Day 2 , I call at them now for check up on my car , it's 1pm , but a different man answers and tells me my car should be done in 10 mins , so I started walking . While walking I apologize to my boss for not being able to be at work AGAIN but I'll be there for sure tomorrow 100% . When I got to the Firestone , I was given car , and when pulling out the parking lot my car wouldn't accelerate over 20mph for some reason . I slowly pulled into the Firestone again and told them . After 4 hrs of looking at the car it was closing time and they told me to bring the car back tomorrow . BUT .. it drove pretty fine on my ride home surprisingly , got up to 50mph but my check engine light is on . Day 3 ( it's 3:27am and I have to be at work at 4am ) I wake up and try to drive my car and it won't even go to 5MPH now ! My boss texted me saying how he's disappointed and how he needs me today and everyone cant keep covering me . Mind you .. I've NEVER missed a day at all until now . I feel so bad for my co workers but I need my car for my family ! And it's really Firestones fault !

First of all, I didnt think I would find a Meineke so close to where I live. It is literally within walking distance from my home, which made things much easier than I presumed. Its location is in Charlotte's "Plaza Midwood" area, just five minutes from uptown. Now, to paint a description of my car's condition before bringing it in would be a challenge, but lets just say it needed some serious maintenance. Lucky for me, they were running a "rainy day special"..and boy was it raining out that day! As I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly man behind the desk. He walked me through the special, which included an oil change, wind shield wipers, tire rotation, air, and fluids topped off all for 59.00! In my mind, this could not be true because Toyota was charging me the same price for just an oil change. Sure enough I learned that I was getting ripped off at Toyota! The man told me it would take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to finish my car, which was great because I didn't even make an appointment. I ended up spending that time at my friends house that was on the same street. After an hour, I received a phone call letting me know that my car was complete. I am not lying when I tell you that my car drove like it was brand new again. After my wonderful experience, I no longer need to go years without maintenance, and found that they can provide a pleasant experience to the auto care world! I will be back to this location in the future and recommend them to anyone in need of service.

They don't offer any sort of proof that the repair was even needed and rely on a Customer's knowledge of a vehicle not to offer proof. Most reputable repair shops will ask the Customer if they would like a detailed explanation and even offer to show the customer the issue for the repair. Apparently this shop doesn't think this is necessary as they are too busy to concern themselves with any sort of Customer satisfaction......if this shop ever states a repair is needed, ask they explain and show proof the repair is really required....
