Wow! What a great find! Found that their food truck was going to be in my area, and it was an instant dinner. I found the website and placed the order. There was a wide variety of platters, salads, and sandwiches to order. We ordered platters and salads, and everything was delicious, filling, and fairly reasonable for what we got. 25 minutes after the order was placed, I was told it would be ready, so I went over just about a mile from where I live to pick it up. It was ready, and a lot of people were picking up food from that food truck that night. I'm looking forward to trying a different meal at a later date, and probably a salad, as it looked super delicious and overflowing with meat and vegetables. Food smelled amazing but so incredibly disappointed how they made my food. They labeled on their menu what is exactly on the items except for the platter. I am sadly allergic to dairy and made sure to get the platter since it says it only contains rice, chicken, salad, tzatziki sauce, dressing and pita. But when I got the order and went home, the entire platter was covered in feta cheese. I would had been okay if it was just the salad that had the feta but the rice, chicken, and bread were all covered head to toe in feta. It actually looked delicious but I was so sad when I got home that I can't eat the meal I paid $17 for. They labeled the bowl for having feta but decided not to that for the other items? Two months ago tried their Greek fries, only to discover that their version of fries meant soggy and raw in the middle. A month ago, gave them another try, told them about my previous experience. "GUARANTEED" to fry them up extra crispy. 3 minute walk back to my building and my desk, opened the container, soggy and raw in the middle. Finally gave them one more chance today. Ordered a Chicken Bowl. Chicken was overcooked and dry, rice was cold, and hurt my tooth on a bone. To their credit, they gave me a full refund no questions asked. But will never recommend them to anyone. My previous experience with GOTS was consistently 4 or 5 stars two or so years ago. Don't know what has happened to them. I've frequented the Greek on the Street truck since 2020. If there's a farmer's market or food truck event near you, it's a guarantee this truck will be there. You know the food is good when there's usually a crowd of people at their truck. Any staff member I've interacted with has been upbeat and friendly. You can't go wrong with their gyro or chicken burrito bowls. The gyro slices are pretty big. The chicken is juicy and is seasoned well. I like their fries, but they're best when eaten immediately. If you have a bit of a drive home, they tend to sweat in their container and they become soggy. They definitely don't skimp on the portions. It's enough for two meals. I've also enjoyed their platters. Choose your protein, and it comes with a side greek salad, seasoned white rice, tzatziki and dressing with pita slices. The pita is always fresh and soft. I love this place. They always have the greatest selection of food and their mobile. That makes it even better. I usually get the gyro platter with fries or salad whichever one they have at the location. They're dressing is a little addictive I have to admit. I thought I would have to wait a while but when I ordered the gyro platter, they handed it to me right away with the receipt- nice! It was my first time eating it with rice, since I usually get it with a side of fries. Definitely needed more rice or pita since it was saltyyy. Tzatziki could have been seasoned more as well- looked and tasted like plain greek yogurt (I know that's what it is) but it needed more cucumbers, garlic, or something. This is a traditional Greek food truck I love the chicken platter from this food truck. The platter comes with your choice of meat, white rice, salad and pita bread. It's worth the extra $0.50 (per) to get an extra side of dressing and an extra side of tzatziki sauce. I've never complained about waiting for my food, even with long lines the food comes out super fast. I visit this food truck in odenton Maryland at the odenton Firehouse for food truck Thursdays. Greek on the street is the equivalent of food truck "comfort food." They magically show up everywhere there are food trucks and they're consistent and good enough. I enjoy their gyro bowl and feel well over-filled by the time I finish it (realistically, a bowl could be shared by 2 people). It's all good enough but I wouldn't say amazing or mind blowing. They are typically in workplace parking lots or food truck rallys, so parking is associated with wherever they are at. Definitely give them a try. read more

Wow!! I had never heard of this amazing food truck before it showed up at the Odenton Volunteer Fire Food Truck Thursdays today. So, so glad I found out about them! I confess, I held out little hope that a food truck could produce a gyro that I'd like equal to or greater than my fave nearby restaurant. I was so wrong. The tzatziki is key, and it was abundant and perfect. The meat was tender and flavorful. And the herbs and tomato bits were just right. In short, it was an excellent gyro that I'd drive to get. Also I need to say that the Greek fries were beyond delectable. I had never thought about sprinkling liberal amounts of feta cheese over piquant fries, but let me tell you ... so amazing. We visited a food truck gathering at a local farm on a Friday. After looking at the list of food trucks attending (and reviewing all their menus) my husband and I settled on Greek on the Street cause it's been forever since we had a falafel. I love me some falafels!! We both ordered Greek falafel bowls which are $9.99 each. They gave you three big balls on top of a bed of rice, tzatziki sauce feta cheese, and a tomato mix. Plus they toss in a few small pita slices. We were served quickly and took it home immediately to enjoy while it was still hot. The flavor was there but the feta cheese over powered all the other flavors because there was so much. I love some feta but not that much! While at Artscape, I came across the Greek on the Street food truck. With other great choices of food on that strip, it was my winner. At first, I was considering leaving the line because it was so long but I glad I didn't. The line started moving along at the last minute of me debating whether to leave the line. The cashier was friendly and my order was ready in less than 5 minutes. The prices were a lot cheaper than some of the other food trucks. I ordered the gyro pita wrap with feta cheese. Amazing! Best gyro I've ever had. The meat was cooked just right and the tzatziki was really good. I was tempted to get the greek fries but I knew I wouldn't be able to finish both because my stomach is shrinking. Would love to find the food truck again to try them because they looked so good. Reasonably priced Greek food. Ordered from their truck for the first time today being as they conveniently park in the lot at my job once a week , and I must say I'm glad I did. I ordered the grilled shrimp platter and it's was delicious. The shrimp are big and grilled to perfection, the platter also comes with rice, pita slices, a Greek salad , and tzatziki sauce, which was worth every penny. A disappointment. Ordered the gyro. Took approximately 5 minutes to drive home. Opened wrapper and over half was a soggy mess. Tomatoes? Tzatziki sauce? Not certain. Had the consistency of a sponge left overnight in hot water. But the sponge is superior in the sense that you can squeeze the water out and it maintains its shape. Today my salad just wasn't cutting it so i braved the threat of rain to finally see what this truck was about. Its really enough to split between 2 ppl. Its shredded lamb on top of perfectly cooked rice feta tomatoes and pita break included. I could have done without the tomatoes but thats personal. Everything else was awesome. The lamb was juicy and seasoned well that feta got all melty and mixed with the rice. Im extra full and extra happy. The pita bread was store bought but ehh it's sitting in a food truck all day concessions must be made. The three ppl working the truck were friendly and fast. One of the best food trucks in the area hands down in my opinion. I became acquainted with them around 2016 or 2017 one day outside of Jailbreak Brewing back when they had food trucks, ran into them again at Artscape and some random places etc and then was lucky enough to find them at the Elkridge VFD Food Truck Fridays all summer and fall of last year. Any time I do see them around I am more likely than not going to choose them over another truck because they are just consistently that good. They have a variety of plates/platters and such that you might expect from a Greek place but I always find myself getting the normal gyro sandwich and Greek Fries (fries with I think feta, garlic, parsley and lemon?) each time I go there. I also like to get a little extra order of tzatziki sauce for dipping the fries into because theirs is just delicious and perfectly made. The food is served in major portions and price isn't too bad for food trucks in my opinion. Anyway if you are in Baltimore or the surrounding area and find yourself somewhere with a bunch of food truck options you honestly can't go wrong with GoTS for tasty Greek food! read more

The line for GOTS was wayyyy longer than the other food trucks in the area. I'm thinking, "This place must be pretty awesome!" and immediately got in line. The menu was pretty standard. Greek salads, pita wraps, platters, baklava... the usual. I was intrigued by the Greek burrito bowl, which is essentially a deconstructed gyro with rice as the base (aka Greek Chipotle). I opted for the Chicken Wrap ($7). It looked pretty tasty, but fell short on execution. Very heavy on the tzatziki, but barely had any tomato or onion (maybe a tablespoon). The huge chunks of chicken were also very difficult to eat. It was as if the entire chicken breast was only partially cut. This definitely required some fork and knife action and plenty of napkins. I think this wrap would be better with more toppings and bite size pieces of chicken. Overall, the wrap was tasty, just not very friendly for a "food truck" environment. I am interested in trying the bowl or platter next time. Hopefully those choices will include more toppings and easier to eat on the go. read more

It's a solid 3.5 stars. Everything is pretty alright. The falafel is decent and very affordable -though I've had a bit better, I don't know if I had at $7 for a falafel pita sandwich; what a steal! The 4 stars comes from the impeccably fast and friendly service and absolutely from their amazing GREEK FRIES. These wonderful fries are good anytime (but I feel like they'd be perfect after a night of drinking): good greasy fries with salty feta and a nice sprinkle of lemon juice and parsley to cut through the richness. Hands down the best chicken gyro I have had by far. Even though they had it ready within two minutes of me ordering, the chicken was still moist and fresh. You could expect it to be maybe dried out if it was pre-made. Nope! Perfectly seasoned huge chunks of white chicken topped with the best homemade tzatziki sauce ever. I added feta to mine. This is one of my favorite food trucks in the area. They make a really good gyro. The smokiness of the meat, softness of the wrap, and extra touch of fresh herbs are what sets their gyro apart from anywhere else. Other entrée items are really good as well. My family is a fan of the chicken wrap among others. Unfortunately, I have not enjoyed the fries here. It may just be their style, but I find them too soft and greasy for my taste. Service is friendly and efficient. At times they will use a deck of cards to keep track of orders when really busy. I though that was a cool and creative idea for a system besides issuing numbers. They have multiple trucks that operate in and around the Baltimore area. Check out their Facebook to find locations for the day. They also do catering.... although maybe not so much now during the pandemic, but once that is over you should consider them if hosting an event. Took advantage of trying them out during Food Truck Friday's at the Elkridge Volunteer Fire Dept. I got the Greek Burrito Bowl with Chicken. It comes with rice, tzatziki sauce, tomato, onion, feta, a chicken skewer and two small pieces of pita bread. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was very tender. My only complaint is that it felt like they put a whole container of feta cheese on it....I like feta but it was a little overkill. I was so happy to see Greek on the street in my hood today. I love the lamb chops, which did not disappoint. There rice maker was down so the rice was a little subpar. We also tried the Sriracha fries, which were too spicy for me, my daughter loves spicy but not feta so she said they were just okay. Shrimp pita was good, there grilled pita and tzatziki are delish.
