This place is a bread institution, and for good reason. My standards for bread are ridiculously high. They have unbelievable bread and baked goods, made on the premises. If I had my druthers, I would roll out a sleeping bag and set up shop to indulge my addiction. I've been coming here for over 20 years, partially for the hearty and generously sized warm , free samples. They often included myriad warm butters and jams. Their breads are dense and chewy. I highly recommend the the Asiago pesto, which is a perfect accompaniment to any Italian dish. On the sweeter side, the cinnamon crunch is my current obsession. The cookies are fab, as well. You can't go wrong with the oatmeal raisin, which are dense and chewy, with mildly crisp edges. On this particular day, we were lured by the sandwiches for a quarantine - picnic. I feel that this establishment is best for takeout, anyway. Their sandwiches are pricey, but abound with very high- quality ingredients, plied high. We chose the hot ham and the Californian. Do the same; you will not be dissapointed.

One of the best breakfast sandwiches in town! Great Harvest Bread is a well known local family owned business. They use high quality ingredients, and all their bread and pastries are full of flavors, and made with care. I enjoy coming here to taste all different kinds of breads, they give you a good portion of bread for you to try. The chocolate scones are so good. I had sausage, cheese, eggs breakfast sandwich with avocado and tomato this morning. They are absolutely big and delicious. I couldn't finish it by myself. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants a big portion and tasty sandwiches.

Great baked goods-small sandwiches. I also wish they were able to serve the pizza rolls at this store! What a shame they don't!

There's plenty of parking but it does get quite busy on Saturday morning/noon. The place is pretty narrow and small. The offerings are nice but there were not many flaky pastries. I'm used to the huge glass case varieties from Tous les jours or Paris Baguette and love the flaky pastries or novelties the best! Yoon's was bread and bun heavy and their prices overall were higher (if you can believe it!). I did try this Cloud cake $6.50 that was out of this world good but the strawberry jam part was too sweet. The hazelnut cream sandwich loaf (3 small servings) was so beans good with my favorite type of cream that only Asian bakeries can get right! My only complaint is more cream, please!

I saw an ad for a Grain Latte (mi-su-ga-ru) and was so curious how it would taste. I haven't noticed it anywhere else (other Korean bakeries), so had to make a trip just for the drink, along with their other goodies. Omg, from the first sip, I was transported back to my childhood. I used to drink the multigrain drink that would come in powder form. But this drink was elevated by the espresso. What a perfect combo! Now this latte isn't sweet, so if you are looking for sweet, this won't be the drink for you. I had my hubs try it out and said he could taste espresso with an aftertaste of the grains- not something he would order, himself. But I'm definitely going to! He ordered the pistachio latte and I could tell it's very different from other ps's I've had from Monday Coffee Club or from Yemeni coffee houses. It definitely has that light, Korean, nutty taste that isn't strong. The baked goodie, I'm happy to say, has expanded and they offer so much more than they did since my last review. They've added a few nice tables and chairs, so you don't have to leave to enjoy your pastries or coffee, unless there's no spots. Highly recommend Y if you enjoy desserts that's not too sweet.

We visited the Ann Arbor location last Saturday for after-dinner dessert and to buy breakfast treats for the next day. The service was friendly, helpful, and quick. I love that the Ann Arbor location has turned their street parking into the most precious cafe seating. We loved being able to enjoy our delicious desserts and the beautiful fall weather. My mom, sister, and I shared the Pistachio Raspberry Tart, Lemon Tart, and Plateau Chocolat, and we enjoyed them all. The two tarts were our favorites! The Plateau Chocolat is very rich. We ordered the Sesame Feta croissant, Ham and Asiago croissant, and Berry Delicious for the next morning and they bagged them for us. We were so bummed the next morning when we opened the bag and the Ham and Asiago croissant was missing because we wanted to try it. We still loved the other croissants and we'll be back the next time we're in Michigan!

The cinnamon rolls are worth it, and this latest trip had me going for a yuzu lemon meringue bar, which struck the perfect balance of not too sweet, but also not a bland flavorless hellscape, which a lot of "not too sweet" dessert can fall into. Rather tempted to make the trip and get one again before they go away for the year. I will note that loaf cakes, like the apple cake and the olive oil cake, were a bit disappointing--dry, and in the former case, lacking in apples.

The egg has what looks like scallions and spices overall a really good sandwich for $9. Their coconut Ube milk bun was outstanding really enjoyed the coconut filling in the middle. The chili crisp scone was good but would have liked to taste more of the chili crisp. My wife tried their Champaign tea which she liked but did not blow her away. That said my wife is quite the tea connoisseur so it takes a little more to impress her when it comes to tea. All n all a great little spot will definitely come back again to try more of their baked goods. According to staff their coffee is what people really come here for, along with the baked goods.
