As always a superior clean at superstar car wash this particular time the GM Chad was watching over the wash cycle on my Tesla and because I took my seatbelt off it put the car in Park while on the wash cycle but no need to worry because Chad was there to save the day. He burst into action, stopping the entire wash cycle for all the cars saving my car from being hit from behind. It's OK to clean some of the dirt off, but if you want your car clean this old place is not gonna get your car cleaned. The one in Escondido is much better, but this one is just old. I think my mother came to this one when I was a kid and I'm 50 in August.. The kids that run are pretty nice. There is always a place to park to vacuum. If you want your car cleaned, you have to go through it two or three times to get all the shit off. It's OK. read more

Coming here because soapy joes in San Marcos is closed for renovations. The wash is ok. I came around 7:15am and there was a sign to wait for an attendant. I think we waited around 10 minutes and I couldn't leave because cars started filling up behind me. Maybe attendant was in bathroom or not yet arrived. The wash itself is ok. It's not the best car wash, you need the extra towels to dry and wipe off some of the things that don't come off. They don't pre-spray like soapys either. But hey, good for a quick rinse to get the initial dirt off. read more

Update since they made a useless response. Their "claims" department denied me again, except they cut/pasted the wrong car details into their fake form letter template, and then sent me a corrected one, so now I know they just run through all their claims in batches and deny them. They are refusing to be transparent in their denial and provide any details. Just know that they are dishonest and defrauding people whose vehicles they damage. read more

First of all, this location is closest to my house. However I wasn't coming here I was going to the one off Melrose because this location always seemed to have an issue. Well I came today and met Chad the new General Manager and he went above and beyond in customer service leading me through the gate entrance because the sun was reflecting on my plate and wasn't registering, then he came up to me while I was drying and asked if I needed anything. Didn't clean the back of my car to the point where the back half was completely dry. Went through a second time and was still dirty.

I'm done with this place. Every time I come here there is a new kid who can't just let me use the automated kiosk, they absolutely HAVE to wedge themselves between you and the machine and take over. I asked the kid nicely to please let me handle it after he did his job and greeted me and did the pitch for the monthly plan. He then proceeded to chat me up to purposely distract me so he can create some confusion to try and force me to need his help so he can AGAIN push the buttons on the screen for me. I asked him again nicely to just let me select my wash and pay myself as I have done countless times before. He acknowledges but AGAIN can't restrain himself from distracting me with open ended questions he has zero interest in hearing the answer to, he just has to find a way back in between me and his machine. Now, distracted by him YET AGAIN, he takes the opportunity to take over for me and starts pushing buttons on the screen, AGAIN! I have to endure this crap EVERY time I come here. With him STILL trying to chat me up instead of just leaving me to select my own wash and pay on the machine (that is there so he doesn't have to be) I'm pissed off and flustered enough to be putting the card in the machine wrong because my focus HAS to be split between the machine and edifying the poor kid whose job apparently depends on not taking no for answer, from people who have ALREADY SAID YES AND PLEASE LET ME GIVE YOU MONEY! He has to now save the day in his mind and help me understand how a credit card swiper works by trying to take over, YET AGAIN, instead of getting out of the way and letting me complete the payment without having to focus on making sure he feels useful too. Either endure them pestering you so they can practice selling on you or give in and let them take over and push buttons and swipe a credit card for you so they can feel like they made the big sale, only choices apparently. I own a business right up the road from you guys and I own 4 cars I prefer to have an automatic wash do the heavy lifting on before I do the final details. Congrats on finally chasing me away for good because you can't train your staff to read the room and just let a guy give you his money for a car wash without having to go through the same pathetic dance EVERY SINGLE TIME with one of your Condescending Eager Beaver Leg Humping Wannabe Power Sellers! Prices a bit high. Car wash quality meh. The "super" should mean "super high pressure to buy monthly". I literally had to say "no" 4 times in the time it takes to run a credit card for the wash. They make it really unpleasant to go there. Had monthly... not worth it, PITA to cancel. read more

What once was a solid 3+ minute car wash is now a scant 2 minutes tops. Cars are crowded bumper to bumper on the conveyor. Towels may or may not be available. When there are towels, they are unfolded and leave streaks on the inside windshield and back window. Half the time there isn't even any music for the parking lot. Lately, there has been more dirt remaining on my car than a year ago. Seriously considering cancelling my membership. read more

To start it off, I went through the car wash, and came out with black oil stains all over the side of my car. Then, I proceed to get towels, and there are NO TOWELS at any of the stations. Not even someone refilling them. Then, I go to go through the wash again ( I have a membership) and the girl is absolutely NO HELP and doesn't even bother to apologize about the oil splatters all over the side of my car. Then, the guy working the car wash, doesn't even speak English and has no idea what I'm telling him and proceeds to push my car into the car wash. Not even a person around for me to talk to about them destroying my car. So, I would not recommend this place. Terrible customer service, and terrible experience. read more

Things have changed for the worse since my first 5 Star review in 2021. Customer service sucks and they have a CHRONIC TOWEL PROBLEM. Besides only one person working at the wash entrance, who the heck is in charge of this place? Warning! I am one month away from canceling my subscription. 1. Towels are never available in the parking areas. 2. You have to walk across the lot to ask where all the towels are? 3. Then someone "might" roll out a laundry basket on wheels with a pile of unfolded towels. 4. They don't put any in the holders in the parking space towel holders. 5. This review is fairly similar to my other review in Escondido, as the car wash mirrors the other with its amenities. Since their monthly plan covers all their locations, its nice to have options. I currently live closer to the Escondido location, but I work closer to this spot and frequent this one due to work and evening activities. I have the monthly plan where I pay $25 for unlimited washes. As is with the other Super Star locations, you just pull up to the various entrances where the self service machine reads your license place. Once it scans your license plate, you drive up , get guided in by the attendant and you are out in 3 minutes. After you've finished washing, you have two options: you can either leave and let yourself air dry, or you can utilize the various amenities available, including: *Self-service vacuum stations equipped with two types of nozzles. *Towels provided for wiping down any remaining water. *Compressed air stations for inflating tires or removing water from hard-to-reach areas like windows or tight crevices. Nice service to have, keeps me truck clean. read more

Not sure if it is due to unreliable employees or apathetic management, but a business should strive to open at posted times. I have been trying to cancel our membership for 3 months. I have tryed calling, using the cancel on their website and still being charged. Here has been my consistent experience. The guy that's tall and thin with curly hair that handles the kiosks doesn't like to go from row to row to take the customers in order. He just stands in one row and pushes to sign up for the monthly pass. I hope you get extra $$$ in your paycheck. The guy that sends the cars through the car wash doesn't adjust the type of wash you get. I pay for premium and sometimes get regular wash and vice versa. It's been more than 3 months and no one even contacted me to work on the damage happened to my car. It's a scam and I have seen many people there whose cars got damaged during the wash. This place will scratch up your car. I should have known going into it, but I really needed a quick wash as it had been a month since the last wash. I normally hand wash my cars but if I'm ever busy I usually goto a chevron and get a brushless wash. This place can't do brushless washes. I followed the instructions before entering the wash. Checkout the pictures. What's strange is that only the right side got severely scratched, not the left side. Don't take your car to these washes unless you want your car to look like this. Last week I was there and the gate wouldn't open and not a single person in site. After 15 min I left. Yes the membership is cheap, but the quality is even cheaper.
