OK OK...This Greek kid has an almost duty to stop in to most any place called "Grecco's". Come on, don't judge me! This self serve car wash has been around for EVER. The residential areas around here have greatly expanded, so you may find it hard to get a space on a sunny weekend. The prices are average, will cost you about $3-$5 in quarters to wash an average size, average dirty, car. They do have a cool new gadget that is a gun shooting out warm air, like the hand dryers in dive bars... but for your hoopty. Made quick work of the water still chilling in all the cracks and crevices. See ya again next weekend Grecco! read more

not recommended because this place uses a sticky wax based soap that is hard to remove. I had to get cash from another customer because their card reader did not work. you sped more money than a regular carwash. read more

I usually go to the one on 9th in Esco. I can get my whole car done for $3 This cost me $7 and the dryer didn't work, so my car had spots everywhere. I'd avoid this place. read more

He does his best to keep stuff (soap, waxes, brushes, vacuums) stocked and working. He's been helpful in the 2 times in needed to interact with him out of the 50+ times I've gone there. Glad to see this place in the neighborhood as it's getting harder and harder to find a wash that fits high vehicles. read more

BEWARE!!! Credit card fraud. I visited this car wash a couple months ago then all of a sudden this past friday they charged my card again, this time for $30!!! They are saving your credit card info then charging you again later on hoping you do not notice. Im filing a police report, if this happened to you I suggest you do the same. The only way they will stop. read more

First time for me, pretty good with one exception, everything fine till I started to rinse the car, halfway through the rinse water turned light green, smelled like wax. Of course I had to add more quarters to get the car rinsed, at one minute started with the green water again. Then i stopped. Anyone know what the geen stuff was. I only used the wash and rinse. read more

This place always has something broken. I don't live out here but when I used to I used to use this place many years ago in the service was great. I was out here the other day from Oceanside to clean my car and was watching it and the spot free rinse wasn't working. So one of the employees came out and gave me three tokens for another car wash. So today I went to wash my car to use the three tokens in only two would work. I called the service number again in the guy got smart said you're only out of dollar I go I had to put $2 in but I wouldn't have had to if the three tokens at work. He just made excuses and was being a punk on the phone. I know the old man so when I see him off a talk with him. But I would not use this car wash there's always something broken always something wrong. It's run like the back of their ass! I know lots of people will tell people not to use this place anymore. To the young man on the phone the customer's always right dumbass! Get your equipment working right or go out of business or stop running a half rate car wash! Here endeth the lesson! read more

I've come here twice now the vacuum's have horrible suction and all the features don't work in the car wash bay's.

Used bay 4 and everything worked well, foam with brush, power sprayer, tire function, and dryer. Definitely will be our spot for washing the RV. read more

Nothing more than a typical gas station wash. Don't waste your money. Find a real car wash elsewhere.

Great car wash. Except they need to fix the f*:%'/ change machine. Pain in the a$$ to go searching for quarters.

Greco's is truly really Friendly! All the machines work great, and my truck always comes out cleaner when I do it myself here! I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone who has a car or truck! You just can't find this kind of service at a do it yourself car wash anywhere else! After washing my car I noticed a bunch of tiny scratches on the paint when I got home. Went back immediately to take look at the soap brush used and to my surprise full of dirt which caused the brush to scratch my car!!! There wasn't anybody working, so I went back the next day. The following day I ran into the son of the owner. While trying to get his attention I heard him say 3 times he was in a hurry to leave to the other customers. After looking at my car he told me we try our best to keep our equipment clean, but ultimately the responsibility falls on the customer. I will never go there again and highly recommend that other people don't as well. They rarely ever have staff on location for the necessary maintenance of the equipment and will take no responsibility what so ever. If you really think about it why would anyone pay a business for their service and they take no responsibility!!! You pay for what you get. read more

The guy who runs this place is so sweet and has the best Greek accent! :-) All of the people that work there are so sweet, and when my dollar got stuck in the change machine, he switched it right out for me, no problem. I have since moved to Escondido, but will continue to drive to San Marcos to wash my car each week because this place is the best!! read more
