Had yummy Orange Chicken in huge portion, shared by two with steamed rice, and two egg rolls. Chicken is great, but egg rolls just okay. Szechuan chicken tasted bland like it was just drenched in vegetable oil. No sweet, spice, salt... virtually no taste. Made my stomach feel horrible and my stomach is basically Steel. I ate 2 month old chili once without any problems. Will never return and wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

First time trying Great Wall Cafe in the Killeen and I am not disappointed. We didn't eat at the restaurant but may try it in future. The food was hot and fresh, tasted really good and got to us in really great time. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone and the one that made the delivery were both professional but not 'stuffy' and they seemed to really care about us as customers. I've had a bit better food but for this area, not so much. Thanks and I will definitely recommend Great Wall to friends and family. - I placed an order for delivery, and when the meal arrived, I noticed that there was an item missing. Immediately I call Great Wall Cafe to inform them that hey part of our order was missing. No attitude, just seeing what we need to do to get the missing item. The lady who answers the phones was RUDE and went on to tell me we didn't order what I KNOW we ordered! Went on to say "I repeated the order back to you so I know you aint order it"... But mind you the SAME LADY asked me several times what type of Lo Mein i wanted, and went on to break down the differences in Lo Mein (I asked the difference between Lo Mein, and Chow Main) My husband heard her read it back to me, and I know what I told her. Well after we finish our convo... she continues to talk junk not realizing that she had not hung the phone up saying "This lady didn't order any dam* lo mien"... As to come off as though we were trying to get something for nothing! I laugh at this because.... Why would we scam (after having tasted the food) a Chinese Food Restaurant? Lol Like seriously? Ive had better Chinese food out the frozen section of wal mart!!! I hear her say it, my husband heard her say it (She was on speaker phone) so I immediately call back just to be told that she didn't say it, and that if we wanted the other part of our order we would have to pay for it. So not only was the customer service terrible, but there liars too? MILITARY FAMILIES DO NO ORDER FROM THIS PLACE... FOOD WAS NASTY, ATTITUDES WERE NASTY, CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE! I've been to this place more times than I could count. The food is great, the waitresses are great. The only issue is the cashier. She snapped at us for coming in at 8:25, stating that they close at 9 and might not have enough time to eat. We own a restaurant that closes at 10 and happily take in customers up till 9:59 because business hours are business hours. The lady should not have snapped at us and according to my mom, who also frequents there, she is pretty rude to her too. Needs better customer service at checkout. read more

I love this restaurant. The food is always delicious and the service is great. The best part is getting the food you ordered customized to your liking. This is the only Asian food restaurant that I know of that will make a meal to your specifications. Lol. This is the only Asian food restaurant I go to in Killeen, TX. Most definately the go-to-place for Chinese food. I've gone so much and ordered for take-out, I feel the lady taking my order knows me. The food has ALWAYS been delicious and ALWAYS done as i've ordered. It's always a ton of food for the orders and it's beyond delicious. This place is close to our house and we drive by it all the time so we decided to try it for the first time. We ordered broccoli chicken with lo mein and some egg rolls. The lo mein was just noodles with no flavor at all. The broccoli chicken was half cooked. The egg rolls taste like the came out of a box in the frozen food section. Well it never showed up even after two phone calls and three hours. they had delivered it to someone else and did not want to give me a refund for their screw up. So I ordered delivery tonight... I ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Yung ,,Kalbi,,Spicy Pork Bulgogi,, and Sweet doughnut rolls... Shrimp Egg Foo Yung was delicious until I bit into a dehydrated green pea.. All the peas in the dish were crunchy.. Why not use fresh peas?? The Kalbi (Korean beef short ribs).. Very delicious,, just wish they could have charred it a little,, but still yummy... Uggghh., now for the so called Spicy Pork Bulgogi... YUCK!!! There were more onions than meat with no flavor and mushy.. If I was in the restraurant,, I would have sent it back.. And my biggest complaint is that none of the Korean dishes were served with any veggies or side dishes.. just meat & rice.. The sweet doughnuts were yummy.. Great Wall Cafe please read our posts and make adjustments to your food so we will continue to come back... If not then we will find a better place to eat.. read more
