I had a wonderful experience today at this location on Remington. Meranda is wonderful and excellent at explaining what needs to be done. Her customer service is second to none. She is very kind, educated, cordial, and a wonderful person to speak with in general. I also noticed how helpful she was with the entire crew. Honestly everyone I interacted with was kind and I never felt pressured. They did an excellent job changing the oil on my best friends truck. It has been sitting for quite a while and they did not try to oversell me, force me, or push me to purchase something that I did not need. I would definitely recommend coming to this Grease Monkey. The timing was impeccable. I literally was able to get in and out in 20 minutes over a lunch break. They were also kind enough to offer me a coupon as I was paying for this to help a friend who's having a tough time financially and needed help with this service. I will definitely be back! I pulled up to get an oil change for my 4runner and the technicians working there immediately looked at me like I just shot their dog and ruined their lives. They all gave me strange looks, despite just asking for a normal oil change and a tire rotation that they couldn't accommodate because their baby was too small, which is fine. Maybe I'm missing something, but is there some unwritten rule about getting your oil changed at certain times of days or what car you bring to an oil change? I just couldn't help but feel like I didn't belong here and that they really did not want to help me out with getting my car serviced. I don't know if I broke an unwritten rule, or if they just really are not happy to be there at their job. Maybe I did something wrong? read more

Very quick service and pretty reasonably priced. The only thing that made me drop down a star was because of something odd that happened at checkout. I pull up my coupon for "20.25" off for the new year, but the person checking me out said that that one wasn't working without even checking it. The coupon did not expire till February. The reason I found it odd was because the lady in front of me used the exact some coupon and got the discount. I had to use the one that was only $7 off. I just thought that was a little strange. Overall, good experience, but not sure if I would go back because of that weird interaction. read more

I received a call from the VP of operations after my earlier complaint regarding an oil leak after my visit to Grease Monkey. He asked me bring my car right in so they could make it right. I did that.... Was met by the very cordial manager who immediately took care of my car.... Found a bent gasket, replaced it and it's now 24 hours later....NO OIL LEAK. I'm sure this can be checked and should be as I have been a loyal and consistent customer here for at least 10 years getting almost every oil change as needed with full synthetic. I even go out of my way as it may be easier to go to other places while on the road or at work locations, but I come here as it is a known service. Never again! The last 3 times have gotten worse each time. It's been the same guy who checks my vehicle in and he is rude and abrasive each time. Never asks how you are doing, but whatever, guess he just needs to know how to do quality service on the vehicle, not with customers. However, my most recent visit was insulting. I wanted to say something at the time, but chose not to make a scene in front of other customers as I choose to treat others with respect. My truck was caught outside with the windows cracked the night before, which caused some moisture to get inside. Not bad, just that moisture smell that went away by the end of the day as it dried. Other than that, my truck is spotless inside and out and just washed prior to the oil change. As I was standing right next to the vehicle when the employee got in to bring it into the garage, after he abrasively said, "keys in it?". I heard him say rather loudly, as the windows were down. "It f$&king stinks in here you stupid f$&king b&$ch." I get employees may talk about customers, but at least make sure they are not mere feet away from the vehicle when saying it. Nope, never again, still don't understand why I didn't say something to the nicer gentlemen who checked me out, but didn't want to go over it in a room full of customers. Think I'll spend my $100.00 every few months somewhere else, along with the rest of my friends as well or just change the oil myself, what a joke of an example of customer service. read more

The gentleman who assisted me was very nice and was not trying to talk me into any unnecessary services. I appreciated that the techs pulled out my air and cabin filter to show me how disgusting they were. They should continue this practice so that car owners understand why they need to change them. I just had my oil changed this morning and was charged $73.99 for the synthetic oil that I was aware of going in. However, when settling the bill I was also charged $15.00 for "Bottled Oil Charge" plus $18.98 for "Kendall Syn Euro 5/40". I was told the $73.99 only covers their "house synthetic", and I was sold the "custom" oil that I never asked for or would have wanted. So the oil change ended up costing $107.97 plus tax. Those kind of deceitful practices cost you good customers. I won't be back and will be sure to tell all of my friends. read more

I've been going to this location for the past couple years with no issue. Every time I've brought my own oil and filter, again with no issue. This time, however, the gentlemen asking for my miles and name seemed to have forgot. I specifically said I have my own oil and filter. It was the very first thing I said. About 15 minutes later, I hear "we're already done with the oil change I didn't know he had his own oil." An employee approached me, I'm guessing a manager of sort, and told me they would use my oil if I liked and I said yes. After the oil change was done, I was told my oil and filter had been used. After driving for 5 minutes my truck began to smell like burning oil. I pulled over and noticed a decent amount of oil all over the engine and headers. On top of that, I noticed the filter I bought was not used. I immediately went back and told them about it. Another employee told me he wasn't aware of the oil and filter I brought. The box I brought with said oil and filter was sitting right in the quick bay...so in stead of apologizing for the mistake and giving my oil back, they "misplaced" my oil and proceeded to say they didn't know it was there and gave me their semi synthetic oil. Lapse in communication and misinformation all around. All in all, a disappointment since I was going there for a while. Business going elsewhere. 5/10. read more

I thought i was never gonna go back and they would keep my money, however The owner of establishment managed to call me and reimburse me and my girlfriend with a free oil changes! I took my car here for a routine oil change and after about a week my "Engine pressure low" warning flashed up on my console while driving home. I pulled off the road to check the oil only to find nothing on the dipstick. Bone dry. I put in a couple quarts to make it home and brought my car back to Grease Monkey the next day. I told Jason, the manager, what was going on and they pulled it in to take a look at it. Turns out the gasket got pinched when they replaced the filter which caused the oil to leak out. Jason replaced the filter and changed the oil free of charge and even offered to clean up any oil stains if I had any at my house (I rent downtown and it's all street parking so this wasn't necessary). He apologized for the inconvenience and explained that he knew my time was valuable and offered a credit towards my next service! There are a lot of horror stories out there about people getting ripped off at other quick lube establishments, but Jason runs a top notch shop with a focus on customer service and standing by their work. All of the employees here are courteous and friendly. Several came out to give me an update on my car and to personally apologize for the inconvenience. Can't help but say it again, but the customer service here rocks! read more

Less hustle and more hassle.(yes you read that right) Absolutely ridiculous, I have never experienced worse customer service in my entire life. I felt the employees treated me as dirt. As a retired franchise owner of Quiznos, I believe I have some experience behind customer service. Today was New Year's Eve and no one would really want to work today I get it but that's the issue. I came in for an oil change and sat in the lobby for 5 minutes before another customer came in and they pulled his car in before mine. I had already been waiting and asked what was goin on. I was told the were just pulling his car in real quick. I asked if the other customers car was getting an oil change and the employee said yes but "this guy(referring to the other customer) comes here all the time, it will be really quick. I was in awe that not only was I a new customer and potential new business I am getting pushed back since I am a new customer. I'm sitting at home writing this and I'm not bashing the company in any way, but if you treat new business as crappy as I was treated today then I can certainly take my wallet elsewhere. read more

This place exceeded our expectations. Not only did they do a great job on our car and oil change, but they were very helpful with a flat tire that we noticed just as we pulled up to King Soopers, which is next door to this location. We had all of our shopping bags still with us and it started to rain as we were leaving (bummer), but the manager (Jimmy I believe his shirt said), helped us out by carrying a bunch of our grocery bags to out car in the pouring rain! He didn't even hesitate to help! We have a little one year old too so this was all a really big help. Just moved into the area. First time I ever went here and it will be my last! Brought my Chevy Tahoe in for an oil change. Everything went well including them giving my dog (sitting in the back) some treats. However, once I got home I noticed my truck dripping oil all over my driveway. I took it back to them, thinking they did not tighten something. They guy said they must have spilt the oil out of the oil filter when they changed it and that was causing the leak. I commented that maybe if they spill oil, they should clean it up so it doesn't keep dripping in people's driveway/garage. He said he would clean it up. The next day, my vehicle was still dripping oil. I figured they must have done something to cause it to still leak. I took it to the Chevy dealer and they confirmed that nothing was leaking and that oil was spilt probably from the filter. They ended up cleaning up the spill. I ended up writing a letter on their web site on the comments section, explaining what happened and as of this writing, never heard back from them. There are so many places to take your car to get an oil change. DONT take it to this Grease Monkey unless you don't mind leaking oil on your driveway/garage! read more

Well, the experience itself was pretty much what I expected going into one of these chain oil-change shops. You show up, agree to an oil change, and they spend 15 minutes checking your lights, filters, etc. to try to wring real money out of you, then 5 minutes on the oil change you asked for. The real beef that I have with this shop is that in the period after they changed the oil until I changed it myself the next time, my car ran like complete garbage. It's a higher-mileage vehicle and I think they must've thought it was a good idea to put in thicker oil. Unfortunately, it's Denver in the dead of winter and cars don't like thick oil in the cold. Anyway I put the manfacturer's recommended oil in it and it runs like a beast again. I'm just peeved at Grease Monkey and will recommend against using them to anyone. read more

A bit of a disappointment. Although the price is reasonable, the speed and customer service is lacking. Maybe they think that they can take advantage of a woman but that just isn't right. These guys were awesome - young too and that had me wondering seeing as they are perhaps just starting in the working world but the 2 guys I encountered on my visit last night were a pleasure. Very kind and personable - not just a canned conversation to get you moving. I actually showed up an hour before close and they said they were a little shorthanded so it might take longer - my plan was to drop it off and come back anyhow - I asked when it might be ready and was told as long as I was there before 6pm at closing it would be all ready for me. It was all ready, cleaned up and even presented with flowers on the dash! Nice touch! These guys deserve a raise, they are far better employees in this world already than a lot of adults who have learned the ropes! I will be back and will spread the word about this place! read more

Just called this location to see if I could purchase a gift card for my nephew. He put me on hold - he said they may them. I explained that I didn't to make wasted trip f they didn't have them- again on hold- he said yes they had them. I asked if my nephew could use it at any Grease Monkey location as my nephew lives in another part of town- again on hold- he said it all depends on Corporate. When I asked him to call Corporate to find out, he said " we don't have gift cards" I've had other poor dealings with this place several years ago. Absolutely terrible experience, the owner and her employees don't know the first thing about customer service or basic car maintenance. They damaged my vehicle and I was forced to go to the dealer ship to get it fixed and then they denied the damage all together and refused to reimburse me... These people are hacks and I will never take my cars here again, save yourself a major headache and go anywhere else than here. It's truly sad that business owners of establishments like this still run their business so unedicatedly, it's not hard to do the right thing and have integrity and make right what your employees did wrong. read more
