My husband came in for help removing his drain plug since it was stripped and too tight. We had gone to another company, but they weren't able to remove it and were worried it might strip even more. Service took a bit longer than I wanted as they didn't have the correct oil for my truck. The manager had to go and pick some up at the parts store and must have took the scenic route back and took an extra hour. But the tech that performed the service was upfront and courteous. He was very apologetic for the wait which was not his fault. What I was most impressed with was the young Hispanic tech who cashed me out and how he handled an extremely rude customer. This customer cut right in front of me as I was standing at the counter to pay and was irate about the cost of an oil change and took his frustrations out on the young man. If you're gonna drive an $80,000 one ton diesel pickup, you should probably know what it's gonna cost to get an oil change. The employees don't set the prices they just work there. They also tell you when you check in the approximate cost. He acted like a fool, and the young man handled him very professionally. I'd be lying if I didn't chuckle at the Insta Karma that occurred with declined card after card after card. Other than not having the correct oil on hand, I had a pretty good experience and employees were very professional. Will be back. read more

My partner and I took her car in for a very routine oil change. The wait time was about normal, but they came in with her air filter and it looked like it had a been damaged by them after it had been removed. Ontop of the air filter they placed her dip stick in the wrong way, so it cause the oil to spill over the top and caused us concern for an oil leak. The oil filter was loose and they had broken a panel to get to the oil filter and didn't even take the time to fix it, had we not heard it rubbing against the tire we would have never known. The service itself was fine, but I'm just a little frustrated with this shop because I told the person who greeted me not to add the $24.99 oil system cleaner. After I paid, I noticed a charge for the system cleaner on the receipt. I went back in to see if they actually did run the cleaner and apparently they did and there was some sort of communication breakdown among the team. Since I received the service, I'm happy to pay for it, but c'mon guys. Not cool. read more

Well, I can see why this place gets 2 1/2 stars. I requested a full synthetic oil change and ask them to air up my tires to 35 pounds. They were very fast and they did not try to up sell me, which gives them bonus points. However, when I went out to the car my tires still read the same pressure as when I took it in so I went back inside and said that and they said I had to drive it for a few miles for the sensors to read the new pressure. I drove like 6 miles and the pressure did not change so they did not air up my tires like I asked. Before I left I asked if they had reset the service mileage And the guy said "yes they should have done that", but that was not done either. So my recommendation if you use this place is to double check all the things you want done before you leave. read more

10/10 would not recommend. First off, one of the mechanics was more concerned with hitting on me than he was with checking me in for service. I took my car to this location for an oil change and tire rotation and balance. After my car was serviced I had to return it twice more for my car shaking. The first time I took it back the mechanic told me my tire was mounted at an angle but assured me the problem was fixed. I left with my car and immediately took it back as the problem was not resolved. The mechanic went on to blame the problem on whoever serviced my car previously however I had never had issues with my car prior to taking it to this location. He then informed me there was nothing more he could do for me or tell me to resolve the issue with my car. Needless to say I left with my vehicle worse off than it was when I brought it in. read more

this grease monkey ruined my engine. I went in for an oil change Oct 2022. it's January 2023. They had my car in their shop for 40 mins and put a sticker on my windshield. THEY NEVER PUT OIL IN MY CAR AND NOW I HAVE ENGINE PARTS IN MY OIL PAN. The owner refuses to help me. This shop has a multitude of cases just like this. Worst customer service in town. They refuse to do my oil change, claiming they have no oil filter for my vehicle. Yet the O'Reilly a block away, with whom they have an account with, has plenty of oil filters for my vehicle. This is the 6th time this has happened to me at a Grease Monkey in Greeley/Garden City. The last 2 times I contacted the district manager to let them know what is happening and apparently they don't care either because the district manager refuses to contact me back. So generally I buy a groupon and pay about $40-$60 for my oil changes. Their done quickly and I'm not propositioned for all the upsells that make you wonder how sincere the need really is. My oil change took much longer than expected (they were busy- it was a weekend). I was mostly disappointed when I had to pay and found out my oil change cost $100. For half the price and faster service, I'll be going elsewhere in the future. The service was professional and polite, just not worth the wait or charge. read more

I have been using this location for oil changes for 3 plus years. I thought I needed an alternator and went in for a diagnostic, turns out it was something else. The price was quite a bit lower, I feel certain that had I gone to a few other places in town I would have gotten the alternator as well as the smaller issue. Chris diagnosed and fix the problem quickly and efficiently. From now on this is where I will come for diagnostic services. Thanks so much! read more

Worst experience ever. Would actually give negative stars, if I could. Had to go back because they didn't put in the oil plug and service sucked. NO concern about COVID safety. Ive been here a couple times to get my oil changed as well as my girlfriends. Both times the service has been friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient (three key words for a oil change place!). This place is a garbage hole. There are no certified mechanics in the shop. The manager, if she gets off her phone, likes to talk in circles and add extra costs. Plus she hates giving discounts. The cost per service is not worth it. To ensure you get what you pay for I would HIGHLY recommend buying your own oil, if you have to go to any Grease Monkey INC. or FULL SPEED AUTOMOTIVE then taking it to them. They have a REALLY BAD HABBIT of running out of expensive oil and charging to expensive price for conventional oil. My daughter, who wears a hearing aid, indicated that she'll never go there again, due to the staff, who commented on her disability. In addition, they sold her an air filter which if purchased locally would have cost $10 - they charged $30+. Nice markup. Oh, and my exotic 5/20 oil required an additional fee too. Location changed staff. Very disorganized. I was second in line. After a few minutes I saw my car in the bay. An associate came in and showed me my air fiter and said " that it looked clean and didn't need to be replaced." Then my car was pulled out of the bay and driven to the front of the shop. I was under the impression my car was ready to go. 15 minutes pass and a customer that came in after me had paid and gone. I asked when will my car be ready.. the what i presumed to be the manager said that she would check. She came back and said it was ready. She proceeded to ring me up and i noticed i was being charged for an air filter i didnt have replaced and told her so. A mechanic came in and she asked why my car was parked in the front of the store? I didn't stick around to hear that excuse because i was already pissed that i was there for a total time of 45 minutes especially when my car was ready to go in 20 minutes. Then the kicker ... 5 of my lug nut caps were missing, They didnt vacuum, wash any of the windows, it needed wiper blades and they weren't replaced nor was i asked! The services that this location used to offer has went down hill Fast ! This location was out of just about everything. They were calling O'Reilly and Auto Zone for stuff and speaking loud enough that the customers heard this. I can say for myself, I won't be heading back to this Grease Monkey location in the future! read more

Update: only 1 day after I took my truck in for service as previously mentioned, the 'check coolant level' message appeared. I checked my receipt and the checklist said the coolant was checked and good. When I checked the coolant level myself, it was 1" low from recommended levels on a HOT engine. There is no way my coolant was checked. Again, this place should be avoided at all costs. They do not take the steps necessary to protect one of your largest investments. read more

I got my oil changed here in Oct 2012. Everything went fine. The guys were really nice. It was quick. The only thing that bugged me was their insistence to come back in less than 3k miles. After all, I had gotten synthetic and should be fine for at least another 5k. Whatever, I'll go in at 5k. No problems, right? Wrong. This location doesn't do a $10 discount with a King Soopers card and since I was in Fort Collins, I dropped by another Grease Monkey there. What was going to be a 15 minute oil change turned into a 90 min ordeal through no fault of theirs. You see, my serpentine belt--which empowers a lot of other devices within the car I happen to enjoy, like my alternator--was within an inch of its life. The belt had dry-rotted and cracked every half-inch around its entire loop. This kind of wear doesn't happen within the 2 months I waited between changes. This particular Grease Monkey on 10th St in Greeley totally missed it OR just didn't tell me. So I'll be making the trek to Fort Collins whenever I need a simple oil change. I simply don't trust these guys to tell me what's going on with my car. Oooh, the air filter is dirty. Yeah, I can replace that myself, thanks. read more

this was my first time using them, my only complaint is they didn't ask me what type of oil change or other services I wanted. this may be due to the fact that when I pulled up, I couldn't see anyone, so I parked and went inside. I poked my head into the garage and let them know I wanted a full synthetic oil change. Leesa was very nice and friendly. She walked me through everything they did to my car. These guys got me right in and even accepted a Valpak coupon from Windsor for $10 off. I can't guarantee you they will do it for everybody but the guy was real nice. Don't take your vehicle here. The first time I took my work truck here. They said I had a fog light out after 20 min I had to go put the dang thing in my self. For some reason they couldn't get the socket to clip in...... i figured well maybe they are all new and just we're having a off day. Second time i went in the my battery was low every morning. I ask them to swap it out while they change the oil. Wow i should have figured.... I drove about a 100miles shortly after that jumped out of my truck to work on some equipment came back truck wouldn't start...... neg cable was left loose and popped off. 3rd and last time. Watching them closely while they were changing my oil. Person up top started my truck with out and oil filter on! Come on where is the communication. Needless to say there was oil all over my skid plates. Never again ! read more

He stated he would call me if she needed anything else besides an oil change. He was waiting for her when she arrived and gave her great, speedy, service. He called me back afterwards to let me know that the job was completed and that no additional services were required at this time. Amazing service with a personal touch that exceeded my expectations. Bottom line...just avoid Grease Monkey. The employees have no clue what customer service is and are nothing short of unprofessional. On top of that, the services are way over priced. You can go to the dealership and get the same oil change service (plus a free tire rotation) for half of the cost. Save your money! read more

Friendly enough however the car started faltering BADLY when we drove away. They had not put the air cleaner on properly. A few days later, fluid lights all on in the car...they were supposed to do full service yet failed to fill our washer and antifreeze fluids. This is NOT a good Grease Monkey and does disservice to a good franchise name! read more

Not Happy, Was due for a oil change always go to the dealership but just didn't feel like driving to Fort Collins so thought I would go here this time just an oil change. So first of all they said my oil filter was special so it would be 10.00 additional ok whatever. Then I was told that jeep required full synthetic oil, the dealership has never told me this once. So this oil change ended up costing $103.98. When I get it done at the dealership it's 37.00. I will be driving to the dealership no matter what. read more

Last time I went into a Grease Monkey, when rotating the tires a lug nut and stem was broken on a wheel, I go the the other grease monkey today and start driving before making it out the parking lot I have a nail in 1 tire and the valve stem broken on my other tire and two flats I didn't have before. And if there's something wrong with the car that they can't fix, they have a garage that they recommend that is on the same level as them. I hate giving a negative review, but I have to here. I had the oil and filter changed in my car. I checked the oil with the dipstick when I got home. The oil was very dark. I went to the store and bought oil and filter. Drained the oil and changed the filter. The oil that came out of the car was VERY dark. After adding the new oil the oil on the dipstick was nearly clear, as it should be. I have no idea what's going on at this store, but it is not good. read more
