For the second time now I have ordered food online. Both times I ordered shrimp toast (which is fantastic) and asked for extra hot mustard. Both times I received no hot mustard but a 2 oz. cup of cocktail sauce. Neither time was I told when picking up my order that they subbed cocktail sauce. if I wanted cocktail sauce, which tastes terrible with the shrimp toast, I would have asked for it. This is okay Chinese food, we ordered for five people, orange chicken combo meal and the sweet and sour chicken was fine. But the cashew chicken was sitting in almost a pool of water in the takeout container and was bland. I ordered the beef and broccoli combo and it was okay but it was pretty bland brown sauce they put it in. Was kinda hoping for more. Awesome customer service! My boyfriend doesn't like veggies in his fried rice and they made it fresh for him no problem. Most places we call make it in a batch for the day and won't accommodate our special request so it was really appreciated! I have never had a problem with this place. I always order from here. However, I called for a take out order of shrimp and broccoli combination dinner and when I got home it was chicken and broccoli. I am vegetarian and was disappointed. When I called back the woman who answered told me "I know what I said & there's nothing we can really do about it". Not good at all. I have eaten a lot of Asian food and this was REALLY bad. I won't call it Chinese as that would be an insult. We ordered, Hunan Chicken and Beef & Vegetables, both pretty consistently good Chinese dishes. They both had an odd taste which made you question the freshness of the meat and the sauce ingredients. After eating a couple of Spring rolls and soup, we decided to opt for the rice and to throw the entrees away. Just a total waste of money! I placed an order online and under special requests I typed " fried rice please ". a few minutes later the phone rang and it was great wall calling to inform me that fried rice was $1.50 extra and I would have to pay the driver cash because I charged the order online. I said " no problem but all I have is a $5 bill so make sure the driver has change." when the driver arrived he said " $1.50 please." I handed him the 5 and he said, "be right back". he came back with $3.00 and explained to me that they don't carry quarters so that's all I would get. the 50 cents isn't really the point, it just doesn't seem like a lot to gain to give up a 30 year customer. read more

They have recently updated the counter area where ones ordered to using more modern TV screens as menu boards which is nice and have painted too. As for the food I think the rice isn't too bad and is better than some places I have been. I will say I think it depends who makes the batches/ones portion when one orders. But its like that anyplace one goes. I like their sushi esp the spicy California and Philadelphia. My only complaint with the sushi is that they only make so many of a few types and that has to last all day so if 10 ppl come in and want the Philadelphia one and they only made 3 then 7 of us are out of luck and have to come back another day or call the day before we want to go so they can make some for us. To me they either need to do the following... 1)make more of each for the day 2) make them to order like rest of items on menu or 3) make so many for the day ahead of time but also have stuff to make more in case one runs out of what was made for the day can make one on the spot for someone. I haven't tried everything else on the menu but have tried at least 4 of their main dishes and their crab ragoon and Ive loved all those. Now are there places out there better than them? Yes. The hot and sour soup was EXTREMELY peppery-- I think they lost the pepper shaker in that batch!
