Pizza is really flavorful--perfect amount of grease, dough is properly cooked, and the sauce:topping ratio is good. I was disappointed that the only pasta they offered was spaghetti and meatballs. Staff is also friendly and accommodating. That being said, this is a restaurant clearly past its prime. The interior is (mostly) clean but definitely in need of a renovation. There's old equipment tucked into corners, odd empty spaces--just a general sense of decay. I had to step over a cleaning bucket to get to the bathroom, to give you an idea. If I could give zero stars I would. I went there with my girlfriend on Christmas and the old man working the register was incredibly rude. While we were looking at the menu he was rushing us through even though it was our first time and no one was behind us. The disrespect didn't end there. We ordered two drinks and when we got to the table I noticed there was a clear jelly-like substance on the rim of my drink. I didn't think anything of it and requested a new cup and that cup had the same problem. We always try out new pizza places and thought this would be fun. First sign should have been no one was in the restaurant at dinner time... we ordered our food. Spent over $100 so we could try a few different things. We took the pizza back to our camp site and after half of us ate our pizza we realized the Canadian bacon had MOLD all over it!! When we boxed it up and took it back to show them they gave us a tiny refund compare to what we went through. Came here on 11/13/21 for dinner with my husband and daughter. We ordered XL supreme, L Hawaiian, "Spicy Wings" and 3 sodas...the total was $85.00. $85.00 plus no free refills for their flat a** soda. When my husband went to the counter to get, what we thought would be a free refill of small soda, he was greeted by the owners wife with a "Que?" My husband doesn't speak Spanish-he's white, but since she refused to even make eye contact as he approached the counter she assumed he was a Latino who didn't speak English. This is how we sam them treat the Latinos who were in front of us and after us. Who knows how many other customers they've price gauged just so they can make their overhead costs. I understand times are tough, but if you're going to charge $85.00 for 3 food items and 3 small sodas, refills should at the very least be free. This place has a fire pit table and it is amazing! Great for family gatherings! Beer is priced fairly and the owner is friendly. Now to the food... the lettuce in the salad bar was brown, pizza was over cooked, and wings were not good at all! The pizza tastes like a microwave pizza and had no flavor even after i asked for extra cheese and pepperoni. I was able to taste the burn bottom. Wings... Disgusting food. Ordered a pastrami sandwich and garlic cheese bread. The pastrami was low quality, the sandwich was absolutely saturated with mayo, and it had full pepperoncinis in it. Very difficult to eat, messy, made poorly/sloppily and the taste was subpar. The cheese was barely cooked on the garlic bread, and even though I ordered marinara, none came with it. The pizza was sub par at best and tasted more like gas station pizza then one from a pizzeria. Honestly this has been my family's spot since before I was born. My siblings and I grew up on this pizza. It's still our favorite in town. They definitely make their pizza dough every day from scratch. If you're unsure of what to get I would say just go with the pizza and wings. I gave it a 4 only because the pizza can get expensive but it's so good. It's a hole in the wall and people sometimes see that as a bad thing. Hands down the BEST pizza place in town! They are probably the only place left in town that rolls out their pizza dough FRESH every morning! The crust is absolutely amazing, and the sauce is delicious. The combo pizza was better than anything I've found in a long time. The pricing may seem high, but it's a local shop that's been around for over 20 years, and for good reason. Excellent food and excellent customer service all tucked into a cozy, hole in the wall, mom & pop shop that takes hugs you with comfort from the moment you step in.
