My sister went to this great clips and was disrespected in the worst way. She is disabled and in a wheelchair for life and the manager there was completely disrespectful. The date this happened was jul 9th 2026. We didnt get her name but if you can find her that way go for it. My sister kindly asked her for the wait time so she could get a haircut. The manager then said to her "its clearly right there displayed, cant you see that?!?"and while on the surface this could be seen as just assistance but she was hostil with her words and clearly was hostile bc she is disabled. I went here for just a trim a few days ago. The lady's were somewhat nice and since I scheduled my appointment online I only had to wait a few minutes. But, I did have to wait a couple minutes past the time it was said it would be my turn, which I understand. The lady who cut my hair was very nice and knowledgeable on how to cut curly hair. I'm not a talkative person but I enjoyed talking with her a little was 18$ plus tip. Obviously my experience will be different then some others. read more

I do not recommend GreatClips. My experience was a complete waste of time. The app notified me (after a long 58 minute wait) that I only had a one a minute remaining to be next I only to have a lady show up last minute with multiple cuts (3 female haircuts, which typically take much longer) taking up every stylist and "significantly bumping my wait time." I quickly brought up my concern and requested to be removed from the wait list, the stylist (with the shoulder tattoo) responded by saying "oh you didn't get bumped" in doing that, other people waiting including the lady that showed up last minute with the 3 female cuts looked over as if I didn't understand how online check-in works. I do understand how it works just fine, I just wasn't willing to wait any longer. I also didn't appreciate the stylist making me look as if I was just being unreasonable, when all I asked was to be removed from the list. I just didn't have anymore time to waste waiting for a cut. I'm sorry to say this experience has left me with no desire to return to any Great Clips location. I wasted more than enough time trying to get a cut only to leave without one. I was eventually contacted by a Great Clips General Manager and was offered a free cut for this terrible service experience; I respectfully declined...not going back. read more

We did an online check in and it said it would be an hour. My husband takes my son at the appointed time. An HOUR after this(after his scheduled time), he is still not in the seat for a hair cut! What is the point of doing an online check in if they don't honor the time. They ended up leaving and never got a cut because they were tired of waiting. This is unacceptable for this day and age! The continuing wait adjustments is a frustration in addition to the lack of care from the stylist. I have had my hair cut numerous times over the past year though the last two months the care or ability has diminished greatly. If it is just a job, please find another job, people pay for a quality haircut. Yes, it is Great Clips but the last two cuts were more like backyard friend cuts. read more

We take our boys here for haircuts. One of my boys is a special needs child and we always request Jenna to cut his hair she is great! Very friendly and patient with him. We love going here. The wait may be long at times but totally worth it! We live in Tolleson and don't mind the drive out to Goodyear. We usually do online check in which has always been great. BEWARE. Worst haircut my son has gotten, I will never ever go back here. It's honestly deceitful that they are called great clips. My son has his first preschool Valentine's Day dance tonight and his hair was absolutely butchered. I cried for the first hour after the cut, because he had such beautiful locks. I honestly don't know what she was thinking. I told her to keep it long and she cut everywhere too short except for the front piece. She made a huge bald spot in the side of his head I can't even call her a hairdresser because I could have butchered his hair better without having to pay. It turned out beautiful, she was very kind and helpful to make it easy for such an important occasion. Hair cut ok but I'm a Veteran and Great Clips on Estrella Parkway by Safeway not only offers a military discount but they are nice and professional. A lady walks in with her kids and next thing I know is the boys name is removed from the list who was after me and then is being helped. This only extends my stay and doesn't align with the order of checking in. Ive had 3 bad hair cuts at this place over time, a couple good ones. I think its training ground for new girls that just graduated hair cutting school and all just barely graduated with like Ds and Fs. Hair grows back, so im honestly not that concerned most of the time. But this time was HORRIBLE. I literally had 2 large chunks of hair on either side of my head that werent cut and hanging out like a half inch... nothing symmetrical or even about this haircut. I didnt notice till I got home...but my wife was like WTF? So we did a home trim to fix it...not going back again. So I am sitting here after arriving 35 minutes ago. There were 2 people ahead of me (men with short hair) and 4 workers in the shop. I was quoted 10 to 15 minutes. When I arrived, 3 of them were cutting hair, while 1 was doing inventory. Why was she doing inventory, when you have customers backing up and waiting?? The 3rd girl finished with her client, but never took the next in line. So now only 2 girls out of the 4 are cutting hair?? I'm very confused at the level of service received here and won't be coming back, regardless of the hair cut. You don't just stare at your customers as they are waiting to get home to their families. You step up and help out when needed, inventory can be saved for another time. Which by the way was finished within 15 minutes of me arriving. So why was my wait greater than 35 minutes? read more
