We've been in prior restaurants in this unusual Main Street space, and had previously felt that the value relative to cost wasn't quite right. Perhaps prior restaurants felt they could jack up prices because of the cool vibe this glass-enclosed structure emits. We were pleased that Greco, this space's current incarnation, wasn't like its predecessors. Four of us really enjoyed our experience at Greco. We shared cocktails and several appetizers, including a special Greek-inspired crab cake that was anything but what I expected. Wrapped in fine threads of phyllo dough, these cakes were impeccably prepared, and in my opinion, the best of our starters. My lamb risotto was quite good, although my friend ordered Greek sausages that were outrageous. My wife's pasta with cream and a touch of truffle was also excellent. Greco's baklava was very good, although I wasn't a fan of the galaktoboureko. Pistachio ice cream wrapped in a chocolate shell was refreshing. After gratuity, our meals were about $210 per couple. Considering that we each had two drinks (six cocktails and two wines by the glass) + five salads / appetizers, three mains and three desserts, we felt the cost was about where it should be. Service was very attentive and friendly. All in, a terrific evening. One disappointment was that at prime time on a summer Saturday night, only about 3/4 of the tables were taken downstairs. I didn't check out the area upstairs but we saw very few parties on their way up. Quality restaurants in White Plains haven't had the best of luck except right on the "strip" between Post and Maple on Mamaroneck. This one is worth finding a spot on Court or Main, or just parking in the Galleria and walking the 3 minutes. I'm optimistic Greco will be a part of White Plains for a long time. We'll certainly be back. read more

Wondered by and stopped in. Very nice menu, wine list is short but has some interesting additions you don't see everywhere. Cocktail menu is very interesting with many ingredients that are peculiar to this place. The boutique Negroni was eoctopus app was tasty, the santorini wine was good. The bronzino was cooked very well and the rice spinach side is delicious. You can order the fish head on bone in or head off bone out or any mix in between. Just remember with any fish, bone out doesn't mean you don't still have to take care. It is not canned tuna. read more

I like everything about this place. It's ambience is elegant, romantic, classy. The music in the background is soft and appropriate to the setting. I like the silverware, heavy but ergonomically designed. I like the cloth linens and cloth napkins and table setting design. But most of all, I like the food. I love the food here. I went with a group of 16 and every person was very happy with what they got. This is a decidedly fine Greek restaurant with Mediterranean influences from the broader geographic region. From appetizers to main courses to desserts, you will not be disappointed. They had wine that I had never tried before which was delicious. A Greek Cabernet with other varietals mixed in that beautifully complemented the meal that I had. The prices are reasonable. The service is excellent. Your water glasses will never go dry. Your coffee cups will never go empty. The water has no hint of chlorine. Enjoy! read more

I live nearby the New Milford location and was excited to see another location come up. This one is much larger and has a nice modern building. Parking isn't great but it isn't too far of a walk from the galleria or city center. Our wait staff was a bit slow to deliver bottles of beer to the table, though the cocktails came out decently fast. The Greca margarita was good and had a smoky taste to it. The hummus was great and the saganaki flambé is a favorite of mine in both locations! This menu was smaller in comparison to the other location but had good choices. I ordered the moussaka which was tasty, though it was hard to break through the eggplant with my fork. Prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. Nice addition to white plains. read more

I stopped into GRECA for the first time for lunch the other day. Boy am I glad I did! First of all, it has a funky vibe inside with nice high ceilings. and booth seating with pillows. For starters, we ordered the octopus and the brussels sprouts. The platters of food that came out were gorgeous! I absolutely loved the octopus, which was on top of a bed of peppers, onions and peas, in a citrusy vinaigrette. It was just delicious! The brussel sprouts were also very good, with lots of Gorgonzola and a balsamic glaze. For entrées I had the lunch grill and my friend had the Gyro carvings platter. Again, two more beautiful masterpieces came out. I really enjoyed the different meats the lunch platter had to offer, and the Gyro carvings were amazing. I absolutely adored the homemade Tatziki sauce which was thick and rich and perfect. Our waiter was very attentive and nice. He helped us decide what to order. Celebrated an event for 28 colleagues/friends in the Private Room downstairs. Lovely venue and the service was outstanding. We did buffet, but our server was constantly watching for empty plates and empty wine glasses. His professionalism and friendliness was much appreciated. The food was outstanding - octopus, calamari, mezze... Our guests even raved about the pita! The entrees were also great - chicken skewers, red snapper, spinach rice, brussel sprouts w gorgonzola (wow!), lemon potatoes. Octopus was among the best we've had, as was the baklava. My experience here was pretty good! We decided to stop by after some shopping at the White Plains Mall around 3PM on a Saturday and it was empty. My family and I got the Greca Salad, Branzino fish, Gyro platter and Saganaki flambé. We were really disappointed in the salad as it didn't taste fresh. The fish was very good but the star of the meal was the Gyro platter. The meat was so tender and the fries and pita were amazing. We ended up getting to know the owner a bit and he served us these honey and arak shots and it was delicious as an after lunch drink. The restaurant has a lot of occupancy as there's an upstairs, main level and downstairs all for seating. Overall, I'd come back if I was in the area. read more

A relative newcomer to WP in the funky glass covered building by the Opus hotel. Classic Greek dishes but with an upscale flair. When you enter the bar space is right there. Not the best spot for the bar but the layout doesn't really allow for much else. However, the bar is not why you come here. Having recently traveled to Greece, I was surprised how good Greca really is. They serve some dishes--like Fava--you don't find often here and the quality is as good or better than some places we ate in Greece. We shared numerous appetizers and I had the Branzino--done in the classic lemon oil and served whole (or filleted if you prefer). We will definitely be coming back and trying more and more of the dishes. read more

After having incredible date nights here, we knew Greca was the perfect spot for our rehearsal dinner (our wedding was at Kanopi/Opus across the street - all get same parking validation!) as our wedding weekend vibe was summery minimalist. We worked with Mea for logistics/selecting pre-fixe menu, who was kind and quick to respond/accommodate for our lovely evening. All our guests loved the mostly family-style meal, and the servings were more than plentiful (favorites-fried calamari, spanokopita, and marouli salad). We partially reserved the upstairs space against the windows (amazing lighting for golden hour photos), but we ended up having the entire to ourselves while having impeccably trained wait staff. Highly recommend for both events and evenings out - we can't wait to come back to celebrate our anniversary! read more

Came here for my moms birthday on a Friday night. Very nice ambiance! And the iPad menus were a fun touch. We ordered the tzatziki and pita app, calamari and one of the specials with beats and potato. All were delicious. For the mains we ordered the Greco salad, chicken risotto special and a swordfish dish (I think, not 100% sure). The Greco had the most amazing tomatoes I have ever had in my life! If I could, I would have ordered a bowl of those to go haha. My sister and mom also raved about their dishes. And then we all got dessert which was just as good as everything else. It's seems like they change up the menu often which is nice for a variety. And there was a private party room downstairs which would be perfect for a small event. This has got to be one of my fave sit-down spots in all of Westchester! Stopped in for lunch during Restaurant month. They had a prixe fox menu we opted for since it our first time here. The tzatiki was delicious paired with warm pita bread. The marouli salad with chicken was amazing! Loved the flavors, would totally get again. My girlfriend got the fig panini which she too liked a lot. Panini was huge. Specials were yummy and so were the entree and cocktails. I wouldn't say It was phenomenal and highly recommended but It was a nice casual dinner. No complaints at all. Cocktails were okay. We recently moved into White Plain and we were patiently waiting for Greco's to open their doors. Between all the mask restrictions and new coronavirus variants, we were worried that the risks of opening a new restaurant would be too great, however, I'm happy to report that Greca Mediterranean Kitchen has opened and they are serving to packed crowds at their bar as well on their two storied restaurant. My wife like eating upstairs where it's a little quieter but the most important thing is that their food is excellent and their staff is exceptionally warm and welcoming!
