of mine, a van with 170,000 miles, replace the transmission fluid. The guy I normally deal with wasn't there so I had to deal with two younger guys. After paying $329 for the transmission flush, I noticed when they were pulling out my van that they were revving it up really high and I couldn't figure out why. the guy parks the van gives me the keys and tells me to have a good day. When I go to leave, I noticed my car will not go in reverse. It just read the engine up real high, but would never move while in reverse. I get out of my van to go and talk to the guy and he seems to understand that, this was an issue before he even handed me the keys. I monitor all of my vans so when there's a major problem, I get a notification on my phone. He plugs his device into the OEM socket and tells me that there's a major fail with the transmission that wasn't there before.completely dumbfounded I have to wait for the manager to get there so I can discuss what the next steps are because I didn't have this problem when I brought my van there. I had to end up, towing my van to a transmission place that tells me that I need a new transmission. Ended up costing me $3500. Now I'm not saying that my transmission likely would have had to been replaced anyway. But I find it hard to swallow the $300+ I had to pay to have it flushed out only to not be able to drive it away from their business. What bothered me more than anything is that they knew it would no longer go in reverse and said nothing to me at all. Just handed me my keys like everything was ok. I'm truly disappointed because I really liked this place. I'll no longer give them my business. read more

I started noticing everytime I pull out my drive way, there was an oil spot. Everytime I pulled out, there was a new spot dripping. I kept thinking it could be coming from my air conditioner. But I got annoyed that everytime I pulled out my driveway, there would be another spot leaking. I went to get it serviced at Lexus because if anything major was wrong, I have insurance to cover it and I could get a loaner car. The Quality of service and the customer service at the front desk has kept me as a solid client for the foreseeable future. Grease Monkey happened to be the closest oil change service while driving through town but ill be returning for all of our vehicles. The technician Bobby was extremely helpful and friendly and the service was quick. It's very clean in the waiting room with complimentary drinks and they do a quick vacuuming of the front seat floors. The little extras help them stand out. A good first impression for me! They really put the customer first. Gave me a quote of how much to expect for the service I requested. The service includes vacuuming the interior and cleaning the windows. Provided me with a maintenance list summary of what needs to be done in the future according to California standards, not included in the service I came in for. The owner is really very helpful and I appreciated the care he performed on my vehicle. Definitely recommendable to my friends and family. When I have to come back a few minutes after leaving their parking lot, the owner came to me and asked, "is there anything wrong"? I said, "I just came back for my water bottle I left on the chair." I went for my oil change and within 20 minutes they changed my oil, replaced the air filter, vacuumed my car, washed my windows, explained everything to me with utmost professionalism, and I left with a hot cup of good coffee and no worries. Please do yourself a favor and go here. I cannot recommend this place enough. I did not catch the gentleman's name who helped me but he rang me up and if he does not own this franchise he should. Do not be fooled by the good reviews, the good reviews were based on the previous ownership! This place has a new owner and all new staff and it is ran horribly! The prices increased and the staff do poor work. I took my car there and they left bolts off of my protective cover that hides my oil pan. They were too lazy too put them all back on. And they charged me extra money for a basic oil filter that is not even good quality. I always took all my cars here and previously gave a 5 star review for here, but that was with the previous ownership. The grease monkey now is ran like crap! The place is a rip off and poor workmanship! STAY AWAY! read more

my lady and i recently moved and so we had to look for a new place to get our oil changed. i found grease monkey on yelp and happened to be going to costco that day so it worked out perfectly. the service is excellent! free drinks, no pressure, knowledgeable staff, quick service. that's pretty much what you're looking for in an oil change place. their prices aren't bad. you could probably find something cheaper, but i'd say they're about average price. plus they usually have a $10 or 10% off coupon on their website, which i have used twice now. they really don't seem like they're trying to pressure you into feeling bad and getting everything on your car fixed and spending a fortune. they tell you what's recommended or coming up schedule-wise on your vehicle and will ask if you want any additional services, but they don't push back if you say, "no." now, i haven't gone in when there was something seriously up with my car so i don't know how they'd handle that. i would hope that they would let me know if something urgently needed attention. for now, i think i found my new oil change spot. read more
