Trapper's Fish Camp - A Return Worth the Wait (4)…read more Our group of six chose Trapper's Fish Camp for our monthly dinner outing, and I'll admit--it had been well over 20 years since my last visit. After this experience, I can confidently say that was about 20 years too long. I had forgotten just how well the food is prepared here. I opted for the Crab Cake Sliders since I wasn't overly hungry, and they turned out to be the perfect choice. Great flavor, nicely portioned, and satisfying without being too heavy. I paired them with potato salad and coleslaw--both were solid sides that complemented the meal well. My wife went with the Fried Clams & Fries and was very pleased with her selection. Always a good sign when both meals hit the mark. The only downside was the noise level--it can get a bit loud--but with a full house, that's somewhat expected. Overall, a very enjoyable return visit. It won't take me another 20 years to come back.

They explained the menu to us since it was our first time there. We went with the pre-fixie to try everything on the menu since they change their menu every 6 weeks. From start to finish. Each dish was absolutely immaculate. They carefully thought out every dish that they developed. The oysters, both fresh and baked were delicious. I was absolutely impressed with their appetizers. They had a pickled green tomato that went with the carpaccio. I need the recipe because I was absolutely blown away. This is an amazing restuarant and you can tell they truly care about what they bring out to their customers. I hope to visit again!!

Bless their hearts, they worked hard for us and the rest of the dining room. By 5:30, all the tables were occupied and the place was rocking (quietly). Food and service were fantastic. Focaccia and oysters to begin. 1 gin & tonic & 1 orange wine as aperitifs + 1 btl of Sonoma or WA Pinot Noir w/ dinner. Summer squash, (2) schnitzel and swordfish for entrees. Sweet corn ice cream for dessert. Wonderful evening w/ friends and great food. 5/5

I waited in line for their food truck at the Juneteenth festivities and was highly disappointed…read more The line was long and moving slowly. Not a big deal since this was a large event. However after waiting in line for 30 mins, there's one more person ahead of me ordering and I witnessed a mess. The lady taking the orders was eating the fish! Then made an announcement that she's backed up with orders and needs to fry more so she wasn't taking anymore orders for a while. Adding insult to injury, she wasn't extremely rude. I walked off and will not return. Imagine me giving them almost $60 for crappy service and an attitude.

Great little restaurant in a strip mall that wasn't hard to find at all. Service was good, nothing to complain about. If you're worried of speaking Spanish, don't worry since they do speak English and you can order just fine. Food was decent, it wasn't the ultimate best but if you're looking for authentic Mexican food, especially with some seafood, this is a good option. Still worth a visit in the area since there aren't many true authentic Mexican places to go in Yukon.

I had the tostada mixta (mixture of different seafoods) it came packed with seafood and tasted fresh. We also ordered the empanadas de camarón (shrimp) that were absolutely delicious! I will say this is a seafood restaurant so that is what their specialty is, so the birria tacos weren't that great but I'm not going to knock off points for that bc my friends carne asada burrito was good.
