I ran over a screw while south bound on Sheridan. I could feel the car starting to pull to the right and my right front air pressure sensor lit up. But, guess what? This tire shop was forty yards ahead. I turned in and parked my car near the front office. Keep in mind, I'm not a customer of this business and have never been there before. So, I was surprised they got right to my tire and twenty minutes later he said I was ready to go. The surprise? No bill. They patched my tire for free. I can see a business doing this for a loyal customer but for a complete stranger that had never darkened their door previously? To say the least, I was impressed. They even gave a taco truck in the parking lot and I placed an order while I was waiting. Guess what? When it's new tire time I will absolutely shop Lightning Tire. Went to Lightning to have a set of tires swapped out on my truck. Maurisio was quick, efficient, and friendly even though he was the only person working at the time. Took care of everyone that dropped by in a timely a professional fashion. Excellent price for service. He set me up with a locking lug set on the cheap also which is awesome and the truck rides smoother that when I went in, with piece of mind that if I have any issue to bring it back in. I am a Jeep guy who is critical of service shops, I needed a custom fitment and Mauricio was willing to order tires for my approval, they didn't work out, so we ordered a different set and they are great. I got Milestar Patagoina AT Pro's. The tires a re very nice and the service that Lighting gives is second to none, friendly and courteous. Above all they know what they are doing, I brought my ride in for a rotation over the weekend and installed wheel spacers and Sumo Spring coil helpers. They did all the work for a reasonable price. These guys are the real deal. I came in needing to get my tires balanced, and they're extremely fast and great at what they do. All my tires are balanced and perfect. AND, when I was going to leave my truck wouldn't start. I wasn't sure what the problem was so they helped me diagnose it and Maurisio even called a mobile mechanic to help me solve the proble. They even went to the auto store and got me the necessary part, and fixed my truck for me! Needed some tires replaced immediately and found this shop that was still open. Service was great, the young guy there was very helpful. However, I wouldn't say he knew exactly what he was talking about or if he did know and was just trying to make a quick sell. We asked for two, all season used tires for our car. They didn't have the size we originally wanted but he found two of another size which didn't make a huge difference and we agreed to purchase them. Fast forward to 2 months later, we went into Firestone to get all 4 tires replaced by new ones and asked the associates there to save the 2 used tires we had recently purchased at Lightning Tire in case we needed spares for any reason, since they were still in good condition. Once the job was done, I was told by the associates there that the associates at Lightning Tire sold us 1 all season tire and 1 snow tire, so this whole time we were riding around the city with an incorrect tire. Definitely disappointed since we trusted Lightning Tire, unfortunately I won't be coming back. Just a heads up to anyone buying tires there, double check what they're selling you! read more
