Stylists do not take their time to provide a complete hair cut. My experience is they are always rushing through a hair cut and make too many mistakes, such as a crooked lineup and not blending the fade well. I have been coming here since the store opened. I have one barber, Olga who is very good. The others have been ok. I am retired military, so I have had some bad haircuts from the Navy. This past haircut was the worst of my life. I literally had to tell the barber to stop cutting my hair. I had to pay for it because there was no manager on site to resolve the issue. I fixed my hair myself when I got home. Don't ever get a haircut from Bathsheb. She has no idea what a haircut is. It took her over 45 minutes to cut my hair. I have short black hair. I don't have any fades or anything. Simple 1" trim and cut above ears. That's all I asked. She cut all my hair off and left me looking like a Marine with high and tight. Back of my hair was crooked with a notch in it. Sides were cut uneven and not matching at all. One sideburn was an inch longer and the other side was way higher over the ear. This is my first time going to this location since I am new in the area. Ladies, please do not let Mariah touch your hair. I went in for a simple trim with a long layer and face frame touch up since my hair was in desperate need of a cut. I used to go to Supercuts for simple cuts when I lived in the Bay Area, and I was never disappointed, so I hoped I would experience the same with this place. Unfortunately, it happened to be one of the worst hair cutting experiences of my life. My experience: Upon entering, Mariah took me to the chair immediately (I checked in online through the app). The no wait time was appreciated. Her first question to me was if I wanted my hair shampooed, but since I know that typically costs more and I just washed my hair that morning, I denied the offer. Once I sat in the chair she asked what I was looking for, I told her, and she proceeds to ask me if I would prefer a wet cut or a dry cut. I had never been asked that before for a trim, so given that she is the licensed stylist and I would want her to do whatever she's most comfortable doing, I replied with "Whichever you prefer.". I didn't have a preference myself because I assumed if she went for a wet cut over a dry cut, that she would still dry my hair before I left the salon. After all, who leaves the salon with wet hair in the middle of the day? Well I was wrong! She proceeded to wet my hair, which I thought was a bit unusual given the simplicity of my haircut request and the fact that Supercuts up North never wet my hair for a trim. But I shrugged it off, maybe it's her preferred technique. What I did not expect (since no one has ever wet my hair for a trim before) was my hair's reaction to being wet and then combed through. I have naturally fine, long, straight hair (my ends are bleached since I'm currently growing out a balayage I got done in March of this year). Since my hair is so fine, it proceeded to get very tangled after she sprayed it with water and tried to use a wide tooth comb to continue the haircut process. Mind you, she was not gentle with the comb AT ALL. Granted, I did tell her I wasn't tender-headed, but I don't think that means you can just start yanking at my hair! There were literal ripped out strands of MY hair all over the comb! I could tell she was getting exhausted and frustrated with my hair and she even said that she would put in the notes for my profile that my hair should only be cut dry in the future. And of course I understood her frustration, my hair was getting ridiculously knotted, but neither one of us could have predicted that reaction! On top of it all, she was supposed to be the professional so even if my hair was challenging her, she should've proactively started thinking of what she could be doing differently instead of trying to force my fragile, tangled, wet hair through a wide tooth comb. If my hair being wet was the problem, she should've dried it and started again! Anyway, I can't remember how long I was in that chair, but it felt like an eternity. But wait! This is the crazy part! She finally gets through all of my hair, puts her comb and scissors down, and says we're done. She even commented that it was painful (For her or for me? Both? Either way, I would agree). BUT GUESS WHAT? My hair was still WET! She said my haircut was finished, but my hair was still wet! She chose to wet my hair, she made me sit through an incredibly painful experience, and then she didn't even at least *offer* to dry it? Let me tell you, I got soo many weird looks from the other women in the waiting room as I was checking out with my WET hair half hazardously tucked behind my ears in shame. It was ridiculous. On Mariah: She had a weird attitude as soon as I walked in, she didn't seem very personable, and then she practically gave up on my hair. I'm not even sure if I have layers like I asked. My hair was so minimally styled because she got fed up with trying to comb through my hair. Long story short: if you're a woman seeking a simple cut and trim, this isn't the place. But if you're adamant about giving them a shot, do yourself a favor and avoid Mariah. read more

I really enjoyed bringing my toddler for his haircuts prior to my experience with the older asian hairstylist. We got there around 6:20 pm (if the manager is curious this happened on Friday, September 15th) on a Friday evening after checking in online. When I walked in, there were two hairstylists cutting hair and there was nobody else waiting to be helped. Then a Caucasian family walked in and didn't even know they were supposed to check in online. The older Asian lady helped them check in then told my son and I it was our turn. I could tell off the bat she was not keen to cut my toddler's hair. As I sat down to hold him before she began, she said "There are people waiting." I then asked her, "so you can't take us?" To which she responded "yes, I can." I don't understand what made her say that when I had checked in prior to coming in and the family who came in afterwards was clearly unaware of their check in process. I wish I would have gotten up and changed my mind but my toddler really needed a haircut at the time. I don't know if maybe she thought I would tip less since it was just my son getting a haircut or what but I still tipped $5 which I regret doing now. Specially since she left straggler hairs around my son's head that I noticed at home. I'm very disappointed since the other hair stylists we've had before have been so kind and welcoming to my son and I. I don't know what the older Asian lady's problem was that night but they close at 7:00pm and as I mentioned before I arrived around 6:20. Perhaps if they don't want to take clients past a certain time before they close, it should be noted on their site. We will not be going back. First, Sue was amazing! She was professional and I love the job she did, cutting my hair. I am upset, disappointed, and unimpressed by her co-worker (Indonesian female) who referred to my 6 lb service dog as, "fat" less than 2 minutes after I walked in the door. Her references to my dog being fat happened another 5 times during my haircut. If Sue hadn't been mid-haircut - I would have walked out because of her co-workers references to my dog being "fat", "healthy," "plump," etc Sounds dumb, I know. Its rude and disrespectful to refer to anyone's child or pet as fat. I could've said mean things or reprimanded her...I chose to be respectful and leave after my haircut by Sue. I did however let Sue know in a handwritten note that im upset. Please teach your workers while they are entitled to their opinions- They don't need to share their opinions or narratives with their customers. They NEVER know what tge customers are going through.
