We spent 1 night at the the lodge. Checkin was a nightmare and had to wait upwards of 45 min in line. Every staff person we encountered was rude or just seemed depressed. Never a smile from any staff. We bought a pup pass, and the build a bear employee was so quiet and didn't talk at all. Definitely not the experience we were expecting. There was dust everywhere, the clock tower show was covered in slayer of dust, the pool area was the same way, dust and lots of nasty trash and hair ties covered the ledges you can see from the pool ladders. The room was okay, nothing fancy. The WiFi was horrible and during the evening hours it was so slow you could barely use it. I wouldn't waste my money at the cincy/mason one again. read more

Overall this is a fun place to bring kids. My trip would have been better if this location wasn't so unnecessarily inaccessible. I had read blogs from disabled bloggers about great experiences at the LaGrange and Concord locations, unfortunately this location just doesn't live up to that reputation. Water-safe wheelchairs were unavailable, so I tried to enjoy some of the other activities. Both the bowling and mini golf could easily be accessible, but still neither are. Throughout the resort a lot of fabric belt barriers were in place without regard for wheelchair users being able to pass through, creating tight or impassable spaces. One of the two dine-in restaurants is currently closed, and the other features a buffet which is too narrow for a chair user to pass through. If accessibility is a concern for your family, I wouldn't recommend visiting here. read more

Do not bother with this place, half the water slides are "under maintenance " meaning they just don't care to have staff cover those lines so you wait 45 min for a water slide ? That's it? The hot tub is full of toddlers with their parents because that's cool! Haha my 7 and 5 year old liked it tho, the kids section is the only section worth spending time in, the staff are not American they are bused in from turkey and other countries on work programs, the program to replace the American work force, the same program that replaces the American voter, however the American tax payer is stupid enough to pay these worthless politicians to stay in office! Really people when or what is it going to take to wake up stand up and say no more of this nonsense, yeah this is a water park but if you look closer every business in this Country we call America is being dictated by our elected officials, if the business doesn't listen they will be out of business, and yet our tax paid politicians $202,000 salaries we just keep letting them take, they will continue to take more and more and more until we stop this and say enough is enough read more

This is the second time I have come here with the kiddos. There are a lot of pros and several cons. Pros: 1. The water park is fun! For all ages (kids and grown ups). 2. Your kids will be exhausted because of the constant go go go. 3. There are several extracurricular activities for kids during the day that will keep them busy. 4. The staff is friendly. I couldn't do it, but they do a great job. 5. Considering all the kids and traffic they get the grounds and rooms are pretty clean. Cons: 1. The water park doesn't open until 10 am. We had to wait in line to get in. Why not open at 9 am? Or open early for guests who are staying at the hotel. Just seemed silly. 2. The food and drink prices are so expensive. You got to be careful with this one. We brought breakfast, lunch, and snacks. But of course, kids want everything they see. Luckily, I tell my kids no so often it doesn't phase them, but this place can definitely make up spend some cash if you plan on doing all meals here. The pizza place wasn't too bad, but I can't imagine doing it for more than a couple meals with the family. 3. We stayed on the first floor and I am not sure if the people were above us or just running through the halls, but dang! It sounded like a herd of cattle storming through at times. No, I don't spend all my time in the room, but I do have a toddler who needed a nap real bad after acting a fool. 4. The pull out sofa is awful on your back. Not comfortable at all. My back hurt so bad the next day. Overall, I don't have any major complaints. Just little things I found annoying. We will probably come back again in a year or two. It isn't something I like to spend too much on. I would much rather go camping or go to the beach. The kids love it though, so that's what it is all about. read more

We love this hotel. The beds are very comfortable, the lobby staff is always efficient and happy to help you through the line as quickly as possible. This waterpark is up kept, numerous lifeguards (some are happier chatting amongst each other) but for the most part are some of the most attentive of the numerous parks we visit. There is enough to keep you busy during your entire stay both in and out of the waterpark.. just plan on keeping your wallet open! There are restaurants in the hotel along with numerous within a couple miles. We will definitely be back! read more

Very nice water park. The slides were thrilling without being too scarry. All the staff I met were nice . My sister in law encountered a rude employee while enquiring about a pedicure for her toddler. She reported the employee and got a spa day for her child. I enjoyed my stay there the room I had was clean spacious and well maintained. I think I'll make it an annual tradition. I do recomend this as a family friendly get away. read more

Had worst experience in Dec 1st weekend 2018. Bought hotel room online with paw pass. When I went to front desk on the day they are not even instructing anything about what are law pass is about. And worst experience is room sink. When washing hands sink hole I see some black strings are coming up and when I pulled with plastic bag it's full of nasty mold and disgusting. There is restaurant experience next to water park which is " nobody cares what they serve. When I asked for cheese pizza they literally took pepperoni on top of pizza in front of me. And when I asked for beer. They said okay and charged me and then they gave wine and said taste it and tell you will like it for sure. " what kind of customer experience is this ? Was told we would get a text when our room was ready but we never did. Walked around for probably 2 hours waiting for the text. They were very busy as it was around spring break. Eventually I went back through the line again only to find out our room had been ready. This has become our family's favorite quick getaway! We were enchanted from the moment we walked in the door. Our 3y/o couldn't stop gasping and pointing out all the wolves he spied hidden in the decor. At check in all kids are given complementary wolf ears which made for a fun game of "ispy the wolf" as we walked around the resort. If you're a mamarazzi like me, these ears are also perfect for adorable pictures! I was worried having younger littles (3yo & 9mo) there wouldn't be much for them to do. I was so wrong! With a multitude of activities there was something for everyone in and out of the water. Our two day (1 night) getaway was just perfect! I especially love their combo pass (Paw Pass, Pup Pass, & Wolf Pass) for added fun. Each upgrade adds an additional element of extra fun. read more

GWL is a lot of fun, especially if you have kids that can engage in multiple aspects of the experience. I've been three times and one thing I've learned is that you put up with a few not so great things to enjoy the best part, having fun in the water park. The rooms are generally a bit dirty and things generally feel overly chaotic but I liken it to the Disney World experience(which is not a dirty experience) you put up with a lot to give your kids an experience they'll remember. Definitely recommending calling and trying to find a weekday that isn't a school holiday to try to beat a little bit of the crowds. read more

For the price you pay this is not a good value. The room was clean but Spartan. Select members of the staff are excellent - like the young lady who makes balloon animals, for example. I knew it was expensive when I booked - we got a 30% discount through the company I work for - but I did not know that would mean 30% of the slides would be closed! Full disclosure people!! The pizza at the snack bar is tasty but for $40 it should be. The $10 Drinks and $6 beer are about what you'd pay anywhere but the upkeep of the park is dreadful. The pool chairs originally had plastic stoppers but ALL have worn off as of the time of this writing. The manager Terry did not think this was an issue despite cutting two of the our kids. This profit OVER safety left a bad taste and we will NOT return. This is my first time staying at the Mason, OH lodge, but will be my 5th time staying at Great Wolf Lodge overall. This trip isn't actually happening until next month, so I'm leaving a first impression review as I found the customer service and advertising to be misleading and unhelpful. To begin with, I received an email about adding breakfast for $17.99 per person per morning, but was actually charged $19.99. It wasn't a big difference, but we're a party of 4 staying for 4 days, so it does add up. I first tried using their chat option from their website, but after an hour of it still waiting to connect, I closed it and called their 800 number. Once I finally was able to talk to someone, he said that it was an extra $2 because of it being peak time. I didn't see that listed anywhere in the email, so I can only assume that it's because it's summer (we're staying Monday thru Thursday, so I doubt it's because of the days of the week). I mentioned to him that the chat wasn't working, but he just blew it off. I'm hoping our stay ends up going well, but my first impressions aren't great. If you don't like children, don't come here! This is a family centric indoor water park which not only met, but exceeded our expectations. We have two daughters aged 9 and 2.5 and this was pure heaven for them! Waterpark was quite clean and was staffed with numerous attentive lifeguards who were very vigilant about safety; that's always a good thing! Towels provided in the park, as well as lockers you can rent for ten dollars. If you don't have anything valuable you're fine using one of the many chairs, loungechairs, and tables to plop down your stuff. Lifejackets are also provided, it was extremely useful for our toddler, no need to bring your floaties here. The hotel room was very clean. I was a little worried about the review here that mentioned bedbugs. Thank goodness we did not have that problem! We had the KidKamp suite which the girls LOVED the bunk beds and their own little area. Watch out, though, they have their own tv which also has video game capability, there is a charge for the video games! The other cool thing is that your room key is built-in to your entrance wristband for the waterpark! Very cool and loved that you didn't have to worry about your keys! You also have the option of attaching charging priviledges to your wristband, thus also eliminating the need for bringing any money to the waterpark area. TIP: if your hotel room neighbors are too loud at night...REPORT THEM to the front desk! You will be partially compensated for your stay and your noisy neighbor will get fined!! They clearly had signs thru out the hotel hallways stating "hibernation hours from 11pm to 7am". Our loud @ss neighbors and their kids were hooting and hollering at one in the morning. It wasn't until the next morning that I saw in the hotel handbook that if you are overly noisy during hibernation times you get fined, or if you did not have a restful quiet night due to loud neighbors, you will get partial compensation! Darn! All in all an excellent value for what you get...waterpark admission and a nice hotel to stay in. This particular location is great since there are so many other dining options within very short driving distance. We avoided dining here since prices were higher, of course you're paying for the convenience of not having to leave the building. But if you don't mind a quick hop into the car, you have just about every kind of food at your disposal. Great fun, we will definitely return! read more

We thought this place was great. Then on our second night here someone tried to kick our room door in at 1230 at night. We called the desk. I went up for a follow up a little later. The front desk guy who I assume is the night manager told me he sent security to check it out. When I asked more about it he said "I have 400 rooms and only one security guy what do you want me to do?" STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IT'S NOT SAFE FOR YOUNG KIDS. I am writing this at 1 am on that night while watching my 10 year old daughter toss and turn because she's now scared to go back to sleep. Sound like fun to you? read more

Had a great stay at this Mason/Cincinnati location! The water park part here is awesome! The wave pool was a big hit with my family, and we loved how the water park was divided up, into sections, it really made it seem less crowded. A few things I had a couple issues with, one was staffing, the line for the water slides was super long. They have 4 or 5 super tall slides. Upon getting to the top of the stairs, there was 1 employee, who was working all the slides himself. This really seemed to slow the line down. Not sure if it is always 1 person running it, hopefully they were just short staffed this weekend while we were there, and it's not a thing that always happens. The nighttime story and character were a hit with us. My daughter loved, the story, and being able to meet the character after and take pics. We checked in, and I asked all my questions, the lady at the front check in was very helpful. I asked her about SCOOPS SPA, where my wife and daughter could get mani/pedis, which they were super excited about. She said you had to go to the spa itself, and make a reservation (no big deal) We walked over, excited to make a reservation, and we were told by the girl working the attached Build A Bear shop next door, that Scoops Spa is no longer open (all the stuff was in there, there was no sign saying closed, it looked like it was not under being redone etc) , she was not sure why they were closing it down, but Scoops is no longer going to be there according to her. Not sure why the front desk lady told me different. That was disappointing. The Halloween dance party was a hit with my daughter, she loved the music, lights, and the dancing the place provided! It was a great way to end the night, and she was beat! We also went to sign up for the character breakfast buffet. We had stayed at a previous Great Wolf before, and we didn't do it, and my daughter was super sad about it. So we were for sure going to do it this time. Upon going to sign up, we were told "We no longer do character breakfasts anymore" How disappointing :( I think my biggest disappointment was, not that things change, close etc, but that we were not informed. Scoops is still on the Great Wolf Mason/Cincinnati mobile app, and listed on the site, along with the character breakfast, on the app, and site as well. So why would we even think to consider that these didn't exist anymore? Total bummer. All in all, even with this issues aside, the room was clean, food was delicious, and we had a great time. So far great experience- but we have got the large suite with the highest paid package - so I'm not sure that means I'm getting better than average. So far staff is great- room is clean and close to Marriot standards type rooms. Ours is the size of a ski condo and looks updated and totally updated. Customer service has been kind and lifeguards very aware of all areas. Rides were all working and covid standards in place. I can smell the chlorine so I know it's pretty dang sano. Beds/sheets stained with biological fluids coupled with poor restaurant service, dreadful food, and all our children suffering from severe rashes as a result of over-chlorinated pools - this place is beyond awful. We get it, we all "have" to come and bring excited kiddos; just be prepared for filthy carpets, trash strewn about...all a part of the assembly-line "resort" experience. I appreciate the staff offering free breakfast in response to the stained mattress and the inconvenience of waiting for them to replace everything, however seeing our suffering children and dealing with their toxic chlorine rashes is unacceptable given this facility's expertise should be managing their water. read more

It pains me to write a bad review at this place because we have been having a wonderful time at the lodge for the past 7 years. This visit was back in February over our winter break. This was our first visit at this location. We usually go to Traverse City or Sandusky, as it is closer to home. First the good- the water park is much bigger and offers more attractions. It's located right next to the amusement park and it is easy to get to. Wasn't a bad drive from the Detroit area at all. The breakfast buffet was good and the restaurant was even better. So now the bad. The water seemed Considerably colder. I like the GWL because the water is really warm...usually:) we stayed for 3 nights. The first night, we never received maid service so we called to have it done the next night. To me, this is one of the luxuries of vacation. They finally came and they were in our room when we got back from the water park. There were 3 or 4 of them in our room and I saw a man unplug his phone from MY charger and plug my phone back in. I also witnessed very cleary, a woman looking in my purse. The room had been done and when we got back, they hurried up and left. Nothing was missing but it was an u uneasy feeling and I'm not sure that would have been the case had we not just gotten back. Not sure if we will be back. read more

We booked the loft den suite to bring my son and some friends for his birthday. It was booked over a month before our stay. We confirmed that we could get waterpark access at 1:00 and then our room would be ready for check-in at 4:00. This was our first time there, and since it was a special occasion we were very excited. We did the pre-check in process the day before as well to make sure it was a smooth visit. We arrived at 1:00 and the room wasn't ready, which was perfectly fine and almost expected. So we got our waterpark wristbands to go have some fun. At 4:00, I went to check the status of our room, and the employee (who I will say was very kind and as helpful as he could be) informed me that staff was running behind and it would be another hour. Okay, fine. 5:15 comes around and I check again on the room, at this point we are offered late check out because it still wouldn't be ready for another 30 minutes. Late check out does nothing for us because the children are being picked up at the normal checkout time. 5:45 comes around, I now speak to management. And while he was very apologetic and provided a discount on our room...he still couldn't tell me how much longer it would be. I have 4 hungry and frustrated boys with me, we were trying to wait to get pizza until we had info on the room. I check again at 6:45 with the front desk and she informed me that the supervisor is cleaning our room now and it should be 30 minutes. We finally got our room number at 7:00pm. Then of course had to wait an hour for pizza because that seemed to be our luck this night. I guess some positives would be that we enjoyed the waterpark, the arcade is nice to have right there, and the room was nice and comfortable. Look, I understand that staffing issues happen. I have worked in retail, customer service, and the service industry for many years in the past so I know that it's not an easy job. But to wait 6 hours after arrival for our room, even 3 hours after the guaranteed check-in time, is unacceptable. There was hardly any communication and we just kept being told that we were on the top of the priority list, even though I didn't see other people waiting that long. I hate to say it, but this was our first and our last time visiting Great Wolf Lodge. We will never book here again. read more

We had a conference here last year and this year. The conference center is nice, the food is decent, and for the most part, the staff is nice. I had a great experience until last night. I went down to the water park to sit in the hot tub. When I walked into the park, it was 8:15pm. There were about six staff members at the entrance. I walked in, grabbed a towel and started to walk around the parameter of the park towards the bar and hot tub. I had just gotten to my destination when the group of staff all started heading my direction with one of them furiously blowing his whistle. I had no idea it was directed at me (seriously, this is how you try to get a guests attention....I wasn't in the water). Then one staff member came up and said that the park was closed. I said okay. Then I said, it would have been nice if someone had told me that when I walked in. One of the staff members, a male, said something under his breath. On my way out of the park, one of the staff members, a female, sprayed me in the back with a hose, and then acted like she was hosing off tables. I turned around, looked at her and said, "really?" I reported the incident to the management and while they were apologetic, didn't seem too concerned about the incident. I realize that these are immature teenagers, but if this is the quality of staff that are interacting with children on a daily basis, they need to rethink it. Frankly, the kids involved should be fired. You shouldn't treat guests in this manner, harmless or not, it's not okay, and it's not funny. read more

This was our first time at Great Wolf Lodge and overall, we had a great experience! We stayed in a Kid Kamp room with our boys and they loved having their "own room". The room was nice enough- my only complaint is the bathroom has a toilet and tub and the sink is across the hall, leaving you with dirty hands as you leave the bathroom to wash your hands. Obviously, it's just my family using this bathroom but my husband and I didn't love the set up. We had a small fridge and microwave, which was great for storing leftovers and eating our lunches. The lodge was big and had various fun activities for the kids. The buffet and lodge restaurant were nice, but pricey, which is typically to be expected if you are eating inside the resort. I utilized the gym and was sad to see there was only cardio equipment. It would have been nice to have some free weights and other small equipment as well. The indoor and outdoor water parks were a blast for the whole family- if you are going into the park be prepared to get wet! You will not be able to navigate throughout it and stay dry because of all of the different water features made to shock and surprise you with shots of water as you pass by....so don't be upset when you're blasted by water, it's a water park after all! The lifeguards are active and vigilant, always pacing and checking the water and enforcing the rules. Some tips and things to remember: -you will be exposed to kids who are loud and rambunctious- it's a water park for kids....some will have meltdowns and some will act like they've never been in public (it's amazing what water and lack of sleep will do to a kid). -schedule some time at the spa, it's worth it! -it's your job to ensure the safety of your kid, the life guards are an added layer of safety, not babysitters. -take time to visit King's Island! It's right next door and has a great selection of rides for kids and adults of all ages! read more

We LOVE coming to GWL. The rooms are amazing because they are kid friendly, spacious and clean. They all either have a walk out patio or a balcony. The ones we've stayed in usually have a fireplace too, which is great ambiance when it's chilly out. They have an indoor/outdoor waterpark that is great for all ages! They do lots of kids activities like story time, dance party, arts & crafts etc. When you're done at the waterpark you can go to the arcade, play glow golf, visit the candy store, have a kids spa party...there are lots of options. My inly big problem is the arcade is WAY too expensive, I'm talking a major rip off. (One reason they only get 4 stars). Also, the bulk candy store is $12 for a small cup filled with candy. Again, price gouging guests isn't the right way to make money, especially when we're already spending a fortune to stay here. Lastly, the food. They have many options including a place, a burger place, a buffet, Dippin Dots, Dunkin Donuts and a sit down restaurant bar. We decided to eat at the "fancy" restaurant and we were terribly disappointed. The menu is one page....very very small. They are going for gourmet with expensive, fancy dishes, but I'm sure they don't have a real chef. I ordered the chili wings & brussel sprouts. The sprouts were super sweet and undercooked. The wings were completely flavorless. Blah. They had short ribs galore on the menu...lasagna (yuck, my husband ordered it and it was nasty), short rib chili, smoked short ribs ...it went on and on. No burgers?? Why? My son got the chicken tenders and wouldn't eat them they were not good (how do you screw that up?). Our girl got macaroni which was bland and below average. Do NOT eat at this restaurant. Save yourself $50 and get a pizza! Despite the complete waste of money on dinner and in the arcade...we had a blast! Next time we won't even consider eating in the restaurant or going to the game room. Lesson learned! Everything is clean and kid friendly. It's no 5 star resort but what it lacks in tv options it more than makes up for in smiling exhausted kids. We went to GWL with our 2.5 year old son. We were excited about the activities and a mini-vacation. But, our very expensive room was dirty- there were crumbs and sparkles on the floor and the mirror in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. There was a hole in the wall and several stains on the carpet. We did enjoy the water park though. Lots of different areas with activities for all ages. The food was seriously lacking. Everything tasted like it had been reheated a few times. Our toddler wouldn't eat the chicken nuggets and they are one of his favorite foods. Everything was ridiculously overpriced. We got the pup pass which I think was worth it for all of the little extras- a T-shirt, stuffed animal, ice cream, candy, arcade games. Will we go back? Maybe. This was the worst experience we have EVER had with a hotel. I'll just start by saying this was our honeymoon. We arrived for our 4pm check-in to be told that our room was not ready, after we waiting out in the parking lot for an hour while our room was being "cleaned" for us we received the text saying our room was ready. We then walked to our room and upon arrival we realized that our room was in fact not ready for us, but yet still being cleaned. As we waiting for the room to be finished (which took about ten minutes) we were approached by a lady stating how sorry she was and that they were getting the room all perfect and ready for us. FINALLY THE BEST PART! We entered our room to find mold in the bath tub, trash still on the floor, the floor was soaking wet and smelled musty, the mirrors were nasty and dirty! We had such a good time here, the room was amazing we got the fire place loft which holds 8 people. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. We were never in the room. So much family fun. The pizza is the best, the breakfast buffet was delicious but the dinner buffet wasn't the best. It was better at the steak out pub that is across the hall. Love the walk up bar in the park. James our bartender knew his stuff and how to make for good clean conversation. They have a kids hot tub then above it an adult 21 and older hot tub area which was perfect. We bring our boys here every year for the oldest's birthday. What isn't too like here nothing like being able to swim and ride slides when it is 0 outside. You have to try to go on a weeknight or use a Groupon or this place is really expensive. I think it could be getting even more expensive than it has been in the past. The food is okay between pizza, burgers and the breakfast buffet. You can check in at 1 pm to let your party go swimming and then you can stay till 9 pm the night you check out. My family had a lot of fun and enjoyed the many activities they have available for young children during our stay at great wolf. We frequent Kalahari, but really enjoyed how much great wolf catered to our young childrens entertainment. I'm only giving them 2 stars because we had a very unpleasant experience with a waterpark supervisor, a red head named Rachel, who refused to address preteens doing cannonballs in the hot tub for over 30 minutes. After my niece and other guest were injured from being jumped on because her lack of concern, (and she walked away from me as I tried to talk to her) we decided to call it a day. The children told another guest (who was also wondering where the heck these kids parents were) that their parents were "in the car smoking", nice. The supervisor was more annoyed at me for asking her to intervene than the fact people were being hurt/ leaving the area because of her negligence. I've always been a fan. I've taken my family at least twice a year for a long time. My question is how do you justify charging $849.00 for one night?! You aren't offering anything different than you have in the past! Now, half of the aquatics are closed for Covid, so why so pricy? For $100 more, I'll book a week at the beach. I do appreciate the friendly staff and cleanliness at the Mason OH location. With these prices though, I'll have to pass. Even with the Spring discount, almost $700.... I just can't do it. read more

We did get to check in earlier than normal so that was nice main reason I am giving a 2. Out room is lacking it's so filthy nasty very disappointed with this trip never had an experience here where the room made me cringe. The floor needs a major cleaning and the ceiling has brown water spots it's very gross. Pay too much money for a room that is repulsive would have rather drove further and went somewhere else. read more

Pretty terrible experience all together. When we arrived, half of the water Park was shut down due to "issues" we were told multiple times that it would be different times. Once the wave pool shut down I feel they were forced to open the rest of the water Park earlier than they said because people were going to lose it. The chlorine was so bad that I had to leave the water Park area all together. The rooms were nothing spectacular and the walls were extremely thin. All and all we will not be coming back, Kalahari was 10 times better than GWL.... read more

I would give this place 5 stars, but the food wasn't good at all. The rooms were nice and spacious. The lobby is amazing. We can't wait for the kids to be old enough to bring here. Between the indoor water park and all the other kid activities, this is a great place for them. You also save on parking if you are heading to kings island. It's just a 10 minute walk. There is an arcade downstairs for the kids. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back in the near future. read more

So much to do and so much fun for little kids. Only thing that I hate is you have to stay overnight, we live down the street so it never makes sense why we can't just buy day passes! read more

My wife and I stayed here for her company's summer employee appreciation event. All in all, a good experience with just the right amount of kitchiness to the hotel theme and a relaxing weekend getaway. We stayed in a very clean fourth floor room which was BIG. It even had a balcony with a view of the fireworks from Kings Island. Not only did it have the two beds, but a couch, a large mini fridge, coffeepot and microwave! We greatly enjoyed their text based personal assistant and can confirm it is a real person answering questions, not a robot. We even opted for a late check out which extends to 2pm for $50 more. The only reason I'm rating a three instead of four is because the check-in experience was very disappointing, our clerk seemed agitated and bored, but still asked us to fill out a survey(are you sure about that buddy?) I asked him if they had a handicap accessible room because I'm an amputee but only really need a walk-in shower with a chair. The manager behind our clerk said that all the accessible rooms were booked. Okay, fine. Usually the hotels I've been to have a portable shower chair you can ask that they can bring to the room and it hadn't been a problem before. But when I asked about that she flatly said "we don't HAVE those." Alrighty then. The redemption of the bad front desk customer service came from the text based personal assistant, the excellent housekeeping service who saw that I forgot a couple personal items in our room when checking out, and a special shout-out to our server in the hotel restaurant/pub who, while tending bar, gave us great service and brought excellent food. I would definitely like to give them another chance. read more

The whole appeal of this place is breathtaking that is until you start to experience it... The food was cold and late and when we complained we were told it was perfectly okay! The rooms and silverware at the restaurants are stained and dirty. The magic quest has a lot of broken chests and the wands are an issue to use most of the time. The chlorine gas chamber of a pool area is so bad every time I enter I cough for 15 minutes straight. The shows are the only saving grace as it's able to distract your kids but most things are wearing down or uninspired. Don't waste your money on an overpriced small dirty room and some sickening food until you've really run out of options. The appeal for kids might be great as they don't understand quality yet. read more

Ok it's great wolf lodge I have been multiple times but this time was by far the best. Because my kids are older they understand how to do the maji quest better than the other 5 times we have been. The rollercoaster slide was closed sadly. That's my youngest favorite ride. This time my kids were brave enough to do all the rides them self so me and my husband went to the outdoor pool and got a drink. Instead of having to follow them everywhere. I believe we got the best room because it was on the 4th floor all the way to the end. Usually whenever we come we here kids stomping there feet and yelling while we're trying to sleep. Kids has a blast and are saving up for another trip!! read more

Normally I give great wolf lodge 5 stars as it is my happy place but we are currently there and I went to take a hot shower and the water was cold my husband went to the front desk and the response was oh well we had to shut the water off last night on the top floor well were on the bottom floor. And when asked when we might expect the water back on the response was a couple of hours really guys read more
