I appreciate the extension of the olive branch and am upping my review to 3 stars. ----------Original---------- Not happy with a 5min cut. Spend some time with us. Just got a haircut from Nakita. Excellence cut, reminded me of the $50+ haircuts I'd get in Laguna when I lived there. Used a $5 coupon that I found on Facebook and it worked without issue. I walked in today at 2;45 and was the only waiting customer, with all three operators busy. The operator who would have been next to take me spent at least 30 minutes giving a guy a buzz haircut. She was very obviously dragging out the time, because she was having such a good time talking to him. With the haircut finally finished, she spent another ten minutes talking to him at the cash register. This very rude and unnecessary! I walked out and will think twice about coming back. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I wanted to get a V cut and I showed the lady an image of what I wanted and told her I wanted 3 inches cut off. The lady started cutting and then she told me "I never learned how to do this hairstyle in beauty school". Then she had to call over another lady to help her. Even though I gave my haircut stylist free range to design me something I'd like I notice the speed was quick. Looking at the environment I realized it was very busy so I could assume she rushed me off quickly to get to another client. As the hair cut finished i noticed she structured my hair in a way I didn't like even though I pointed this out during the first cut. As I sat in my car using my hands to restructure my hair i noticed she bundled my hair in a way to cover up what she disregarded to cut. Leaving my hair very uneven and sticking out. So when I came back in asking the receptionist if I could just get the stylist to even it out, the manager quickly rushed off the receptionist taking over the computer. She kept saying I wasn't in the system even though i was there 3 minutes ago paying. Clearly she didn't want to record my presents because prior to that the receptionist was logging in my information for coming back in. The customer service seemed more catered towards people in a rush or returning customers. So if your looking to spend money on something fast and a quick trim I'd say it's the place just don't go with high expectations read more

What a nightmare! Checked in online per usual. It said 37 min wait - cool, no problem. Went to eat and came back with 10 mins to spare. Walked in and was greeted by a gentleman who confirmed my name like usual - sat down and waited. I was top of the list. Sat here for 30 more minutes as they called 3 other names. I finally asked what the deal was after an hour and 10 minutes after original check in and they asked me if I told anyone I was here when I walked in. Um yes, he greeted me right away. Not to mention everyone working here sees my son and I waiting here for 40 mins??? They really acting like they didnt notice us? Or they didn't care is more likely. Ridiculous. I was getting kinda shaggy and it was time for a trim. Glad that a new haircut place was nice and close to me. I always forget that they have a check in online feature but I just dropped in. The place was moving at a steady pace, waited for about 10 mins or less and was called up for my cut. girl with short, purple hair cut my hair way shorter than i asked for. i asked for 1-2 inches off and she cut about 5-6 inches. i asked for layers and she didn't even try to even it out, she just cut it straight. she didn't blend it in, which you shouldn't really expect because the haircut is only 18 dollars but if you have a cosmetology license, at least make the hair even on both sides. she also complained about my hair being too tangled and making it obvious that it was such a hassle for her with her facial expressions. read more

Made an appt here after walking into another salon that had not one employee wearing a mask correctly. I called on the phone and the person who answered assured me that the staff is very careful and masked up. So, I went in and it was a fantastic experience. Clean, sanitized, and everyone was wearing their mask the right way. I felt at ease and happy! Ayla did my hair and not only was she amazing to talk to, she did my hair EXACTLY the way I wanted. Very rude and disgusting customer service. I'm a very patient person and it takes a lot for me to be bothered by something but the small Asian lady with glasses had such an ugly energy to her. She didn't greet me coming in to begin with and just seemed snotty and mad at everything from the start. I didn't understand what her issue was. I shouldn't have sat on the chair and got a hair cut by her. This was my first time here and I will never return just with my one time experience. Mind you the whole hair cut she did not talk to me once. I asked her, how are you today? And she clearly didn't seem to want to talk or engage at all. It was awkward. Clearly she was having a bad day or something but wow I've never felt so uncomfortable and disgusted with someone's attitude at a hair salon. I am not tender headed but wow she was aggressive while doing my cut and brushing my hair. It's like she was mad that it was a bit tangled because of the winds when I got there. I told her, it got a bit tangled when I got out the car since it got so windy all of the sudden. She was just flat out rude, had a bitchy attitude and did not speak at all. She was aggressively yanking my hair like she was mad. I could just feel her bad energy. I feel like the people around us even noticed... I've never gone to a hair salon and felt this way.. like what hair salons just sit people down and don't talk at all to the customer.. I always had at least small talk at salons while someone is cutting my hair. I couldn't wait for the haircut to be over. She was not friendly at all. I am so unbelievably mad! We took a chance and took My son to get his hair cut at a different great clips than we normally go to because they were having a grand opening sale for 4.99 haircuts! So this lady (Angela) calls us back and I tell her EXACTLY what to do to his hair AND keep him still! SHE DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME AT ALL! She completely fucked up my sons hair!
