I had LONG hair almost touching my butt, and I went in asking for layers, but said it was important to keep the length because I wanted to keep growing it. I should have known it was going to be horrible when she had me facing the front desk the entire cut rather than the mirror lmao. The majority of my hair was cut to about the length of my ears and she left a very thin piece in the back long. That thin piece was SEE THROUGH! I looked INSANE. I thought it looked fine when I left the salon because it was so curled I couldn't see any of the actual layers. Then I tried putting my hair in a pony tail (which I have to do for work everyday) and the majority of my hair wasn't even long enough to be pulled back into it. When I tell you I've been screaming crying throwing up every morning getting ready for work! A few days after this horrible cut I went to another salon to get it fixed. I had about 5 girls give me consults on what to do and they could not believe how bad it was. They said it looked like a haircut someone in their first month of school would do. They showed me that the layers were cut way too short at the back and that it looked like the stylist tried to fix it by cutting the rest at an angle, so i got a karen bob on top and a rat tail on bottom they ended up chopping the thin strands left long so it at least looked somewhat intentional, but oh my god I am so unhappy with what I got. I have honestly never felt uglier in my life, and I have never been that attached to how my hair looks. That's how dirty they did me. I can't even muster the courage to post a picture of what it looks like, so just trust it's bad bad. Whatever you do don't go to this salon, or at least book with Leann!

The owner is amazing. With expertise and a continuous smile she managed to make each cut look perfect!! Highly recommend this shop for haircuts. I heard positive things about their cuts from that charity event. I called in for an appointment, and was promptly scheduled for a haircut at the end of the week with Lisa. When I arrived at the salon, I was immediately offered water. Lisa pleasantly greeted me with a smile. She attentively listened to my preferences and concerns as I discussed how much I was willing to cut off and the length of the shortest layer. I showed her a picture of the layered V shape haircut. She then gave me a nice shampoo wash with soothing, warm water. Once my hair was dried with a towel, she cut about 3-4 inches off; which was the length I showed her. Lisa had a great arm workout, blow-drying my long hair. Furthermore, we had a great time chatting while she was working. I was very happy with the way the cut turned out. All my split ends are gone, and my head feels lighter. Lisa did an amazing job giving me that layered V shape cut, and maintaining my desired hair length. I would definitely recommend her. She loves her job, and is definitely wonderful at it.

I explained to the hairdresser what I want, I show her pictures and I suggested that she look in my file to see what color was used at my last visit. Unfortunately she did not care and did not do it. Color ended up all wrong. I left salon looking like I had cheap , home made color on my hair and I paid over $150.00 for this " professional" job. After I got home I realized that this is not acceptable and I call Sweet Salon back, I got Angela Perrone on the phone ( manager ) who told me to come in and she will fix it. I called them the next day and made appointment -- there was new guy in salon who took my call and wrote the appointment down. When I show up Angela was extremely surprised seeing me , and stated that my appointment is on a different day, I told her I have all written down, I took vacation time for this appointment . She went somewhere and when she came back she stated that this new guy put my appointment in wrong spot, and she agreed to take me in. But she already had customer , and she concentrated on the other customer, chatting with her and her friends while I was sitting there with color on my hair. I was sitting for VERY long time with the new color on my hair ( about 40 minutes minimum ). I asked Angela more then once if she is using Italian product, which is plant based and not damaging hair , because I have very delicate, fine hair -- her answer was yes. She was so much in hurry when finally she washed color off my hair - I had no chance to really look at her job, when I got home I got shock of my life : hair on top of my head were white! She stripped my hair of everything, every bid of pigment. It became obvious that she used harsh product , not plant based Italian one. I called her very next morning and she took me in, in order to fix the problem. She put something on my hair and I was sitting there for about 30 minutes, after she washed it out she put another product on my hair. White was gone, my hair had normal color. Well, it took only about two weeks after this visit where I realized that she totally burned my hair, they were breaking off , they were extremely dry. I went to hair salon -- in Scottsdale - to find out that there is NOTHING no one can do to fix what Angela did; they told me that damage she made to my hair is irreparable, and the only solution is to wait for the hair to grow back. They look at my hair and show me that in many places my hair is breaking off in huge amount. In the next weeks my hair got worse and worse, I lost the whole length of my hair because my damaged hair did not stop breaking off. Today - over two years later - I am still waiting for my hair to be the same length as it use to be. It looks like it will be another two years for me to have hair about the same length as I had before. My hair was very long, beautiful and very healthy before I went to Angela. Between the first lady, who color my hair in the wrong way, and Angela, I spend much over $300.00 for this " treatment " incl. tips. I endet up with ruined hair -- it took me many years to grow my hair -- she destroyed my hair beyond repair or any chance to save them. I will never in my life go to this salon again and I warn everyone out there. If anyone would like to see my pictures before I enter salon, after I left Angela Perrone, and what my hair look like today - I will be happy to provide the proof.

After waiting almost 30 mins, the stylist called another customer back before us. My husband had to speak up and say we have been waiting before anyone else. The stylist rolled her eyes, ROLLED HER EYES, and said that the other customer had an appointment. We said we had an appointment as well. She would not hear us out or change her mind until the other customer told her to just let us go first. Finally, my son's haircut starts at 4:35pm and it was fine. During the haircut, the stylist told us we needed to sign-in when we arrived otherwise they don't know who is first. I told her there was no sign-in at the front or any admin that we could talk to. She told me to "reach over the counter" to find the sign-in if it wasn't out front for customers. ? Not sure how appropriate that is in any situation when arriving for an appointment anywhere. As we were paying for check out, she asked if we had our punch card. We said we forgot it at home, and she ROLLED HER EYES AGAIN! I don't know if she was having a bad day, was stressed about how many people arrived, but it was awful customer service. We felt like an inconvenience for her and did not appreciate the attitude. Not to mention they raised their prices and paying close to $30 for a child's 10 minute haircut is just not worth it in this economy. Also, for better business management, might be a good idea to hire an admin to take calls and check people in appropriately. At no point was I trying to take advantage of anyone, and at no point did I ask to for a discount. No one deserves to have their personal circumstances used against them. What should have been a professional conversation quickly became something that felt judgmental, accusatory, and unnecessarily personal. The most disappointing part wasn't losing her as a stylist tbh. It was being made to feel like I was a problem for circumstances that were already difficult for me. Instead of professionalism, I was met with comments that felt targeted and designed to make me feel small. Businesses are entitled to their policies. What they are not entitled to do is shame customers, make assumptions about them, or turn a business matter into a personal one. I reached out because I wanted to feel beautiful. I left the interaction feeling humiliated. Here is my attempt to cancel and the policy. ****update- I spoke with owners and management and their quickness to resolve my problem and prevent this from occurring again to anyone was so relieving and refreshing. After a 48 hour wait. I was informed that they would be speaking with the stylist, and overall taking my concerns seriously. No point did I feel like the stylist was a true representation of society West and their core values especially after speaking with management. Keila answered with a kind voice and took my appointment. She was so unbothered by my last minute appointment and optimistic that she could fix my hair. Keila was attending to another client when I arrived but you wouldn't know it because she was very present and attentive to me. She even cut and styled my hair.
