I rate low but order once a month. Solely for delivery and time. If you are picking up then I recommend anything from pei wei, to the several authentic joints around town like chow's, fung's, golden Phoenix, basically anywhere but here. But if you need delivery, it's a good compromise,I hate to say that their fried food is superior to stir fry. Noodles are a crap shoot, don't bother with soup. read more

Disappointed in the food today. Everything we ordered had the essence of having sat out on the counter a day or so. The fried jumbo shrimp was just stale. LoMein noodles were lifeless and mushy. The pork egg rolls were just blah - some charred skin with mushy insides. I'm not sure about ownership/management changes? Not the Great Wall we are spoiled with I will say the service was excellent... this was a delivery order due to my broken ankle. The man taking my order was enthusiastic, and the driver who delivered was so polite and helpful regarding the door vs ankle! Fast food doesn't have to be bad food. If you are in a hurry and don't want a plastic burger from the chains, go to Great Wall. First, everytime I have ordered by phone they say it will be ready in five minutes, and everytime it is. Try something like the small chciken lo mein at 4 bucks. That is all the food you need. The staff works their tushes off, and even when we had the great blizzard at Christmas, guess what? While everyone else was closed, they were open. It's not gourmet but it is simply very good. People make mistakes, but when they bring what you really ordered they want the food you opened back.. YES!! Okay I definitely overrated my review before. Although it is a great place for take-out, the food is more "okay" than "as good as it gets" for sure. They still are cheap and have the usual selection of Chinese and will be ready very quickly! For what it is (cheap take-out Chinese food), it's done very efficiently and very well and that's what earns Great Wall four stars. The only seating in the place is a few hard chairs along the wall where you can wait for your food to be prepared. Parking is usually available since it's in that big strip mall off 63rd and May (with Burlington Coat Factory, the Dollar Tree, and Quizno's). The selections are affordable, the vegetables are crisp, you get a generous portion of food for your money, and some of the entrees come in handy plastic faux-Tupperware containers which you can reuse. It isn't fine dining by any means but if you're on your way home from work and tired, you can call in your order and it'll probably be ready and waiting by the time you pick it up. The food was decent, but the attitude of the delivery guy was crappy. We checked twice to ensure we were within the 3 mile delivery radius before ordering, and according to google maps we were. When we answered the door, the gentleman delivering our order was loudly complaining to someone on his phone about the distance to our home from the restaurant. Okay, keep in mind this is a to-go Chinese spot. But I'm going to say, they have never let us down. I was cooped inside with my sick toddler last week, no energy to cook, but no availability to get out. I called Great Wall, they are so helpful and efficient on the phone first of all. Delivery time is so fast, and my guy was incredibly friendly and personable. We have always received our correct order, never had any mishaps with this place. Not bad at all, however I am STILL trying to find a decent Asian takeout place in Oklahoma City that has excellent fried rice. It's "OK" here, but it's not the best. I still get amazing fried rice at about 10 different places in Tulsa when I go back now and then but I just can't find it in OKC that compares, and I've lived here over a year. We LOVE this place. We can order online, and the online ordering will tell us that it will be 45-55 minutes (about the same as pizza), and more often than not the guy is here in less than 20 minutes. The orders are always correct, they follow the instructions and make my husband's order extra-extra hot, and they don't forget the chopsticks. If there's a better Chinese place that delivers, I haven't found it. read more

If writing a review were only about the actual food, I would give more stars. Food is decent for the price and category, but the service.. The guy that answers the phone is ridiculously uninterested and oftentimes very rude. The woman that works the register doesn't even look up from texting or watching a video on her phone while taking payment. I'm going to be up front I this review: if you are hungry,, like Asian food, in the area, and it's a Sunday this is a great option. I really love the photo of someone holding their menu on the real Great Wall of China!!!! It shows how multi cultural they are. HOWEVER! It might be different in other states and countries, but they owners seem to give off an essence of IDGAF and IDFWU to the loyal paying customers. Dear Great Wall, please step ya game up! P.S. Food is not generally bad, delivery is fast and generally friendly BUT ... the online ordering system is so old fashioned and unwieldly as to be ludicrous. After trying THREE times the order finally goes through,..well, sorta. They don't have an online authorization on your credit card...they still pull the data and enter it MANUALLY into a desktop system. I mean WHO does that nowdays? ANyway, they entered the card data wrong and held up our order for an hour and then we had to call and they got it right. My advice ... call them , do NOT order online. Do not eat at this place. I have food poisoning ! I ordered crab rangoons and the sesame chicken combo and Im going on day 2 of horrible stomach pain and throwing up the little bit of water I am drinking. Laid up in bed for 24 hours and then I shat my pants late last night. And because I though that food poisoning only lasts 24 hours Im starting to get nervous that theyve transmitted some horrible deadly infection to me. read more

Sadly there is not a zero star. I had had some moderate success ordering from Great Wall prior to the last 2 times. The next-to-last time I ordered the orange chicken was only hard and chewy pieces of "chicken". I wrote to them and explained that I felt it wasn't up to their previous standards. They responded that they would give me a "comp" order the next time, something they did not do. When I ordered the next time my bill was not reduced in any way. When I mentioned what we had previously discussed, they said they have credited my credit card for the previous order, that never happened. So not only was their food quality much less than it had previously been but now I no longer trust them with my credit card info nor do I believe they will honor what they promised. read more
