Les Schwab was amazing today after an unfortunate incident with me driving over three nails (1 in the sidewall). I had originally went to Discount Tire because they're closer to my house and they tried to tell me my 2025 Subaru I bought in January needed 4 new tires because my tread was low. I didn't bother arguing because I knew I didn't trust them after that. I left and came here. Brandy immediately started checking my tires and told me my tires were perfectly fine and I only needed one new one because the tread was no where near low. She even taught me how to check the tire tread in the future. She was incredibly knowledgeable and validated my rage when I explained what Discount Tire said to me. Les Schwab Tire Center is a little more expensive than other auto repair places, but the quality of their work is excellent. Yesterday was a cold, snowy day, and driving out on the bad roads my car picked up a nail and pretty soon my tire was flat. Late on a Saturday afternoon, with 15 customers ahead of me, they were happy to fix my tire before they closed at 5pm that night. Best of all, it was complimentary! Went to go get an alignment done. Was there for over an hour. Then was told I needed a left control arm for the wheel. Said that would order the part and it's been a week and no call from them. I recently was close to this particular location and as I have recently purchased 2 sets of tires from this company I have been taken advantage of thier free tire rotation program. So anyway stopped in to check on the possibility of doing a walk in and was informed that it would be around 90 minutes at least so I must have had a troubled expression on my face so the associate responded with a 'but' if you'd like ,and have some errands to run we can text you and let you know when your vehicle is next in line. Nice. I than tried to run some errands but alot is not open at 930 in the morning. Winded up returning to the facility after about an hour grabbed a table and chair and relaxed. Pretty busy place on the day I was there, but nice little touch with fresh popcorn and coffee for customers. The services I requested were a tire rotation and a opinion on if I needed an alignment as was recommended by another shop that I had diagnose my truck for some odd idling patterns. Anyway the tech called my name and gave me the news that some front end work is recommended but that the tires were not being affected by the parts in need of replacement. And as I'm trying to keep my baby going for a few more months until I buy a new truck which I'm excited for but not excited about the payment I told him I would hold off. I appreciate the fact that they did not try to pressure me into getting it done and save me some money. Overall pretty happy with switching over from Firestone as I went to them for years. I usually go to the Brighton location which is also busy and you usually need to book a couple days out for services and I've never seen popcorn in the popcorn machine and you have to ask for the coffee pods but the Manager, Dan is very personable. Went in not even a month ago. I scheduled an alignment, balance and tire rotation. I waited 3 hours and all they did was "align" my car. I was already upset that they didn't do everything | asked in a span of 3 hours I waited. considering | scheduled an appointment 2 days prior. 2 weeks go by and my car is squeaky and it's bad, even worse as I reverse so l find a local mechanic. I couldn't deal with the noise for 1 day. Thankfully, this guy knows what he is actually looking at!! First thing my mechanic told me was my tire was SHAKING.... mino you l am a single mother, I drive my car with MY 3 YEAR OLD. That is DANGEROUS. Have I waited, it could've ended up FATAL. Called to get a quote to replace my brakes replaced when I bring my vehicle in to have the winter tires changed over and have an alignment done, but they won't give me a quote without inspecting it. I already know that I want all new pads and rotors, so what is to inspect? The representative on the phone didn't even bother to inquire as to what I might have needed, she just went straight to "we're not blind quoting over the phone, we need to inspect it." I was in the car business for 35 years. There is no harm in giving out an initial estimate and letting the client know it could be more if they find something else once the vehicle is actually brought in. I did this all the time in the 10 plus years that I wrote service and the 5 years that I managed the service department of a dealership. I guess it was too much of a hassle for them. Best place in Aurora to get your tires changed, best service around. Employees are extremely friendly, respectful and helpful! I showed up as they were closing with a fleet vehicle. They didn't rush me out and insisted on waiting at least 10 minutes to see if it would get approved before leaving with an appointment scheduled. It got approved and they swapped all four tires almost as quick as a NASCAR pitstop 20 minutes after closing! Today is my second visit to this location and it's the second disappointing experience I've had here. I brought a vehicle in for tires and an alignment and they only did the tires. We didn't have time to wait for them to get the vehicle back in that day to do it. Today, I scheduled an alignment for 2pm and when I arrived they had no idea I was coming, and now I'm stuck waiting for them to squeeze it in between other jobs? Very unprofessional and sad. Do yourself a favor and find a better tire shop. **update** I just left the shop after an alignment and now the vehicle pulls hard to the right. this location used to be great, previous managers and techs were on it!! last few times I've been there it's been nothing but issues. 1. missing oil change appointments 2. they over tightened the oil drain plug on my Range Rover and the other les schwab location manages to finish it off and stripped it. I just had the best experience at this place today. My low tire pressure sensor had been on for a few days and after looking multiple times for the what the problem Could have been and refilling air every other day, I finally decided to take it in to get looked at. I brought my Subaru in on a Friday afternoon expecting them to tell me to come back in a few days. I explained my issue to the receptionist and asked if I could be seen today. I could tell she felt bad...but I was going to have to wait about an hour. About 45 minutes later I saw a tech go to the parking lot and take my car to the garage. Not long after that a very nice guy named Carlos came into the waiting area and called me to the cash register. "Yeah, we just saw a small screw in your tire. We got that out and put a patch on it. Do you need a receipt?" I said sure, if that's ok. He went to the printer and came back with a printed receipt that said $0.00 due. I asked if it was free...The regular charge was $20 which I had no problem paying. He said yes, just come back in the future for any other needs for my car. THIS. This is my first time coming to Les Schwab and it will also be my last. I had quite a few repairs that needed to be done on my car (front end, oil change, filter replacement, alignment) and given that, I expected to have to leave my car here for the duration of the day. That said, I expected that when I called for a time update and was told to show up at 6:00pm when the shop closes that the work would be done and I would be able to pick up my car. Especially given that it is our only car (and I communicated that to staff) so when I got here via rideshare I was stuck here until my car was finished. At 5:58, I walked in and gave my name and the person who was helping me came back and told me that there was someone ahead of me and that they would have to finish up work on their car before even starting my car. Even then, I get it, schedules get busy and unexpected things come up, but she and the other person were incredibly rude to me, making a joke about how I could hang out here and essentially saying they'd get to it when they got to it. There was no apology. No time update until I asked and was given a vague, non-answer and a smirk. Time is valuable. Everyone's time. Mine. Theirs. Yours. And, when you waste someone's time (especially when they are paying you over $1,000) you should at the very least apologize and acknowledge the impact you have had on another person. I can't speak to the work that was done on my car because I'm still sitting at the shop waiting for my car to be finished, but the service alone warrants this rating. I am a Costco manager , we have very high standards for customer service . I have always left with a smile on my face from les Schwab off of tower . The first time I purchased lift and it turned out great , I did have to follow up again because one of the shocks came loose , this was about a year later , I knew that had the warranty for defective parts , but still thought they would charge labor , when I picked up my vehicle there was no charge and I am back in the road . Called the day before to make appointment for oil change. System wasn't responsive, so after three attempts, he finally offers to write down my information and tells me he will put me in once system is working again. So I come for my appointment, and they have no record of me. Ok. They set me up as having an 8am appointment and I'm in and out in 35 min minutes. Thats great on time. I felt the full service oil change at $99 was way too pricey. And only other option offered to me was a full synthetic oil change at $69. Ouch. Car came from factory with semi-synthetic. So where is that option? Only really new model cars come fully synthetic, and not all of them? They were very professional and place looked great inside. Bathrooms were clean as well. I made an appointment for a oil change; first with the one on Mississippi, tells me would check the depth of tire tread beforehand for tire rotation?! I the called and went to Girard and Buckley, across from Kohls, I go to Kohls to look for some items. I received a call from Dave; tells me they plug was cut and rounded off..??!!!would have to removed for additional $50 dollars, cabin filter change added for $45-$50 dollars!! I would be paying $200 +!! I don't believe the plug had been cut and rounded down!! Previous oil change I had done was by the Subaru dealer! Went in to get some tires mounted when i dropped Off said was $484 said ok when i picked It up they charged me double said ohh u should of bought them from us and would of been free we charge more and they didn't quote you right well they should of called and advised price was different they just lost a account of 50 trucks and we will no longer take any costumers or refer to them not good business. Is there an option for a sixth star? I brought my 2007 F150 in for a front end alignment. It wasn't pulling or showing any unusual behavior but I just put new tires on it and I figured that with over 83,000 miles it was probably due. Thirty minutes later it's out of the shop and good to go. I was informed that the alignment was prefect and no work was needed. Best of all there was NO CHARGE! I fully expected to pay for their time and the fact that they put my truck on the lift and performed all the measurements. They didn't try to sell me new knuter valves or radiator throw-out bearings, they didn't rotate the air in my tires or top off the blinker fluid and they didn't try to extract any Benjamins from my wallet. This is my first time dealing with Les Schwab and already they've earned my respect as a customer. Their store is exceptionally clean, the staff is courteous and polite and their honesty is difficult to find in today's world of auto repair scams. Thanks guys, I'll be back. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. Last minute we decided to take our 4runner on a long distance trip due to weather so I wanted to make sure it was topped off and had an oil change before we left. Of course the dealership couldn't get us in so I went to this location. Upon picking up the 4runner, I noticed it was shaking a bit and it was slipping. Because it was snowing, I hought it was me driving on snow but the more I drove it it was slipping. Like it almost didn't want to accelerate. Then coming to a stop it would shake a little before stopping. It was already 6 pm when I went to go pick it up so I thought they were closed. Sadly I drove it home and had my husband drive it and he said the transmission was slipping. Our 4runner is a 2017 32k miles it should not have issues with the transmission. I called les schwab and demanded my money back because when we looked at it, they didn't eveb top off any fluids and now the transmission is slipping. I was going to drive this car out of town with but unfortunately, we had to take another car and made an appt with Toyota for after our trip. When Toyots inspected the vehicle, les schwab had drained all the transmission fluid and over filled the oil. Who does this???? Now we're never sure if it'll have future problems to the transmission due to thier lack of knowledge of changing oil. If they don't know how to do a service, don't accept the vehicle. I trusted them with my vehicle, never again. read more
