I always have a good experience here and being that it's walk in only I feel like the wait time is generally reasonable. Today however was the cherry on top! I didn't realize they closed at 4 and pulled up at about 3:45 pm. I fully (and understandably) expected them to tell me I'd have to come back. However, Leanne went above and beyond and made sure I got my car serviced and I was still out of there just after 4 pm. I was getting ready to go on a trip and I needed quick service on my transmission fluid flush. A friend had talked positively about this location so I thought I'd give it a try. I was greeted very quickly by the service attendant, who asked several good questions to understand my requirements and let me know that he's also gonna check out the other fluids to see if anything needed to be addressed. The other guy inside walked me through some of the costs and let me know that he would follow up with any of the items that they felt I might need. We ended up also doing the differential fluids. And I was good to good to go. I sat outside and had a good eye on the work as it was being done and I could tell that the manager was checking in on all the work, which may be feel good. Final price point was good, as I had compared cost with my local repair shop and they had actually quoted me a price that was double what I ended up paying for the transmission fluid work. read more

I was in need of an oil change for my car. Firestone really ruined their chances with me with terrible service . I remembered I had been here once before and they were fast and gave great service so I decided to try them out again. I called and asked what their availability was like for oil changes, and they said it was first come first serve. When I pulled up they said it would be 20 minutes wait time, 20 minutes to service my car. I walked less than a one minute walk to my nail salon to get a manicure. They were done with my vehicle before I was done with my manicure, talk about fast service. When I came back to pick up my car the check out process was quick and easy. This will be my new go to place when I need anything done to my car. They have a waiting room with coffee and a tv, as well as a car wash with great prices. read more

I dropped in to get the oil changed on my Fleet Managed work truck. They said they don't work with Holman Fleet Management. Obviously, the tech didn't know how to operate his handheld pad. I know for a fact that they do because I called the company that manages our fleet before I went there, and Grease Monkey and Firestone are two service locations that they allow us to take our trucks to. But, I didn't want to argue with the tech and risk them vandalizing my company vehicle because this location looked sketchy anyway, so I called over to the location at Buckley Rd & Mexico and they were happy to take my business and confirmed that Grease Monkey works with Holman Fleet Management all the time. I don't know if this location is franchised or company owned, but they need to address this location. read more

At first when I pulled up to the garage the man who came up to me was acting like I was waiting his time because I asked for an oil change then he told me and my friend to wait in the lobby and left so we went in the lobby and he came back in the lobby and rudely told me he needed my keys. The only thing that I'll give them points for is for making it a quick oil change and the man who helped me at the end was very polite. But after I got home I got out of my car and saw that my hood wasn't closed all the way so I had to open it and check to see if anything was wrong thankfully nothing was but I just don't understand how you cannot close the hood to a car correctly after working on it. The manager at this location lied to me about the condition of my vehicle because he did not want to preform a simple service on it. Just straight to my face; man to man tried to concoct a explanation for his reasoning. With all of my years working on and keeping my vehicle in tip top shape. I came in for oil and transmission change. After waiting an hour and a half my car was only half finished. They can only do the oil change because they do not have enough transmission fluid. This was a huge waste of time because now I have to come back or go somewhere else. If they would've told me upfront I would've just went somewhere else and not wasted my day. Time of Day: Late afternoon, with the sun finally peaking through all the clouds from the last few days. Location: Green Valley Ranch Grease Monkey Type of service: A car wash before a business event. That's right a simple car wash! I arrived, no line..YEAH, pulled into the brush-less section(have to keep my without the dreaded brush marks) I selected a deluxe wash for 8 bucks and placed my card in the machine..I'm happy, machine works and then...wait for it....the "dreaded" please see attendant for receipt. Okay we've all been there..you get mad actually ticked because you did not want to get out of your vehicle and see the "attendant". Wash was complete. I dried it off admired the clean...walked in..and then.... " Hi what can I do for you?" " Hey, I just washed my car and I didn't get a receipt, so I'd like a copy of my charge" Pause..." well I can give you a copy of what you paid but not your actually cc charge" This is me pausing and then say "No, I would like to have a copy of the charge on my credit card, just to be sure as to what was charged" Okay you can figure the rest out...Reasons: 1. I can't do it 2. this is all I can do. 3. WELLLLLLL So is this your business? Yes, then you have keys and you perform maintenance on the car wash payment device? I got the look of huh? Okay..Bottom line I was upset..he obviously doesn't' manage the property or know how it works and FRANKLY, HE DOESN'T CARE! Took my car in about 2 months ago for an oil change, it went smoothly and I was on my way within an hour. Fast forward to yesterday, 07/23/2020, got in my car and the car was stuttering and shaking while I drove, I knew something was wrong. So I took it into this location to see if they could do a complete check of my car. They took a look at it, and after about 5 min they were done and told me everything looked fine. They didn't charge me a dime and I was on my way. I still knew something wasn't right so I took it to a Meineke about 4 miles away. On my way, my check engine light came on. Got to Meineke, told them what was going on and they did their complete diagnostic checkup. Turns out when I got my oil changed at Grease Monkey 2 months back they tightened my oil filter housing way to tight causing a noticeable oil leak under my hood. My ignition coil, spark plugs and iridium plug were all damaged and had to be replaced. How the employees at Grease Monkey couldn't see this earlier that morning is crazy to me, which leads me to believe they saw it and knew that this was all their faults and just sent me on my way. A simple oil change ended up costing me 1200$ in the end. I strongly urge anyone reading this to not take your car to this location and take it to a real professional who knows what they are doing! Not surprised to see all the negative reviews. I went here on Friday, July 22 at 2:45pm. Each bay had a car in it and there were 4 cars ahead of me. They said it would be about an hour. Since my oil light was on I decided I better wait. After 30 minutes, not one car had left or entered a bay, nor had a single employee been out to talk to anyone in the waiting area. Not sure what the hell they were doing but I decided to wait no longer. Luckily I was not blocked in so I was able to hop in my car and leave. I went to the Grease Monkey at 1527 Peoria St, Aurora, CO 80010. These guys are great!! Both bays were occupied with one car ahead of me and we were all finished and on our way within 25 minutes. So I went to run errands today, stopped at the grease monkey in Green Valley Ranch to wash my car since it was on the way. I noticed that when entering the car wash the left side sprayer was not working, during the wash I notice that the soap and wax were hardly visible. So after I washed my car I ran in and told the attendant who then got the Manager (Darren). He went out before coming to see me and looked at my car, he came in and told me that my car is clean and that I will not be receiving a refund but he would give me a free wash. I told him that the car was not clean and that there was an issue with the bay that I was in and that was not working properly. He told me there were no error codes and that he would not refund me since the car was clean and that there were no error codes. I told him I would not be coming back and that my car was not clean and that he should not be arguing with a customer - He told me I was not a customer since I was not going to be coming back. SO - if you go to this grease monkey on GreenValley Ranch Blvd in the King Soopers shopping center - I suggest not doing any business with them, from my experience I can tell you that if you are a customer and bring something to the managements attention they will argue with your and will not care what your issue is or a resolution to it. Yes I did email that Owner of the shop, Stephen Smith - since he did not provide a actual phone number to call him immediately, no response from him and do not think he will since it has been over 4 hours since the email. Avoid this grease monkey to show them that customers do care and that they deserve quality work. Response from owner, didn't even mention anything about the rude customer service. If you want a bunch of inexperienced, amateur a-holes to f*ck up your car, then this is the place for you! I took my car for an oil change once. A few days later, I noticed it was leaking oil. I tried tightening the oil filter and drain plug but it kept leaking. Finally I took it to Len Lyall and they told me whoever had changed the oil had lost the gasket that goes on the drain plug. How can you f**k up something so simple? Maybe I'll call them up and see if I can send my 13-year-old niece to train them on changing the oil without f*cking it up. Customer service is not great either. I recommend Tires Plus on Chambers and 40th for oil changes. I will review them sooner or later. read more

Don't go here. After years of this being our go to place for our vehicles, the last three experiences have been terrible. They say they check the tires, wiper blades, etc. and change your oil. Why do the vehicles then need to be taken somewhere else for the tires and wiper blades (torn up pretty good). Les Schwab and Firestone are the places to go. Also taking another car this morning, and they refused a discount. We have always been able to apply AAA or AARP discounts - why the rip off now? Staff was rude to my husband when he told them about our issues. Can't wait for Jiffy Lube to open and take all their business. I live in the area and will only take my car to this place. they are always super friendly and get the job done in a timely manner. They never pressure me to get extra services done, just what I ask... they recommend things, but don't pressure you into them, and everything they've ever recommended are things that I know I need to get done. I've never once had a bad experience at this location, everyone is very attentive and nice and knows what they're doing. Since I've moved here I've been coming here and the staff has always been friendly. If I have to wait an hour due to what they're doing to the cars in front of me then I usually just leave my number and get picked up. I've been pretty lucky to not have to wait too long overall. I just appreciate that they usually leave one lane for oil changes and if they're going to take long they let me know so I can go to king soopers or home or whatever. I was a frequent customer at this location and always brought in my cars to get their oil changes done here. I went in yesterday to get a oil change on my car because it was way overdue. The gentleman that helped me told me I was not due for an oil change yet which seemed odd to me because I was way past my miles already. He informed me that regardless they can take my car in and take a look at it. Once they were done taking a look at my car he told me that my car does need an oil change but it doesn't. How does that work? That made absolutely no sense, so I asked him to explain it to me and he said that my car has no oil so it needs an oil change but I don't need one. I was very confused, and the gentleman looked confused himself. So I asked him the price for synthetic and it was $80 before tax. NO THANK YOU. I grabbed my keys and went to the jiffy lube just down the road and paid $56 TOTAL for my oil change. They should hire people who know what they're doing. read more

This store manager needs to train its employees. Even basic knowledge would be helpful. We brought in our 2013 Toyota for an oil change on Veterans day. I had a coupon for a free oil change which they would not honor because it was from a different store. We were also advised to take the vehicle to Toyota because their service could void the warranty, which is absolutely not correct. They ended up doing the oil change and the service was complete crap. They partially cleaned the inside and windows. I will never use nor recommend this location. read more

This Grease Monkey has a car wash attached to it. Buyer Beware! The rolling brush system made a 5" long gouge on the roof if my car. The owner says there's "no way" his foam brushes could possibly damage a car....but they have a damage disclaimer posted for a reason! The brushes can cause damage (or why post any disclaimer, right?). My car was gauge-free before my wash, and scratched up after. The owner says he's not responsible...and I won't be back. Nothing but kind, friendly, and courteous guys taking care of my needed lube, oil, and filter on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I hesitate going anywhere for car service except a trusted location in Littleton, but I live here and can't keep driving all that way. A few places have treated me poorly, probably due to looking younger than I really am and being female. However, the three men I spoke to here (one I'm sure was the owner, who was busting his butt outside intaking cars) were extremely kind and took extra measures to take care of me, or at least that's how I felt. One man came to me in the waiting room, told me to please not get up as I'm visibly in the third trimester of pregnancy. He showed me my air filter and replaced it as soon as I said it was ok. Then they parked my car super close so I didn't have to "waddle" too far the reclaim my car.
