So, I was surprised they got right to my tire and twenty minutes later he said I was ready to go. The surprise? No bill. They patched my tire for free. I can see a business doing this for a loyal customer but for a complete stranger that had never darkened their door previously? To say the least, I was impressed. ORIGINAL: Very nice staff but I'm bummed about my experience here... I felt like the quote was wildly high. I was able to get the brakes changed myself over the weekend with an experienced mechanic friend. When we looked at the rotors, they were not worn as was stated needing replaced, but instead were in great shape. The front break pads also needed changed and were very worn. I was told it was just the back and fronts were great. Was able to get it all done for $150 by just changing the brake pads with a friend. I was quoted about $750 for just the rears changed out. My red flag that I was just getting many things suggested to get done and charge me as a customer that I didn't need was when I was told I needed a new engine filter and cabin filter... something I had just changed out myself a few months prior. Please be kinder to future guests. I'm a teacher and don't just have $2400 to throw at unnecessary repairs and maintenance as was quoted to me. My decision to not go with the suggested services was affirmed when I was sitting in the waiting room and hearing one managers talk to his office managers in the back room about how to build rapport with customers to sell more services by "controlling the conversation". Great oil change price, however, with their coupon. But I'm convinced they just have that to get customers in the door.
