I had heard great things about this place and couldn't wait to try. We sat ourselves outside, there was a sign that said seat yourself. Our server came quickly and brought us a jug of water. Service was quick and everyone was pleasant. We had the fried pickles which were great and very crispy. We had the mr bigg burger and the pretzel burger. Both were fantastic. The burgers are also quite large, easily shareable between 2 people. The fries are a la carte and one order is definitely big enough for 2 people as well. Last night I had the worst experience at this place. I was overcharged by 2.00, so I complained about it to the waitress, who referred the problem to the manager. I was charged extra for ranch dressing but I was never advised it was an extra cost if I had ordered it. So I asked for a manger who I thought would remedy the situation AFTER I had already returned the food once. The manger said it was too bad, and if I didn't pay he was going to call a cop! I told him I was never told about the extra charges when I ordered the food, and didn't know about the extra charges until the bill came when we were done eating. The manager walked down the street and flagged down a cop OVER 2.00! The cop came and said i should pay the 2.00 since i ate the food, and i told him i was not afvised of the extra charges and i was not going to pay it! I was humiliated beyond belief, and never treated so poorly at any food establishment before in my life over something so petty! This manager apparently does not know the meaning of customer sevice and doesn't care if he loses a customer because he literally snatched the bill from the table and asked me to leave and never come back, which I don't plan on doing anyways! I would NOT recommend this place GREASE, because if they screw up your food or overcharge you, if you don't pay it, they will call a cop on you!! Our waiter took 25-30 mins to come back to our table to take our order. We ordered 2 well done and 1 medium well burgers. By the time we received our food we noticed that ALL 3 burgers were well done so that was annoying. We told the waiter that they cooked the meat wrong for one of the burgers and he took the plate and left. No apologies no explanations nothing. We shared an order of sweet potato fries, which were both crispy and sweet. Both of our burgers were cooked to perfection. They were each an amazing presentation. This was definitely a knife and fork burger for me, though my friend tried to take bites, he ended up taking the same route because they were so big. We have been coming to Grease since moving to South Florida 10 years ago. The food is always delicious and their beer and wine selections are extensive. Normally our service is okay; not so this time. Luka was perhaps the most intrusive server of all time. We appreciate attentive servers but intrusive ones only ruin the experience. So I decided to give this place another try at the request of some one and I really had to give an update. Our server was Jay hope I got that right, he was the best server anyone could ask for. He was funny, he actually knew about the menu and what the drink choices were like and just made us feel like a valued customer. We had buffalo and a Caribbean sauce wings and they were really tender and cooked well 8/10 the Caribbean wing sauce is the best wing sauce I've ever tasted. Now the burger i had this time was alot better but still not internally seasoned. I had it with sautéed onions, cheese, some other stuff and top with an egg. If I had to rate the burger it would be a 6/10 its big but it lacks flavor if it wasn't for the egg and onions would have be a 4 or worse. I give this place 3 stars; one for the service, one for the food, and one for the cost. The atmosphere and the cleanliness was questionable. When you walk I , you seat yourself so we chose a big table by the door. It was super loud, but. It as loud as the restaurants next door. The waiters were kind of slow but very friendly, suggestive and helpful. Our waiter seemed kind of tired at first but became very friendly as his shift went on. When the food came out it, it was good. Very tasty but simple. The waiter confirmed that the veggie burger and pretzel were both vegan; no egg or dairy if you omit the sauce. The sandwich was good but mushed apart so I had to eat it with a fork and knife. The tots were also well done. We had a good time but I definitely see room for improvement here. I had the Grease Beast which is a burger with the usual toppings, fries, cheese sauce all jammed between Two Grilled cheese bacon sandwiches and a huge pickle. They are made to perfection, cooked just as they were ordered and they were char grilled with amazing flavor. The Mac daddy was simpler but divine comfort food. The place is long and somewhat narrow. The bar stretches on one side while tables adorn the other shade. There's room to stand in between so we do that while we order drinks. I go for the margarita (you should now me by now). It was was a straightforward marg on the rocks that tasted great and was a hit with the group. Here comes the best stuff... Did I mention this place makes great burgers. Well they do!! The Burger from Hell, with jalapeños and queso blanco was bangin! And the Grease Beast with two bacon grilled cheese sandwiches....whaaaat??!!! Worthy of a Man vs Food episode. I made my own burger which was the classic cheeseburger with bacon, a fried egg and the trimmings. Again, ADM a Aye Dios Mio!!!! That's OMG in Spanish. Top it off with an order of the Truffle Fries and/or onion rings and you've got yourself a bonafide heart stopping, artery clogging meal that'll have you enjoying the extra hour you'll put into your workout the next day. The burgers are offered in 10 or 12 oz sizes and I split a 10oz and was more than full. The burger was tender and cooked exactly to our requested temp. Our friends split the sliders, which come 4 to an order and were actually a little thicker than other sliders, and were also cooked to temp and delicious.
